Chapter 46: Everyone is here! The Dream Team is a go!

With the Brooklet Hill Island Trial to an end, the class is all set to resume their studies to ease their minds off of competitive battling for a little while. Now just because the protagonists are occupied with one uneventful thing, doesn't mean there won't be any plot right now, well you're wrong. With four islands in the Alola region, there is plenty of activity to find and narrate. Returning to Ula'ula Island, the corporation of Cosmos still stood running quite effectively despite the imbalance of responsibilities that are held to the admins, or at least some of them. Recalling back, there are some admins who actually use their time productively in the workplace, and there are those who didn't, in fact, its the opposite for the younger individuals. Despite the lack of completion of duties, OZone's strong and firm leadership helped put things where they ought to be. Thanks to the boss's book, "The Age of Rebellion" by Dr. Scott. If you thought the office couldn't get any more lively here, you sir or ma'am are STILL incorrect. The five admins back then were only half of the whole group. Some new faces, some old.

The morning sun rose on the island of Ula Ula, a gorgeous and elegant woman with a ponytail in a shoulder-front style walked into the office with her necklace of the island's guardian Tapu Bulu clocked in for the workday. Her duties were very much similar to Mitsuki and Belle's daily tasks, but she had her own field of responsibilities that she can only take care of. Speaking of the tall admin, Mitsuki approached her right in front of the woman, she greeted her with a friendly smile, as the woman does the same followed by a bow.

"Good morning Mitsuki, let our progress soar as high as the cosmos itself." Despite working together for a while now, the other woman wasn't used to her co-worker to be bowing as they would so in Kanto, she forcefully bows herself, feeling out of place for doing so.

"I... Uhh... Yeah, I do agree. Thank you, Serenity..."

The woman by the time lifts her angle back up and lightly smiles. She heads towards the greenhouse located in the back of the corporation to water and to take note of the plant's conditions, as Mitsuki tilts her head down while she resumed walking.

"Why... Can't I be as elegant as her..?"

The job requiring the supervision and the provision of nourishment was actually a really easy task for a woman like Serenity. She always had a green thumb ever since a young age, growing up in an eastern region of the Pokémon world. The first of several duties for the day for the women have been checked off, so she locked the door of the greenhouse before the automatic sprinklers turned on for daily watering.

Serenity walked down the white halls of lower-level employees with their own duties to complete, joining a couple taking an elevator down a couple of doors down of the company. She walked with a green suitcase towards the office of the head of the corporation,  OZone. She only took a few steps in, hearing the muffling sound of unpleasant yelling. The scary thing about the situation was that it took no consideration on whatever was the cause of it.

"He found out..."

Was all she muttered before race-walking into the entrance of the top-secret room in which had very strict access to, not even a regular admin like herself could enter by herself. The door was closed, but the angry shouted was as loud as if it was opened, and the voice the second voice was as quiet as you'd think.

"Why?? Why is it so hard to follow the easiest tasks assigned to you?? All you had to do was stay in the room and finish solving our secret formula you excuse for an intellectual!"

"But solving those boring math problems were so boooooooring! I saw the big cool machine thing and so I-"

"You wanted to play with it? Is that what you meant to say? Well, thanks to you, it's nearly unfixable! It'll take weeks to recalibrate the wiring!"

Serenity gasped and continued moving before the man yelling could really say something meant for an older audience. The problem wasn't over yet...

"Look, I'm sorry Arc, okay? I know we don't get along so well, but why don't we just get some ice cream and we can start-"

"You know, sorry doesn't make everything better. I had concerns for myself working with an immature baby skips orders for their amusement. I'm right, I always been right about you children. You're all loud, you're all stupid, and you all take everything lightly and do whatever your tiny TINY attention spans, please. You know what? You, Molly, are the worst employee I have ever had to work with. OZone is a wise man, but hiring you is the only mistake in his life. Get out, get out of my sight you worthless child."

All the cut-offs from the man only Molly hold back the tears from Arcs painfully truthful words. He wasn't afraid to vent himself by talking down specifically to Molly whenever she continues her sluggish performance at Cosmos Corporation.

"But... What am I-"

"Get. THE FUCK. OUT OF HERE. RIGHT NOW!!! YOU'RE FIRED! RIGHT NOW!!

Arc didn't have the right or the power to call someone out like that, but anything to rid Molly was something he was gonna do, even if it puts his own job on the line. Before the bawling children ran out the door to the elevator, OZone walked in with Serenity standing at the door. He didn't seem mad, and he wasn't controlling it as if he did with Daichi and Rōzu. Molly ran into Serenity's arms to clam down, but the boss had a few forms to ease Arc himself.

