Narrator: 

Last time we last saw our heroes, Ash and company met an old rival from Ash's past, Cross, who revealed to be a Trail Captain. 

Cross gave Ash a surprise of challenging him to a Pokemon Battle to celebrate their unexpected reunion in Aloha Region. 

Cross was in total shock of meeting Isabella for the first time. 

Emily, felt a little left out, and leaves the group for a bit of fresh air to clear her mind, as to her surprise of seeing Gary who said to her that "Can we talk?"

What Gary want to talk about to Emily?

Let's find out! 

Emily

I was utter shock of seeing Gary. Why is he here with me, not with Ash and the others?

"Em. We need to talk." He said. I titled my head in confusion as I ask, "Talk? What you want to talk about?" 

He was blushing, of that he was thinking about something recently, as he took my hand as Pikachu seems to be curious as I was. 

He led me away from the group as we stopped at a Pokemon battle field. 

"Remember what I told you when back at the Kalos League , when I encounter you about your disappearance from Ash and the others?"

I nodded, "I remember. You asked me to battle you when it was all over with Team Plasma and Team Rocket's plans. " 

"Well, we never got the chance to do it. And you seem off, so, I wanted to do something to cheer you up. 

If you win, I will help you confront your uncle, and confront your fear of loosing Ash again. " 

Yikes! How he know I was feeling scared of loosing Ash?!? Was my actions that noticeable?!?

We stand against each other as I was in my thoughts, "Come to think of it, Gary's right. I never had to battle against him before. 

He may be Ash's friendly rival, it doesn't mean that I wouldn't have a shot of beating him in a Pokemon Battle. " 

Gary

When the battle is over, I want to tell Emily how I really feel about her. To tell her that there is so much more than being a Pokemon Researcher. 

I reached out my Pokeball, "Ready to do this, Emily?"

"Yeah, you bet!" 

"All right, Umbreon, I choose you!" I exclaimed, releasing my faithful companion. Emily seems to be amazed of my choice of using Umbreon. 

"Umbreon, huh? " Emily asks, as she pulls out her Pokedex to examine the Pokemon before her: 

Umbreon, the Dark type Pokemon. It is one of the seven evolutions of Eevee, the normal type Pokemon. 

It is also known as "The Moonlight Pokemon." 

"So, this is one of Eevee's evolutions . That's so amazing, Gary. " She said, putting away her Pokedex. 

"Thanks for the compliment, that's something coming from the champion of the Kalos League. " I said. 

"Well, I guess that I should pick out the obvious choice. Ready, I choose you, Pikachu!" 

Pikachu jumps from Emily's shoulder and into the battlefield. 

"Ladies first. " I said, being generous. 

"Pikachu, use Discharge! " She yelled. 

"Dodge it, Umbreon!" I yelled, as he follows my command. 

"Tail Whip, let's go!" 

"Dodge it and use Quick Attack!" 

Pikachu hits the attack and Umbreon fell from the attack, "Are you ok?"

He nods as I thought, "This is Isabella Satoshi, the winner of the Kalos League. It's no surprise that she is giving everything she got in the battle. It's just like back at the League when Ash was held against his will. 

Her determination is on point, no matter what the situation was, or how dangerous it could be. " 

Umbreon was determined to win. "Can you keep going?" I asked my faithful companion, as he nods. 

"Umbreon, use Moonlight!" 

The Dark type Pokemon uses the attack as Isabella said, "Dodge it quickly!" 

She did as instructed as the Moonlight missed her directly. 

Isabella looked around as then she smiled as if she had an idea. 

"Pikachu, run towards the ledge! Keep running into it!" 

I thought, "What is she planning?" 

The electric type run as Isabella notices her tail was lit up as she hopes it would. 

"Ok, jump into the ledge and make an Electroweb and jump into it!" 

I yelled out, in surprise, "A brand new move?!?" 

The attack hit as Umbreon got up again. 

I said, "That's so you! Having a brand new move hidden like that, how long you practice that move?"

"Actually, um, we figure it out yesterday . I haven't used it in a battle, so, surprise!" 

"Geez, what a pain. " I joked. 

That is when things got serious. Isabella got her Electric Z Crystal and placed in her Z- Ring! 

"You're kidding me, anything but that!" I exclaimed. 

She said, "Now, Pikachu, use full power now! Use Gigavolt Havoc!" 

The battle ended as Umberon was unable to battle. 

Emily

Gary seemed to be at ease that he lost the battle. "Great job, buddy. Take a good rest. " 

He walked up to me, "Ok, I admit it. You're really gotten better with using that Z-move. Have you thought about Ash since the battle started?"

The feeling of anxiety of loosing Ash was taken over by the battle that I haven't thought of it . "I feel better. 

Maybe having that battle made me realize of that having second thoughts isn't scary at all. " 

"Good. There's something I want to say to you, Em. It's been in my mind recently. " Gary said, which made Pikachu and I confused by his words. 

He took a deep breath as that he had calm his nerves. "I love you, Emily Ketchum. I had been liking you since I discovered that you were Ash's younger sister.  I couldn't bear it if something terrible happen to you. " 

His confession was a shock to me, of that is this why he was so hesitant towards me?

