Zorua jumped in the air and pounded on the floor, releasing darkness trailing at Ariana and threw her off balance. I quickly shoved Zorua in the bag and had Clefairy be the lead. Ariana groaned and sat up.

"You... You're as aggressive as your trainer, hitting a person instead of another Pokémon" Ariana glared at Zorua still growling at her. I held my cheek while Ariana continued glaring at me as she sat up "You, young lady, I didn't say anything before, but are you Elizabeth's daughter?" I flinched "You are, aren't you?" She huffed "I will not stand here and let you abuse my employees, almost killing them like you did that day. I really have to ask, does this aggressive run in the family?"

"Excuse me?" I glared "What do you know about my mom?" She crossed her arms.

"It wouldn't be the first time someone tried killing our team members. Over two decades ago, Elizabeth got aggressive and almost killed one of our members" my blood dropped "I can understand why she got like that though, since we took her away from her family. You look a lot like her, and when I noticed you did, I put together those pieces. It's a shame Petrel had to go through the same thing our leader today had to go through" she looked at the elevator "Beyond that elevator is our leader. He's in charge until we can find a way to find Giovanni and bring him back home" she looked back at me "The only difference between you and her was that she left scars"

"My mom..?" auntie told me my mom was much more aggressive than auntie was, but I can't say how aggressive I was compared to my mom. She left scars?

"Giovanni had fancied her when they were still young. This was before Giovanni created the organization. He had always tried to take her for himself, but she always refused. She got herself a lover, and they constantly moved until we couldn't find them anymore. It wasn't until years later that we spotted her shopping and grabbed her when we had the chance. She stayed in our base for about a year or longer, and finally escaped. We again couldn't find her anymore and that was the end of the search... We heard from the news that she died in a mysterious fire and her daughter we didn't know about had gone missing" I squeezed my hands "We got others to search for you and keep you tamed until Giovanni could meet you in person and adopt you"

"A-Adopt me?" What is this?

"Yes. Believe it or not, he wanted you as his daughter. If he couldn't have Elizabeth, he might as well take you as his daughter so you can help run the organization, since you were older"

"Older? What is that suppose to mean?" She huffed.

"I am Giovanni's sister from another father. I know everything he planned and I stood by his side when he wanted you with him, but unfortunately the team was disbanded and he had to leave, so you had to stay with the members who were asked to take care of you"

"Take care of me?! I starved, I've been abused, I've been robbed from my virginity at a very very young age!" I glared hard and angrily. Ariana gulped and tried not looking phased from the look "If that's your idea of being taken care of, SCREW YOU! I will never forgive Giovanni for what he put me and my family through! I will take down this organization if it's the last thing I do!" My hands were pulsing to grab something. She noticed and moved to the side.

"If you must, though may not succeed, go ahead and face our leader. He won't go easy on you like I'm doing right now" I kept an eye on her while pressing on the elevator doors until they opened. She didn't look at me at all as the elevator doors closed when I went in.

"What is that all about..?" I glared at my shaking hands "Giovanni wanted to adopt me..? What kind of bull crap is that?!" My Pokémon frowned at me "I can admit, it may not have been his fault that I was abused and mistreated by those guys, but still... He built an army of people like them. He kidnapped my mom and kept her all because he fancied her. How disgusting" I huffed myself "Stay calm... Stay calm... I'll have enough time to let out my anger when I battle the man I'll see in a bit; the guy that my mom supposedly tried killing and left scars"

I pet Zorua's head "Thank you for defending me back there, but we don't attack humans with special attacks. If anyone were to harm me, I'd only appreciate if you defend me without completely  damaging them" She cried and nodded.

The elevator stopped and we made it up to a room with windows in all directions with build in telescopes. There stood a guy across the room and I didn't know how to feel about the whole thing. Not too long ago I was calm and defeating Team Rocket easily without snapping. Then Ariana came and told me all this random stuff that's got my head all jumbled, and now I'm going to meet the guy who will possibly mistake me for my mom.

I faced his back, but I didn't have to courage to speak first. I was still thinking about all the things that were just shot at me.

"So" he spoke first, looking at me from the reflection of the glass "You're Eliza's daughter" he narrowed his eyes "Nice to meet you. My name is Archer. If Ariana didn't tell me what happened, I would had figured you were her daughter anyways. You... look just like her" he turned to look at me "same hair and all..." He snorted "I'm not surprised that you have been the one messing with our plans. You have that look in your eyes that sought revenge on those who wronged you. Eliza had the same look" he looked at the window again "You must be quite the trainer if you got this far..."

"You read me like a book" I snorted "But I didn't make my intentions hard to understand" he unbuttoned his shirt that was buttoned all the way to his neck and let himself loose. His neck had permanent claw marks on them that looked like were tugged on, making his scarring large and folded deeply.

"We intend to take over this radio tower and officially announce our comeback" he said "that should bring our boss Giovanni back from his solitary training" solitary training? "I'll admit. I feel bad about all that you've been through and what Petrel and the others did to you, but you can reassure when Giovanni comes back, you'll be crowned as the most respected person in Team Rocket beside him. The wait has come, we are going to regain our former glory..."

"Do you really think I'll surrender to you..?"

"A main reason why we needed to hunt you down was to take over Team Rocket while Giovanni was away, but since you were being stubborn, I took the lead and made the plans"

"I'm not even his blood relative! Why would I give myself to your gang after all I've been through!?"

"That was under the intention of those members. Nobody asked to treat you that way. You were suppose to be treated with respect. If they did as they were supposed to, I only wonder how Team Rocket would had been"

"You took my mom away from me back then... I'll never forget the horrid face she held when coming home and finally reunite with us. I will never forget the story she told. Even if you did respected me, you didn't respect my mom" I pointed at him "You deserve those scars for forcing her into a life she didn't want!" He glared.

