A ton of employees of the hospital had stared at me walking through the hallways, knowing I wasn't allowed up here, but because Miss Black was by my side, they kept walking along.

I was given some new medicine to help my immune system by the doctor who took care of me. It wasn't easy to convinced Miss Black that I actually ate today, but with the to go bag in hand, she believed me when she saw the color come back to my face after I was given some fluids through my veins.

"The process of healing your Pokémon is still on going. It's been years in the making, but you picked the right hospital to do the job" She smiled. The reason why that sentence may had sounded weird was because my little one had a horrible accident when Team Rocket was still around and she needed major surgery. She's a small Pokémon, so it was hard on my doctors to complete any progress they knew they could do, but needed time.

The process took years only because they had other patients to take care of that had one of the same accidents. She couldn't get immediate treatment, and she was placed on the side multiple times after working at her one step at a time.

I went 4 years without seeing her. 3 years ago, the hospital was noticing my lack of payments and kept me from seeing her in order to push me to keep paying more, but it was hard on me.

I know from Miss Black that my little one is still alive and well, and the time possessing surgery was done long ago. The only reason why she's still in the hospital is because she's been in a coma, recovering from the pain and suffering. I might not be able to take her back with me now, but I know for sure I want to start a new life with her... Outside of Kanto.

"Are you ready to see her?" She asked me. I gulped, not knowing if I was ready at the moment. I needed some time before looking at her sleeping on her bed.

"No..." she nodded and handed me a piece of paper.

"That young boy gave this to me underneath his trainer card" I took the piece confused and read through it.

"She won't accept it, but you will" I read the sentence underneath it "Erica is in this room" the room number was placed underneath. I think it'll be best if I see her before I see my little one, just so I can make sure she's okay and I can take my time to get ready to see my little one again.

"I think I'm going to look for someone I brought here. Do you mind?" Miss Black shook her head.

"No I don't. I'll wait for you outside the room" we made it to the floor a few down below and found Erica's room. I wasn't as nervous, since I hardly knew the girl, but I felt bad for what happened and took responsibility since she came to me in dying need of help, terrified and alone in an unknown place.

I knocked a few times and was greeted with the door opening, showing one of the flower girls seeing me and smiled.

"Hey! It's you!" She let me into the room where Erica was playing with her Gloom sitting on her lap. She looked up and smiled at my presence.

"Oh! Good morning, V! I'm so happy to see you!" I smiled and walked up to her bed.

"How are you feeling?"

"I have a pounding headache, but thanks to Gloom here, I feel a lot better. I don't believe in pain killers" I nodded and sat beside her "Thank you so much for the other night. I don't remember much of what happened, but I remember you staying with me and making sure I felt safe" she gave a close eyed smile "I'm truly grateful!" I smiled.

"No problem. I'm just glad you're okay. Has your other friends came to visit?"

"They informed me that they will be coming by in the afternoon. Blue came earlier in the morning" I nodded "He told me Red was with you. Are you and Red friends?" I blushed.

"We happen to run into each other down stairs... He had something to do and couldn't come. I don't know. He might come later, who knows" she giggled.

"I'm happy to hear it. I really hope he had a good time. He was missing for most of the night, and even if I'm not into clubs or anything, I came for him. He's a really good friend, even if he doesn't talk much" I nodded, thinking about earlier "He's quite mysterious and you don't know what he really wants. It's why Blue pushes him all the time and threw the party in a location he probably didn't even care about. I can see you two becoming friends. You are more straight forward and logical when it comes to your cool attitude" cool? Never heard my attitude being called cool before "You're easy to talk to, so I'm sure you'll be able to make him talk" Yeah, totally...

"Sorry! I'm rambling about random things. Thank you so much for visiting me. I'm all better now thanks to you. If you weren't you, something bad could've happened to me and I wouldn't be able to see the day when I can still be alive and healthy. I'm most grateful to you" I smiled and got back on my feet.

