A few days has passed ever since that day, Spark and Aqua are now awfully close to each other which is what a lot of the guild members would've expected. In a very beautiful afternoon, Spark, Aqua, and Ava were gathering on the beach where the two usually play when they were young. They were there to help Ava train with her fire type move, she is now training under Aqua's watch while Spark just looking at them while lying his stomach on the sand. He look out at the view of the open sea that was reflecting the sunlight, but then he took notice that the Krabbies are coming out of the rock before they started blowing bubbles around the air which makes the view look super neat. It really takes him back to the time when he and Aqua used to play together while being surrounded by the bubbles that were made by the Krabbies. Both and Ava and Aqua finally done with their training before they look out at the beautiful ocean view which makes their eyes sparkles out of amazement. They decide to walk over to Spark before they sat down with him, but Ava decides to hop into his mane and sat in it.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Spark asked while his eyes were focusing on the beautiful view. "Yeah, you remember the time when I used to groom your fur while we were relaxing on the sand?" Aqua asked before she started rubbing his mane with her soft paw. "Yeah, I remember. You were great at it." He answers before he moves his head so she can touch his muzzle, she softly rubs it which made him purr like a kitty. He then started rolling around which startles Ava and she quickly jumps off from his mane and he is now lying on his back, Ava then starts lying on his chest while Aqua started rubbing his stomach playfully while laughing along with him. "Who's a good kitty~? Who's the best kitty~?" Aqua teased him while rubbing his stomach even more while Spark is still purring before he says. "Mmmm~ Me~ I'm a good kitty~" Ava on the other was smiling at how playful her parents are before she decides to rub his chest as well, the feeling of the two rubbing his body really takes him back, he feels very happy to be with them.

After a while of rubbing, the two starts snuggling Spark while they are looking up at the bright sky. "Hey Spark, there is something that concerns me..." Aqua started speaking up while frowning a bit. "Huh? What's wrong Aqua?" He asked while patting her head with his front leg. "You remember a few days ago when Guildmaster Wigglytuff announces about the expedition? Do you think they'll let Ava in?" She asked while looking at him. He was thinking about that before, now the thought started bothering him for a bit because he is concerned about what will Wigglytuff say if they bring Ava along. "I... I'm not sure. They did say that we can't bring a pokemon who is not a part of the guild member. But... Ava is still little and she can't take of herself." He said before he pats Ava who is still lying on his chest with his other front leg. "Hmm... Maybe I could try talking this out to Chatot, see if he will allows it." He said. "Huh? Do you think that would work?" She asked while looking a bit surprised. "I'm sure he'll allow it. After all, he wouldn't reject it over a cute looking Scorbunny like Ava."

A few hours later, right in the Guild. "Cute or not, she can't come to the expedition!" Chatot sternly said after he heard both Spark's and Aqua's explanation about bringing Ava to the expedition. "You realized how dangerous this expedition is?! We can't risk it by bringing a young child like her! Look, if you really want to keep this little one safe, then I suggest you leave her with Chansey because she is able to keep eggs in her possession safe." He added, but clearly Spark can't accept it and then starts saying. "Look Chatot, I understand about your concern but we can't leave Ava without a supervision from her parents, she's like a few days old and if we leave her behind then who knows what will she do. And I can't leave her with Chansey because she takes care of eggs, not baby pokemon." Hearing Spark's explanation makes Chatot sweatsdrop by how stubborn he is before he could feel Aqua holding his wing before saying. "Please Chatot, we're begging you, please let Ava join in on this expedition. We promise to keep her safe and we will take the responsibility if something happens."

Chatot then groans a bit before he let go of his wing off of her paws her before he scratches his head. "Look, how about I ask this to the Guildmaster instead? If there is someone that I can make decision like this, then it would be him. But I can't promise you if he refuses to bring her along, understand?" He explains before the two looked at each other then back at him before nodding. "We understand, thanks Chatot." Spark said before they leave and goes back to their room. "I really hope the Guildmaster accepts it, otherwise, we have no option left." Aqua said before she feels Ava was pulling her fur, telling her that she is hungry before she quickly breastfeed her so she won't cry. Aqua see Spark was doing something with their hay beds; he is actually combining both beds into one. "Here, now we can sleep together." He stated which made her smile and she started walking towards their bed and lies down on it, he then lie down beside her and hugs her with his front legs. "Let's just rest for now and hope that he won't object it. Goodnight Aqua." "Yeah, goodnight Spark." The two then drifted off to sleep but they didn't know that an unexpected day is going to come soon.
