"It's refreshing to have couches now! This room looks less lonely!" Auntie said while laying down on our new couches she ordered from a magazine "So comfy!"

"I said I can pay for them" I said, laying on one too "They are comfy"

"I told you I'll take care of things until you can settle down. The money you received from court is something you should spend wisely. Worry about what you need instead of worrying about this house. I'll hand you the ownership when you're ready and have a job"

"What if I don't get a job and rely on a husband?" I joked, playing with Cleffa and Togetic on my lap.

"That'll be fun" auntie giggled "Whoever you end up with will have to pay for everything. You'll be lucky to get yourself one of those. Red is the champion after all" I froze "I'm sure he'll be able to provide"

"A-Auntie!" I sat up "I-I don't plan on marrying him!"

"Hm? Why not?" I played with my fingers, feeling shy.

"I don't expect him to remember me or anything, so the most I can do is just give him the money I owe and my gratitude. That's all" she sat up to face me.

"And if there's a chance he does remember you?" I looked down "It doesn't take a professional to know that you've fallen in love with him. There's nothing wrong with it. If you want something to work, you have to go for it" the most important rule in a one night stand that was obvious to me, though not to some that I slept with, is to never catch feelings for them. I certainly broke that rule... but I didn't think it would come to that!

"I think I'll wait for it" I sighed "he doesn't have time for me. He's always training" she stood up to sit next to me "I'll focus on my own path"

"Nothing wrong with settling down with someone you love at the end. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, but you have to at least try. You can't just decide his feelings for him. He wouldn't help you with something so serious for nothing"

"Y-Yeah... Maybe"

"I mean... My fiancé was always training too and always going places without giving himself a break. I met him once and I went for it!" She pumped her fists "Because of me, he calmed his traveled and smiled a lot more!" She smiled big "He was such a serious person!" She waved her hands "You have no idea! I can't wait for you to meet him! He's so cool!"

"At least tell me his name!" She winked, shaking her finger "Fine" I stood up "I think it's about time for me to go back on a journey. Pichu had gotten better since she's gotten sick" auntie stood up and went to pick up the egg she brought for me.

"I trust you'll take care of yourself and this" I took the egg and smiled at the warmth "I know you'll do good out there. I trust you won't overdose on these again?" She handed me the pill bottle. I stared at what was left and shook my head.

"I don't need it. I have the tea we had earlier" she nodded and put it away.

"Good girl" I picked up my packed bag with clean clothes and supplies and placed my egg inside "Where you heading off to next?" I looked at my map.

"I haven't been to Mahogany town yet, and it's pretty close from here, so I'll go there"

"Great" she walked me to the door "It's like you're leaving so suddenly, but you already told me when you plan on leaving"

"When will you be leaving?" She shrugged.

"Whenever I'm done with a job here. Who even knows. The medical field doesn't really need me to help them, but in our name, we are pretty much luxury. We make the job easier and get things done better. They can do it, but you know"  I nodded.

"I know what you mean. I had to tell a farmer to ignore his Pokémon in the barn because she was trying to give birth by herself. The things we do" I shook my head "Well, I'm off. Say bye to everyone" Cleffa, Togetic, and Meganium, who evolved from Bayleef during training the other day, cried out their goodbyes to Auntie while Pichu was in my bag with the egg, only having enough energy to wave.

I was on my way back to the route where the path I'm heading to was, but got stopped by Elm waving around like a Mankey.

"Valerie!" He yelled out. I turned to him running towards me "Wow! Are these your Pokémon?" I looked at my Pokémon and smiled.

"Yes they are"

"And is this the egg I asked you to hatch?" He adjusted his glasses to observe Togetic floating by me. She looked at him confused and flew to hide behind my shoulders "You evolved her, even the Chikorita I gave you!" He pet Meganium's head "That's great to see!" Elm chuckled when Meganium cooed at his shoulder "Aside from meeting your Pokémon, I wanted to ask you about the Pokédex" I snorted, amused that I never told him I didn't take it.

"I let Gold take care of it" I waved my hand "He has more time in his hands than I do. I trusted him to fill it up instead"

"More time in his hands? Not that I really mind him keeping it, why do you not have time?" Did I not tell him?

"Can I really say anything without worrying you?" I shook my head "I'll let you know after I'm done. Besides, for a girl that's going on a Pokémon journey at 19? Can you expect anything else?"

