Bonnie

Ever since we landed in Aloha Region, Ash has been acting strange lately. It's like he was worried about something, but always keep his distance.

"This is very weird, Ash wouldn't keep a secret, could he?" I asked Cilan. The Unvoa Gym leader looked at me with certain interest. "You really cared for Ash, don't you?" He asks me.

I nodded at him, "Yeah. He's like my brother I never had, except I have Clement of course."

"Well, maybe he doesn't want to talk about what's bothering him. I shouldn't be worried about him, Bonnie." The Gym leader said, reassuring me.

I still think that Ash is hiding something that we don't know about, and I'm going to find out what that is.

That's when I noticed a familiar faces looking at a distance.

It was Team Rocket! But how is that possible, Emily and Ash defeated Giovanni in the Kalos League.

As I looked behind, Clement and the gang didn't even notice them. Dedenne looks at me and knew I was thinking.

"Dedenne, we can't just let Team Rocket get what they want. Let's follow them." We sneaked into one of their trucks and we left.

Ash

I practiced my Aura Sphere with Lucario. He seems impressed of how I improved.

"Well done, Ash! In this rate, you can use those Spheres in battle!" He said, looking at me.

"Aw, come on!" I blushed, but I started to think about my Dad again. I still can't believe he's alive and what makes worse that Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket is my uncle and determined to kill him.

"Ash, you thinking about Sir Aaron again?" Lucario asked, noticing my expression.

"Yeah." I admitted to my old friend, "It's still unbelievable that he's actually my father. I wished that I knew him better before he was in that crystallization in the Tree of Beginning."

Suddenly, I felt Bonnie's Aura. She is in Team Rocket's truck and also I see Dad!

"Ash, what's wrong?" Lucario asks.

"Bonnie! She's in trouble!" I told him.

"Then let's go!" Lucario said.

I thought, "Bonnie... what you thinking?"

Dedenne and I crept out of our hiding spot.

"Ok, Dedenne, let's find out what trouble Team Rocket is doing this time."

The Fairy -Type Pokémon got out of my satchel and we begin to search of anything suspious.

Suddenly, Dedenne spots something strange.

"Dedenne.. Dedenne!" He said.

I looked at his direction and see some sort of Crystallization. And someone is inside that crystal.

"It looks like he's in a coma. We have to rescue him before Team Rocket does anything to him. Dedenne, use Muzzle!" I instructed the Pokémon.

The Pokémon broke the Crystal and the man groans, "What.. Happened?"

"You were in that crystal, sir." I explained, "And Dedenne and I broke you out."

"You did, huh? What's your name?" He asks.

"I'm Bonnie, this is Squishy and you already met my partner, Dedenne."

"I'm Aaron." He replied, then he turns serious. "You three shouldn't be here. It's too dangerous for a Trainer like you."

"I'm not leaving you! Like Ash said, "Don't give up until it's over!" Aaron looks to me in shock.

"You know Ash?"

As I was about to explain, I pushed him in harms way!

"The nerve!" I hear a voice say.

"It's Jessie!" I said.

"Who?" Aaron asks.

"She's from Team Rocket, and believe me, she's a crook." I explain.

"Aaron, Giovanni wants to see his brother again. So come with us." She said.

"No way I'm letting that happen!" I said, protecting Arron in a shield.

"Fine, Twerp. Gourgeist use Dark Pulse on both of them!"

As I stand my ground, an Aura Sphere and Thunderbolt came and defend us!

"Bonnie!" I turned to see Ash, a Lucario and Pikachu came towards us!

"Ash!" I said, relieved.

Ash

I am glad that Dad and Bonnie were alright.

"Ash!" Bonnie exclaimed in relief.

"You guys ok?" I asked them.

"We're fine, but what's going on?" She asks.

I didn't say a word as I used one of my Spheres to escape.

As we leave, Lucario looks at me. He knew that there is risks for me and Arron if Giovanni is here.

"We have to stay low for a while." I said, seriously, "Who knows that Team Rocket is up to here in Aloha Region."

Bonnie said, "That is what I'm afraid of. Should we tell Isabella and the gang about Giovanni broke out of prison?"

I said, looking at her, "Are you crazy, Bonnie? She just reunited with us after five years and the first thing you want to do is tell her that Giovanni escaped to search for his archenemy?"

She blushes, "I never thought it that way. Maybe we should keep it as a secret for now."

"You think?" I asked. Then I looked at Dad. He looks like me and he's still confused of where he is after being in that crystallization.

"Uh, Bonnie, can you and Dedenne go back to the others? Aaron and I need a private moment." I asked.

"Ash, you sure? You don't know him." Bonnie said.

"I'm sure, Bonnie." I replied.

Bonnie looks at me again but left.

I turned to my father.

"You knew who I was." He said.

"Yes. I know. You should've been there for me and Emily." I said, turn away from him.

He touches my shoulder.

"I know I'm not the father you expected, Ashton. But I'm willing to give it another chance. Please." He said.

I looked into my father's eyes and then without hesitating, I embraced him for the first time in five years.

He was shocked at first but he hugged me back.

"I missed you, Ashton." He said.

"As I do, Dad. I missed you so much." I replied.