"Fine, if you're going to be that way after I was at least trying to make you understand, I will not allow you to interfere with our meticulous plans!" Clefairy stood in front of me as he send out a Houndoom.

As we speak, Clefairy was not strong enough to take on his Pokémon. She struggled to stand while the Houndoom was too fast for her. I didn't know how to respond which such speed.

"Hang in there, Clefairy!" I frowned. Even if I switched out, even Togekiss wouldn't be able to do anything in this tight area and Meganium isn't very fast to begin with.

"Zo!" Zorua barked after digging in my bag for something and held something in her mouth. I looked at her throwing a particular stone and it landed by Clefairy's feet. She looked at it surprised before quickly taking it and hugged it, making her glow and evolve into a new Pokémon.

"No way!" I gasped "You evolved!"

"Clef! Able!" Clefable cheered and looked strong enough to take the Houndoom again. Archer smacked his lips together.

"We can't have you getting in the way before news of our resurgence reaches Giovanni!" He yelled. Clefable teleported and reached Houndoom's back, catching all of us by surprised.

It seemed that she learned teleportation through evolving. She relied on it to keep away from Houndoom's speed and attacked every time I yelled out something. Archer grew more timid as the battle kept going on and on with his Pokémon just barely hanging on to stand.

"No..." Archer returned his Pokémon before we could finish the battle "Forgive me, Giovanni!" He kneeled down and placed his forehead on the floor "How can this be..? I can't be up to the task. I have no choice" he sat up and stared at me looking down at him "Like Giovanni has done before me, I will disband Team Rocket here today" my eyes widened.

"So simply?" He furrowed his brows.

"Simply? You've defeated all of us! Can you dare say it was a simple task? You've went this long trying to defeat us and this is what you have in response?" He stood up, holding his neck "Your mother had wish for our doom long ago, and she got her wish before you were needed to come and see Giovanni. We disbanded because of a trainer three years ago, and right when we tried coming back, Eliza's wish stayed alive through her daughter" he snorted and turned his back to me "I can't say we'll try to get our ways back, but I know you'll be right there to defeat us again"

"Before you leave" he glanced at me "I want to ask something. I was told that it wasn't Giovanni's intention to have me suffer in the hands of those who were ordered to take care of me. He only wanted me because I was my mom's daughter, but why bother? Did he really fancied her that much to think her daughter would fit to rule a gang? What did she do in TR's hands when she was away from us?" I walked up to his face "Was... There a baby involved?" He smirked and walked away.

"Sorry, but I'm not qualified to answer that question. If Ariana didn't tell you, why would I?" He left through the elevator. I sighed and looked out the window at the dark sky. I have always thought something to myself, but I do not want to say it out loud until I get a confirmation.

"Because I was the oldest..." I took out the picture of my mom and the red haired baby in her hands "I can't take any more surprises... I just have to know" I looked down "Is he..?"

"Young lady!" I looked back to see the director rushing over to me "You did it! You defeated Team Rocket!" He shook my hand "Thank you!" I forced a smile and put away the picture "your courageous actions have saved Pokémon nationwide"

"It was no big deal" I chuckled. Zorua jumped out my bag and jumped on his leg in celebration.

"Your Pokémon are very cheerful" The director laughed, playing with Zorua and Pichu "Team Rocket has disappeared from Goldenrod. Everyone was let go from the buildings and are free to go home now. It's all because of your hard work" I bowed to the man.

"Thank you for acknowledging. I'm glad everything is back the way it should be" I waved my hand "I must be going now" I left out the radio tower after thanking a bunch of grateful people continuing to give me their gratitude as I was exiting the building. The night was dark and people walked through the streets like what just happened didn't happen.

"They're really gone" I looked around "Team Rocket is taken care of, just like that" After so long of chasing after them, it feels unreal that it's all over "I finally defeated them, which means now I can relax. Since it's all over, Let's continue our journey now where we left off in Mahogany town. We still got things to take care of" I looked at the crowd and send out Togekiss "Time to fly" I returned my Pokémon and headed back to Mahogany to head to the route I originally was going to head to before I had Lance take me home.

I headed towards an ice path that kinda caught me off guard. The most I could put on was a long sleeve shirt, pants, and a scarf, but it was below freezing that I could hardly take a step forward.

"Are we really this up north..?" I asked, rubbing my arms. Now I can say I was really cold, but I wasn't freezing. My body temperature was always higher than the average person. Anyone in my family of the Zoe bloodline goes through the odd temperatures that baffle doctors to think we have fevers or close to getting one, but it's not even close to the truth.

We rarely have fevers and may only have them on a hot summer day. We mostly work in hospitals where it is always cold and because of this weird thing with my body, I was always annoyed whenever I go through routes for a long time without showers.

A winters day in snow is a beautiful temperature for me, but since I'm in a cave that's covered in ICE, I'm only really cold, and not freezing.

"I didn't think there would be a place like this that's not connected to Mount Silver" I said, looking around and trying not to fall on the thin ice below me "I hope I'm going down the right path..." I took a deep breath and kept walking the straight path, passing by a few trainers who kept asking for battles.

"Does it look like I'm qualified to battle you!?" I snapped at all of them and continued going forward saying the same thing to each trainer over and over again. The farther I walked, the less amount of trainers I've seen. It was just quiet from then on and I actually enjoyed my peace and quiet for a moment before spotting a few Pokémon staring at a pond of water with thin ice on top.
