Note: Celeste was conceptualized before I found out about NSR but yes, she does share a lot of traits with a certain DJ from that game

The third member of the Elite Four and an expert on Cosmic Types.

Celeste is the mother of Eartha and Sten and Sterling's ex wife. She is known for her prude and prideful attitude towards others. She tends to others as "Earthlings". Celeste has always had a bit of a fascination with space and it's pretty evident in her design (she wears a cape similarly to a certain Kalos gym leader, but Celeste's outfit has a solar system theme to it)

Her relationship with her family is strained but she still cares about them (As shown in a battle resort event postgame once the player befriends her).

Her ace is Astromet (Minior's evolution) and it is capable of mega evolving. Astromet gets the ability Blast Shield when it Mega Evolves. Blast Shield reduces the amount of damage the Pokémon takes until the shield is "broken". The shield has it's own invisible health bar separate of the Pokémon's HP and will break once it is drained. After a few turns after it is broken, the shield will regenerate
