A reindeer line of Pokémon. I wanted to wait till December but why not.

Calbuck (Calf + Buck)

The calf Pokémon

Type: Ice/Normal

Ability: Slush Rush

Dex entry 1: Native to cold tundras. These Pokémon are very playful and spur amongst each other using their horns to hone their battling skills.

Dex entry 2: Usually very skittish when it comes to battling. However, Calbuck will fight back when cornered with a strong kick of their hooves before fleeing.

Dex entry 3: They rarely stray far from their heard. Yet sometimes one may get lost while looking for something to eat.

Dex entry 4: When this Pokémon is unable to reunite with it's herd they learn to fend for themselves and as a result will evolve.

Carifrost (Caribou + Frost)

The reindeer Pokémon

Evolves from Calbuck at an undecided level

Type: Ice/Normal

Ability: Slush Rush

Dex entry 1: These Pokémon live in large herds. They will work together to protect Calbuck from danger.

Dex entry 2: When one member of the heard spots danger the others will act, forming a protective circle with their horns drawn at the threat.

Dex entry 3: Antler size determines rank. The Carifrost with the largest ones is usually the leader of the heard.

Dex entry 4: Carifrost are known shun those in their heard the deem to be strange or unusual from their herd, including that of it's pre-evolution. There is a story of a Carifrost who was shunned from his heard who ended up saving Christmas

Wintigo (Winter + Wendigo)

The Wanderer Pokemon

Evolves from Calbuck when leveled up in the Everfrost Forest at night.

Type: Ice/Dark

Ability: Intimidate

Dex entry 1: Despite their appearance, Wintigo are quite friendly. People associate this Pokémon with bad omens.

Dex entry 2: Calbuck that get lost in the forest usually end up evolving into Wintigo. They are most active at night where they wander the trees in search for berries to eat.

Dex entry 3: They wear the skull of deceased Carifrost to hide their face. When it is removed, this Pokémon gets extremely embarrassed and will try to replace it with anything they can find.

Dex entry 4: Wintigo are solitary because others fear them. Carifrost will chase this Pokémon away when it comes too close.

Extra info:

Wintigo wear the skulls of Carifrost to ward off any would-be threats. They only take skulls off of already deceased Carifrost where all that's left is the skeleton. They will not kill Carifrost to do so.

Wintigo do have horns if you were to remove the skull from their face. They are very small and look very similar to that of a Pronghorn after they shed them
