LOGAN'S P.O.V.

I walk towards the room at the very end of the hallway, and as I start to enter the room, I see that there's a man, and a young lady, in there, talking to each other about something.

I stop, standing in the doorway, and they look at me.

The lady walks over to me, and she holds out her right hand towards me, a friendly smile on her face.

"My name's Lucy Stevens. It's nice to meet you.", she says.

I shake her hand, giving her a courteous nod.

"I'm Logan Mitchell.", I say.

We let go of each other, and Lucy looks back at the man.

"I'll talk to you another time Detective Yoshida.", Lucy says.

She then walks out of the room.

"Please, have a seat Mr. Mitchell.", the detective says.

I walk into the room, and take a seat in front of his desk.

"It's good to know that you want to join our police force. You passed all of your exams at the academy with flying colors. So, it is with great honor, that I present to you, your badge.", Detective Yoshida says.

He pulls out a shining golden badge, and he slides it over to me across his desk.

I take the badge, and examine it closely, a smile spreading across my face.

I look at Detective Yoshida, and see that, he too, is smiling.

"Welcome to the team, Officer Mitchell.", he says.

"Thank you sir.", I say, joy in my voice.

He nods, then pulls out something else.

It's a folder with a big red stamp that reads, 'Classified', on it.

He slides it over to me, and I take the folder, opening it.

"Your first assignment, is to confirm any suspicious activity nearby the harbor, where we've received multiple reports of illegal Pokemon battling. But you're only to confirm it. Which means, do NOT engage in meddling with these people, because if you do, it might alert them to the possibility of them being watched. Is that understood?", Detective Yoshida says.

I look up from the folder, and at him, nodding.

"Understood Detective.", I say.

He nods.

"Good. Your uniform is on the second floor at the first door to the right. Once your dressed, get into your assigned police cruiser, and head towards the harbor.", he explains.

He hands me the keys to my police cruiser, and I take them.

I get up, the classified folder in my left hand.

"Remember Logan, do NOT engage. Only observe, and confirm the reports of illegal Pokemon battles.", Detective Yoshida says.

I nod, and walk out of his office.
