Rokia, a region based primarily on the state of Colorado and the Rocky Mountains as well as some other parts of the West Cost. It borders the Regions of Ore and Unova and is primarily known for it's natural beauty and advanced technology.

"Well hello there and welcome to the World of Pokémon

My name is Professor Aspen but you may address me as the Pokémon Professor for this Region.

So you're about to set out on your very own Pokémon journey throughout Rokia I hear. But first, let me give you a little overview for what is to come.

*She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a Pokeball, sending out the creature inside*

We call these creatures Pokémon. This one in particular is a Marmit, a rather common Normal type that can be found just about all over the place here. They can often be found in large colonies and produce a loud whistle like sound when they spot danger.

We humans live alongside Pokémon in our day to day lives. Some of us keep Pokemon solely as pets while others train up a team of Pokemon to use in battle.

As a Pokémon Professor, it's is my duty to research these fantastic creatures. In particular, I specialize in studying Pokémon created as a result of humans, including methods of reviving Pokémon from Fossils.

Speaking of such, Rokia is quite famous for it's technology. Specifically in the field of Robotics thanks to the brilliant mind of a certain Dr. Light, a friend and occasional colleague of mine who happens to live in the same town as I. During your journey I'm sure you'll meet many of his creations, also known as Robot Masters.

Then there's Dr. Wily but we don't talk about him for obvious reasons.....

It's not just technology our region is known for but also Rokia's natural beauty. The people here take pride in preserving this land's ecosystem. From the sprawling forests to the snow capped mountains, you never know what you may come across while on your adventure.

I believe that's enough rambling from me. I shall go more into specifics at a later time. But before I go, I would like to introduce you to the three Starters of this region."

Professor Aspen whistles and three Pokémon come running up to her. She starts by pointing at a small Grass sheep Pokemon.

"This is the Grass Starter, Lambush (Based off of the Bighorn Sheep)."

Next up was a fire wolf Pokémon

"This would be our Fire Starter, Cinapup (Based on the Red Wolf. Which once was found in the area this region is based off)"

And finally, the Professor gestured towards a waterfowl Pokémon.

"Finally, this would be Pudduck , our water type Starter (Based on a Wood Duck, it's final form will be based off the Great Blue Heron)"