"No need to thank me... I just don't like seeing others suffer in any way" she nodded happily "I better get going... Get back home safe, okay?"

"Thank you for everything last night. I had fun!" I smiled and walked out, approaching Miss Black on her phone.

"Am I keeping you from something?" She looked back at me.

"I had a early brunch date, but I told him it has to wait"

"Don't worry about it. I'll can go on my own" she shook her head.

"The people in this building haven't gotten the memo that you are now able to roam here, so I have to stay with you. Besides, I want to be there for the moment you see your Pokémon again. It's all I've been waiting for" I sighed with a smile "I'm going to be here for the daughter of my sister"

"You make it seem like we have close relations"

"Well, you never let me into your life. What can I do? Even if I'm your aunt, you still call me by my last name like I'm someone you're not familiar with"

"Don't get me wrong. I just went into the habit of being independent, but now that my life is going to turn upside right again, I might as well call you Auntie again" she smiled, following me happily to the elevators.

"I can't ask for anything better" I had distant myself from my only living family for the purpose of keeping her from getting involved with my problems. Like everyone else I refused, I didn't take her help and always got mad when getting offered. I have my own personal reasons why I didn't want help, but the other reason was solely just because I didn't want the bad people who took advantage of me doing anything to those who I was close with.

It's still a bit risky to take my own aunt into my life again, since these people and my boss are still around. I'll have to work myself up to leave this place and make sure the people I care about make no relations to me when I part for the sake of their safety.

We were finally in front of the door my little one was staying in. I was shaking, but I had to set some things straight now that I'm able to be with her again.

"Auntie..." I spoke "Like I told you before, I don't want you claiming me as your niece. Not yet at least. I know we took a fast approach, but I still have things to do before that happens" I could feel the disappointment she was holding "this money I have on me is enough to get me to a new place. It might not be enough to make me live comfortably, but I will work to make my name livable" I looked back at her "It won't be long... Just trust in me"

"I have no reason to doubt you" I smiled and entered the room. My heart dropped when seeing my little one sleeping in the bed with wires connected everywhere on it's tiny body.

"Pichu!" I gasped, running towards the bed to see her up close. She remained asleep even if I called out to her "My little one..." I frowned, taking her small hand "I can't imagine the state you'll be in when you wake up"

"I had got the liberty to speak to the doctor about her condition" Auntie said "I thought it was best if you didn't find out until you came. It would save you the stress of wanting to see her sooner than you could" I bit my lips to control myself.

"I-Is it bad..?" She looked as she didn't know how to describe it.

"Because of what she went through, she won't be able to evolve" I looked back at Pichu "If she wakes up, in the doctors words, 'she probably won't be able to defend herself or her trainer' which means she may not be able to have any attack moves or any of the other things that make a Pokémon, them" I looked down at Pichu's little hands.

"That's alright... She doesn't need to fight. I'll be fighting my own battles. I will protect her" I slowly let go of her hand "I'll be back tomorrow to check on her" I took out my phone from my wallet, which was thin enough to fit, but was bulky in where I stored it, and answered who ever was calling me.

"Hello?" I answered, not bothering to see the caller I.D.

"V!" Lilly yelled out, sounding stressed.

"Lilly? What's up? What's going on?"

"Might want to come to the club right now. It's urgent!" I sighed and agreed to meet her there and hung up.

"See you later, Auntie. Hopefully you'll make it to your date" she waved her hand playfully.

"He won't be able to resist" I chuckled softly and headed back to the club tiredly. Even if I don't feel all that sick anymore, I haven't slept in who knows how long. Once I'm done with whatever I'm going to do, I'm going back home! I refuse to work another minute!

As soon as I got to the club, I saw police cars surrounding the place. I walked pass the caution tape and approached the girls and bouncers looking at what was going on.

"Lilly" I called out. Lilly looked back at me and brought me close to her so we could look at the police trying to search every inch of the building for something "What's going on..?"

