I'm an awful person. I forgot to tell you guys about gen 7, which has been announced recently.

It was first teased the night before Nintendo Direct (and closely before Pokemon's 20th anniversary) with just a logo on a page with Nintendo's franchises. No one knew if it was real or not, because all that was announced was this logo:

Well, we didn't get our hopes up, because Nintendo has been known to trick us with fake Pokemon games before (Pokemon Brown and Amethyst are two prime examples XD).

The next day, when Nintendo Direct aired, it was confirmed in the preview. Sun and Moon, the 7th Pokemon gen, is confirmed. It is coming holiday season worldwide (so no, we don't have to wait for Japan to get it first) this year.

This brings up so many new possibilities! There was a few teased things in the trailer, and here's what they were:

-Vehicles and vehicle art, including a Pokemon Center ambulance
-What seemed to look like the new "Pidgey" Pokemon.
-More concept art of Pikachu
-Two small characters that were hard to see

We don't know much as of right now. However, there were also starters leaked. There have been some "fakes" going around, so be careful.

That's about all we know right now. There are possibilities that more will be announced through E3 or even sooner. Keep looking out for more spoilers!
