Main Characters -

Ren Aigamato- Ren is a human and a skilled pokeAR player(think of it like yugioh arc V and zeXal concepts combined) but one day in his sleep he has a weird dream and when he comes to he's suddenly a riolu and in another world the pokemon only world now he's an adventurer of a team with his buddy naoto and little buddy celty what kind of events will happen to ren now that he is in this world now?

Duna Kyōryū - duna is a human and one of ren's friends and like ren a skilled pokeAR player she help ren train and vice versa she tries her best to help out and fit in with her friends but they enjoy her presence and acknowledges her readiness for anything she takes up ren's place now that he's in the Pokemon world(or to them sleeping) what can she do now that ren's not by her side to aid her in the upcoming citywide battle tournament will she be able to win? Or will she lose right off the bat?

Jun Kishibe - jun is a human and one of ren's friends and like the other two is a decent PokeAR player he is a smart boy and will usually study up on his opponents then challenge them to an AR fight and he also tends to write stuff down (like strategies tactics and more) he tends to bug ren with his smart talk but he enjoys the battle he gets with him in AR so its all good with them

Mio yukahara - mio is a human who is the last one in ren friend group she doesn't play PokeAR but she does help build their teams when they need her best she often spends most of her time reading novels and manga and will usually hide it from others except from her friends who also enjoy her rants about the books and stuff she reads and she cares for her friends (because she only has 3) and ren the most due to being the first friend she ever made

Naoto - naoto is a cyndaquil form the Pokemon world that ren ends up in naoto finds ren sleeping on the beach near his hangout spot and wakes him up only to be yelled at and made even more confused by ren's confusion of being a pokemon but not human and was giving a nickname on the spot form his rambles and winds up being friends with him from that moment on, now he goes on wild adventures with ren and celty and while they at it try to solve the mystery of ren in the pokemon world

celty - celty is a joltik from the pokemon world due to how small she is it took both ren and naoto a bit of time to notice her but now that she has been discovered she eagerly joined their team she usually likes to stay on top of other pokemons heads or backs but she enjoys the adventures she goes on with ren and naoto

Shirou kotosaba - the champion of PokeAr and ren's rival (but ren doent think that only shirou)

Professor hana - a virtual free willed AI who help PokeAR players get their starter Pokemon she often mumbles when she is in deep thinking

PokeAR announcer - he announces the pokeAR city wide tournament

Carrot the guildmaster of aliba island - a Lopunny that runs a guild in the east island known as aliba she recruits ren and team and is the reason why they go on adventures also got her nickname form ren after getting curious about naoto and celty names

Rika the guildmaster assistant - a mawile who assists carrot in almost anything like reminding everyone what they have to do around the guild and help buy more apples(sometimes big apples) for the guildmaster she is sometimes stern around others but she means well also she got her nickname reluctantly from ren she don't like it but she will get used to it over time

The mail pelipper delivery team - a bunch of pelippers delivering mail,requests and more to both explores and the other pokemon in the world

The report paper team; a group of pokemon lead by gumshoos who make the daily news and gives it to the pelipper to deliver it to the world, have multiple members all over the islands but the HQ is at the northeast island news report island (it was named by gumshoos himself)

The magnezone police team - a police force lead by magnemite,magneton, and their leader magnezone they round up the wanted criminals all over the islands(behave yourselves BZZT)
