When I got up this morning,it was my 10th birthday and I was ready to get my first Pokemon. I hurried to the kitchen, giving my father a swift kiss on the cheek before running out the door. "Good luck!" He called after me as I grabbed my bag.

Then I ran into a blond girl, she had a green hat on, it matched her emerald green eyes through her red glasses. "Hello, I'm looking for Emma, Hung, and Tyler are they around here somewhere?" She ask obvious confused and a little flustered.

"I'm Emma, and Tyler and Hung should be around here somewhere." I said, moving my bright blond hair away from my face as I glanced around for a moment.

"Oh, let's go find them, I want to give all of you Pokemon to raise." She said patting her bag before walking off. She follows her around town, eventually they found my brown haired twin brother and his black-haired best friend.

"There you two are! Get over here if you want to get a Pokemon or not?" Emma called to her sibling and Hung encouraging them to come closer. Once they were close enough she took out three pokeballs and let all the Pokemon out. There was a Oshawott, Snivy and a Shinx.

"Where's the Tepig?" My brother asked confused as he looked for the pokemon he had set his heart on. Emma could see confusion and disappointment in his eyes.

"He ran away last week, sorry...so I grabbed a Shinx to replace it..." The girl, Emma realize she never asked for her name and felt a little bad.

"I'll have Shinx!" I said excitedly, looking at the electric type glossy blue and black pelt, it's red eyes making contact with my stormy blue ones."So you chose me?" She asked getting on her knees holding her hand out to him.

He sniffed my hand before softly nibbling on it.

"I think he likes you." Bianca said smiling. "Oh! and here are you're pokedexes."She said handing one to each of us

"I'll name him Thunder." I said picking him up. He smiled before crawled up onto my shoulders than to my head after that. Smiling I grabbed his pokeball from the strange girl who gave him to me before rushing off into route 19.