I walked towards him and smiled , that I too had kept of having a crush to Gary Oak. 

I said, "What took you so long to tell me? Idiot. " 

His expressions were shocked of the revelation that I liked him too, as though we were about to have our first kiss as a couple, my aura suddenly flashed in a distant, as I saw an familiar face, all bruised, been abused badly and chained up to a wall. 

"Oh no. " I said, as I pass out .  "Emily! Emily!" 

Gary's voice yelled out to me, but my eyes were blacked out. 

Ash

I still couldn't believe of that I battled Cross! It was so great, as Brock said, curiously, "Hey, have you guys seen Isabella and Gary around?"

Come to think about it, he has a point. It seems strange.  "That's odd. Where did they go? They were just here a while go. " I said. 

"We better look for them. " Cross suggested. We looked everywhere as then Pikachu picked up Emily's Pikachu's electric waves. 

"Ash, I sense a distress electric wave from Pikachu! She seems worried. " Pikachu said through using his Aura. 

"Thanks, bud. Lead the way!" I said. As we did, we see Gary holding Emily in his arms. 

"Gary!" I exclaimed as he saw us. "Ash, everyone!" 

I looked at my sister, "What happened to her?"

"Emily and I just finished a battle and we had a talk then all of a sudden, she collapsed into the floor. 

I don't know what's going on with her. " He said, felt panic in his voice. 

I closed my eyes to feel her aura, as I said, "She's just passed out, Gary. Let's head back to my Dad. He'll know what to do. " 

"Your Dad?" Cross asks me, as Serena said, "It's complicated story, Cross. Just go along with it. " 

Lucario places his hand over Emily, "Lucario can watch over her for now, so you can rest easy. " 

"Thanks, Aaron. " Gary said, with a sigh of relief, as Cross looks troubled. 

"What's troubling you, Cross?" I ask. 

"Well, despite of Isabella's condition, I wonder what cause her to collapse like that, maybe she must sense something was wrong. " 

Clement said, "Like what , we know Team Rocket is here in Aloha. I wonder if that seems to be the case . " 

"Maybe. We should be cautious. " I replied. 

Bonnie

I couldn't think straight . I was held against my will, as that I was captured by no other than Team Rocket. 

They were ruthless, and kept Dedenne away from me . They were determined of opening a portal, a portal that leads them to the Ultra Dimension. 

I said, weakly, "You.. You wouldn't get that portal to open, Giovanni. Your plan is absolute bust. " 

"Oh, it's not, because with a Ultra Beast,  I can use it to gain control of Ash against the people he dearly cares about. 

He's going to be under my control as it should be. " 

"You're absolutely mad. " 

As he chuckled, the chains stretched out my arms as I welph in pain, as that it was painful. 

I couldn't scream any longer, as the leader got away. I have to get help somehow, to get away and warn about Giovani's evil plot. 

That was when I sense Emily's aura. It was very faint as she must've seen what had happened to me. 

I wanted to touch her, but I didn't have enough strength to pull me up , as she fade instantly. 

"Emily... Ash.. Big Brother." I mumbled , crying. 

Serena

"Bonnie!" Emily exclaimed as Ash said, "Whoa, sis, you feel ok, you're safe. " 

I looked at Ash, "Seriously, Ash. This seems serious. What's wrong, Isabella?" 

Emily looks at us, as she got up and changes her casual alohan outfit to the familiar alias of Isabella Satoshi. 

She storms out of the safety house as I walked up to her, "Isabella, wait! What you doing? " 

"I have to confront my uncle. It has to be me. " She said, as I pull her arm, "Are you crazy, you'll be in Giovanni's hands! It's a trap and you know it. What's going on?"

"I didn't want Clement to know, but it's Bonnie. I saw her, Serena. She's being held captive by Team Rocket in their headquarters here in Aloha , I have to save her. " She said . 

"And you honestly think you'll go off alone, just like you've done five years ago, when your uncle set that fire trap that caused you to leave your brother all alone, thinking you're dead? 

There's no possible way I'm letting you go alone, I'm going with you. " 

Emily was shocked of my determination , as she said, "Serena, it would be absolutely dangerous. Are you sure about coming along?"

"Just try to stop me. " I said, as Braxien and Pancham came out their Pokeballs , showing Emily of joining in the rescue. 

"Hm. It seems like I can't stop you guys. Let's get going. If we stay here, the longer Bonnie's life is in danger. " 

We left without saying a word to Ash and the others. 

Narrator: 

Gary and Emily had a fulfilled promise to battle each other, and after that battle was over, a confession by Gary, of revealing that he had fallen in love with her, and that she loved him back, but as they were about to kiss, Emily had a scary aura connection to Bonnie, who has taken prisoner. 

Serena, had enough of Isabella's actions of going off alone, had confront her, and conviced Isabella join her to rescue Bonnie on their own. 

Will they able to succeed? 

Will Ash and the others find out what Giovanni has in store for them?
