The Next Day...

LOGAN'S P.O.V.

Thanks to Detective Yoshida, I was able to be released from the hospital this morning.

As he drives, with me sitting in the passengers seat, a person's voice suddenly comes through the radio.

"All units, all units! There's been a confirmed report from Detective James Johnson that there's illegal Pokemon battling in a building nearby the harbor! All available units head directly to the harbor!", the voice on the radio says.

I look at Detective Yoshida.

"You ready Logan?", he asks.

I nod.

"I'm ready.", I say.

Detective Yoshida starts to drive faster as we speed towards the harbor.

We reach the harbor about five minutes later, and I realize that we're the first ones on scene.

As we get out of the police cruiser, I see the man with the hat, along with, his Sylveon, another man, a Pikachu, and surprisingly, a Mew.

"So, should we call it a night?", the man asks.

"Yeah. We can pick up where we left off tomorrow morning.", the man with the hat says.

"Pika! Pikachu!", the Pikachu says.

"We won't. I just think we should rest for a bit.", the man says to the Pikachu.

"I agree. We can't focus on this case if we're all exhausted.", the man with a hat says.

'Did those two just understand that Pikachu?!', I think.

The Pikachu nods at the man with a hat.

"Pika! Pikachu!", the Pikachu says.

"Sounds good to me.", the man with a hat says.

The five of them go separate ways, with the man and the Pikachu going one way, and the man with a hat, his Sylveon, and the Mew, going the other way.

"Logan! Pay attention!", Detective Yoshida says, snapping me out of my slight daze.

I look at him, and nod.

"Right. Sorry.", I say.

"It's alright. Now come on.", Detective Yoshida says.

The two of us hurry into the building.