"I-I guess not. Listen, aside from seeing how you were doing, Have you seen Gold anywhere?"

"No?" He started to looked worried.

"He hasn't answered any of my calls. His mom can't even get a hold of him" I looked at my Pokégear, finding it odd that he doesn't answer his own mom. I haven't spoke to him in who knows how long.

"I'll look into it!" I waved.

"Thanks! Please be careful!" While I'm on my way to the city, I might as well spam his phone to see if he'll pick up. I had messaged him the other day saying I'll be in NewBark town for a few days, but I just noticed he didn't reply.

The road towards Mahogany Town was quite subtle. I can't really describe it, but all I could say was that I somehow found myself in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't even find a sign anywhere in sight. It's as if I've found myself outside the main road and bounced off the map, perhaps... I couldn't really tell.

"There's no signal out here..." I said to myself with Cleffa on my head and Togetic floating around. I looked up and spotted a cave a few miles from where I stood "That could be the Dark cave that's labeled on my map. I had heard from some passerby's that it connects to two other cave mouths, which means there would be an exit... Can I really trust that system?" I looked back at my Pokégear "I don't have signal now, and if I enter a cave, there will be a good chance I'll stay lost" there's got to be a better place to head to.

"Pe" Pichu yawned in my bag, trying to crawl out. I kept her in there, knowing she was in no condition to roam around when she's been sleepy lately.

"No, Pichu. You stay in there" she moved my hand and jumped out my bag, landing on her face. She moved too fast before I had the chance to help her, and she ran towards the cave "No! Pichu!" I returned my Pokémon and hurried to catch her, using her own Pokéball to bring her back, but she dodged every red beam "Pichu!" She entered the cave. I groaned and followed after her, entering the black void of darkness.

"Pichu!" I whined "It's too dark in here! You might be able to see in the dark, but what about me?!" I took out a flashlight from my bag and flashed it around me "Good thing I have this handy" I looked at the map on my Pokégear "which cave is this? I don't even know where I am on the map!" There are three visible caves on the main map, but I wasn't on the main road, so I must've entered through an unknown cave "Great..." I facepalmed "Now What?"

"Picha!" Pichu yelled out. I flashed my light towards her direction and saw her watching me.

"Pichu, we need to go. It's not too late to get back to the exit" she shook her head "I know you want to navigate, but you're still not well. You begged me to start the journey again, and I listened only because you promised you'll stay in the bag. Why aren't you listening to me?" She pointed beside her.

"Pe! Pichi!" I guess her navigating skills are working better than her sense of listening to her trainer wanting to protect her from her sudden illness. Am I being over protective? Maybe, but that's only because her cheeks continues to spark every so often, so I can't risk her passing out like she's been doing back home.

"What is it?" She ran off again. I kept the flashlight on her so I could stay on her trail without losing her. She had fallen a few times, feeling too weak to continue running. She wouldn't let me help her. She got back up and kept on going.

"I wish I knew what she wanted..." I began to run again, but stopped when hearing a Pokéball pop open and release Cleffa "Cleffa? What are you doing?" She began bouncing with Pichu's running. She had bounced like she normally would like she was on the moon or something, but she seemed as eager as Pichu was to find whatever they wanted to look for.

There was no telling how long I've been in this cave. I suppose it's been a few hours, maybe, but from how long I've been on this journey, I've gotten use to walking too much without noticing how much time as passed. Pichu had ran much more than I've ever seen her do, and she kept falling and passing out over and over. Because we've gotten too far, I let her rest in my arms and started following Cleffa taking the lead. What are my Pokémon looking for..?

For as long as I was jogging through this cave with no complications, I'm surprised I didn't run to anyone or any Pokémon. This cave was as dark as night with a new moon. It was very quiet and if it wasn't for this flashlight and my growling stomach, I would have thought I was walking into my own death road.

"How long is this going to take..." I stopped walking. Cleffa stopped and looked at me "We've been walking and running over and over without stopping. I'm hungry and I'm pretty sure your teammates are hungry too. Where are you too aiming to go?" Pichu and Cleffa looked at each other before Cleffa went off on her own again.