"We're done" Kathy told everyone. We looked at her staring at the building with her day time uniform. Which was the same outfit Sabrina's employees were wearing last night.

"What did you say?" Tammy asked, suspiciously "What do you know, Kat?"

"I had a vision of police men coming here in the day time. I didn't think much of it because it was during the day and it was probably some person who snuck in or something" Kathy explained.

"When did you get this vision?" Maria asked. Kathy thought for a moment.

"A few days ago" I looked around and spotted Aaron talking to one of the police officers before he was dismissed. He came over to us in a jog.

"What's going on?" One of the bouncers asked.

"I came in earlier in the morning to clean the mess from yesterday, since I don't like doing it that same night the people leave. Anyway, I was taking out the trash and was asked by a cop if my boss was anywhere where they can talk to him. I told them he was in his office. They're looking for him right now, apparently" I squeezed my fist, feeling off about this.

"Is he in trouble? There's so many cops here" Nikki said.

"Did you see the boss getting arrested in your vision?" Robin asked Kathy. Kathy nodded and crossed her arms to think back on something.

"Yeah..." she sighed "My powers aren't strong enough to know what happened before all this happened, but it looks like we'll be out of the job"

"That sucks" Sunny pouted "Oh well, it's not like it'll be hard looking for a job"

"I suppose..." Olivia shrugged. Lilly searched my face for something, a sort of emotion she was expecting, but my face was solid and blank. I wasn't worried about a job right now... I was just confused on why this happened so suddenly.

"Your sickness you've been avoiding before had made you express your true feelings about the man they are searching for" we all looked back at Sabrina staring at us from behind the yellow tape.

"Boss?" Kathy said.

"What are you..?" I responded, confused "What do you know about this?" Sabrina closed her eyes.

"You spend your time with Red this morning and the two of you got to know each other very well. For this, I am happy that you got along with him" I blushed "as you know, he's a very powerful trainer who is known to be the legendary trainer who defeated Team Rocket by himself with his Pokémon. He had gain the ability to look through official police reports on anything that has to do with Team Rocket. I caught him before the act of him heading to the police station to search for statements. He told me to tell you not to worry" I flinched, slowly starting to cry again "I saw him doing this a month prior. My visions state perfect details, and he was keen on making sure you won't even be involved with them again. Your boss was a former Team Rocket grunt who did off duty work in kidnapping girls and force them to do hard labor with no money and if they told anyone, something precious of theirs will be threatened" I cupped my mouth and squatted down, wanting to scream so bad...

"This didn't take him long to figure out. He might be a quiet boy, but he makes sure the people he care about don't suffer" she sighed "I'm sorry you went through so much, Valerie" everyone looked at me pulling on my hair.

"V..?" Lilly sobbed "Is that what you've been going through..?" She kneeled down to hold me in her arms "I'm so sorry..." I shut my eyes and slightly tugged on her shirt.

"They're on the way out with the boss" One of the bouncers said. We all quickly turned to see Ronan being carried out by three police men. Everyone looked like they were going to snap and go after him before I jumped up and marched my way towards him, lifting my fist and threw it onto his cheek as hard as I could. The police kept him from flying off.

"Everything you put me through... I want it back!" I shouted "I worked so hard for you for all these years and not once had I seen the paycheck I deserved! You kept me from my Pokémon and threatened her life if I didn't work for you! I was lucky enough to finally have her back and it's no thanks to you!" I grabbed his shirt. He didn't look at me in the eyes "You owe me so much money! I will make sure you suffer the same way I did!" I punched him again and stepped back so the police can take him away "You've always been disgusting... I hope you burn" not a word was said when he was taken away. I bit my lips and cried upwards to the gray sky, finally relieved everything was over. Everyone came over to give their support and held me close.

"What did I do to deserve so many good people..?" I sobbed. Honestly... How did I get so lucky? Everyone... Red...

This moment is the end of her horrible life. I couldn't help but be happy that she gets to live a life she deserves thanks to Red. When will he show up again and when will they reunite again?