I groaned and followed her again, only this time she entered a small cave opening, which I had to bend down and crawl into "The things I do..." I shook my head, using my knees to crawl into the small space leading to corner to corner until there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Cleffa gasped before I could see anything and hopped into the light. I crawled further and got back on my feet to look at the magnificent sight I've ever laid my eyes on.

There had stood a small room that was surrounded by a sparkly pond that shined with the light of the moon. Everything in the cave was glowing, including the different colored stones on the walls, and the glorious Suicune standing on the glowing crystal like rock in the middle of the room.

Cleffa cheered at the sight of the moon and started skipping around the crystal rock. I set Pichu down and slowly walked to the Suicune without getting to close to scare it off.

"This is where my Pokémon was leading me too... How could they possibly know about it?" I stared at the Suicune keeping its eyes on me "Did you call them?" Suicune looked up at the sky. I looked at Cleffa skipping around happily around the rock "Well... I can understand why Cleffa came here, but why Pichu? She's half blind and can barely hear"

"Pe!" Pichu waved her arms at me, then pointed at Suicune.

"So that's it then, Suicune lead you here?" Pichu nodded proudly "I'm surprised you came this far from its call" I pet her head "You are very clever" I stood up to face Suicune a little closer "Suicune... You saved me twice, and for being a legendary, I don't really know what that means. I've been blessed by the many things that have wanted and have helped me... I can't understand why it's all happening. Could you... perhaps know?" Suicune leaned its head to point at my bag. I set it down and dug inside.

"Is there something in here that catches your interest?" Pichu helped me look pass the egg and picked up the box I have my feather stored in "The Rainbow feather. I've had this since I was really little. I can't really believe this is the reason why I've been having good luck" I looked back up and almost jumped when seeing Suicune standing much closer to me "W-What is it..?"

In a brief of silence, singing could later be heard from another room. I looked to the side to spot Clefairy's hopping into the room. Cleffa gasped happily and watched them starting to dance around the crystal rock and joined them.

"This must be some moon ceremony" I looked back at Suicune staring at the bunch of pink Pokémon playing around and having a good time "I can never tell what you see in me, but you must be just like all those people who see something in me and just want to help out" I smiled "You're a legendary Pokémon. You're cautious around people... but for some reason I'm alright in your book" I smiled "I was cautious too..." I sat down "But you have a good reason, I was just scared" I pet Pichu's head "I was scared to lose the only thing I cared about. Now that I have her back in my life, I'm free" I smiled at Cleffa dancing around "I don't have to be so scared anymore. If you haven't saved me, I couldn't take care of her or the organization I'm trying take down. I appreciate you thinking of me" I smiled at Suicune "I'll make sure you won't regret letting me be around you. It's an honor to just sit with you now" Suicune bumped my knee and used the rock to jump into the open hole in the ceiling and disappeared into the moonlight. I laid down and enjoyed the sweet songs the Clefairy's were singing.

"I guess I'll never know why I got good lucky" I looked at the rainbow feather "Not sure if this is really the case, since it was in the old burned house, but who is there to say that it's the reason why I got out alive" I then frowned "or the reason why my life was like this" I put it away and looked back at the Clefairys "My life is just a confusing hole" Cleffa jumped down to face me "Hey Cleffa, having fun?" She cheered "This isn't bad of a place. Maybe we can spend the night here until.." Cleffa slowly started glowing along with the Clefairys "C-Cleffa..?"

Her form started growing along with the Clefairys, which they grew to a much larger Pokémon. My Cleffa evolved into what they left off. I cupped my mouth, feeling my eyes start to water.

"You evolved..." Pichu cheered and jumped up and down with my Clefairy while holding hands "And here I thought you had a birth defect that'll keep you so small... I'm so glad you got to evolve!" I hugged her tightly "This is so great! Nothing is stopping you and Togetic from evolving further" many of the Clefables were actually holding different kinds of stones in their hands of the ones I've heard of, starting from a Water-stone and ending with a Dawn stone.

"That's a lot of stones..." I sat against the rock wall and took out my new egg to place on my lap "I wonder if you'll be a Pokémon that'll evolve with a stone" I smiled "Can't think about that now. You have to focus on being born first!" I stroked its shell and looked up at the moon "I still have 3 fighters. I need to get 3 more soon" I looked back at Clefairy and Pichu dancing around, so I send everyone else out so they can enjoy themselves while I set out some berries I packed for them. We better be fueled up for tomorrow... Who knows what may happen.