"Arc. If you please."

The two stepped out of the room, to have a quiet moment to tone down the atmosphere, Arc still heavily breathed letting all out,

"Arc, I know Molly isn't the tamest employee I've hired but let's not forget why I have done so."

OZone reminds Arc of Molly's impressive IQ, but that wasn't enough, he still looks too deep of her faults, so he continues to let it out.

"OZone... You are indeed the best boss a man like myself could ever ask for, but hiring her is a mistake! She continues to ignore my tasks, and she gets paid just as much as a scientist again, like myself, earns!"

OZone looks at him, knowing he had said a fault that even he shouldn't have said back there.

"Oh yes, I don't ever recall you ever granting permission of hiring or firing anyone in my name, but I will look past that, and I suggest you do too."

Arc tried coming up with some way to counteract his argument before resuming to something else that needed the bosses attention.

"Let's resume our day Arc, I have an important meeting with the ten of you. Please get the others in a half hour."

Arc nods after giving into his boss and walks out of the laboratory after locking it, Molly still in Serenity's vision, but the nice woman asked, "Are you feeling any better now...?"

All that the man could say avoiding eye contact with Molly was;

"So happy I could almost bake cookies."

Arc slumped through the halls of the current floor with the sense of hatred and the need for major venting for his little "issues". His boss and therapist have suggested purchasing a stress ball to squish his anger out. His other solution is to count, that's it. Count as long as he remains upset. Molly hilariously has kept track of the highest number he has counted up to, which is somewhere as high as 380. Arc had spent the hour all over the corporation in search for the other admins, but instead of calling them through their work phones, he sought them out on foot, the reason being either they were usually too busy to pick up a call unless the caller ID is directly from OZone himself, or if they are too busy goofing off. He sets off to the office up to a couple of floors, where a happy admin enjoys his work of experimentation.

"Oh, my stars! What a miraculous discovery!"

The bald scientist with large goggles (if you could even call them that) scribbles down both sloppy and neatly written notes on a large notepad. The project that the man was currently researching involved a colony of Durant, this ant-Pokémon in which plate themselves in steel armor to protect themselves against their natural enemy Heatmor, in which both naturally live in the Unova region. The Durants have built complicated interconnected ant tunnels with several large rooms inside for storage of food supply, nesting, etc. Now the real question is to ask if these Bug-Steel Pokémon are friendly to outsiders, but the exact same type they both share. The man has sneaked another insect Pokémon with a steel shell which almost even resembles a rock. Hidden in a pile of leaves, Durant's primary food source, a Pokémon named Forretress is enclosed in its hard body to surprise the ants of its unexpected appearance. The admin watched and noted all moves to see how an Unova and Johto Pokémon environmentally interact. Would they get along? Would they fight for territory? Suddenly, another Admin with a familiar face to this story drops in, piercing the concentration of the bald man.

"Hiya Buzz! Have you seen my lunch? I left it in the fridge with a sticky note-"

Buzz forcefully hushes the fellow admin up from the Durant leaf picking, seconds away from discovering Forretress.

"Not now, not now Tony! Natural science is about to answer my question!"

Tony picks his ear, acted like he was interested in the works behind Buzz's project, but really wasn't.

"Ahh, I see. So its that Durant thing you're still doing huh?"

"Ever so certainly! Let me just say it wasn't the easiest assignment to place Forretress inside the Durant colony within destroying any tunnels or without disturbing the Pokémon themselves!"

Finally, after the explanation, the Durants have picked all of the leaves in which hid Forretress, and currently climbed all over the round Pokémon.

"Here it comes, here it comes!"

The Forretress ends up opening its round steel shell, perking its cylinder spikes, which it scares off all the Durant. It a second for the Pokémon to climb up back onto the Forretress, and they just stood in place. Tony was lost, Buzz anticipated for what was to happen next.

"Buzz, Tony. We have a meeting starting shortly."

Arc slowly opens the door, making sure he wasn't interrupting the scientists latest project. Tony eyes back at Arc, who follows, but Buzz wasn't on board.

"R-right now? But I have yet to discover the communication for Durant and Fortress!"

He whispered loudly enough for Arc to hear while keeping his volume from going any higher to interrupt the Pokémon. For starters, Arc wasn't the most kind of people in the world, but when it came to processing, development, and achievement, he was hesitant diving him and the answer of natural science.

"I'm afraid so Buzz. OZone is expecting our presence soon."

"I... I understand."

The sad Buzz sighed, walking to his desk to turn on a camera to record his progress. He wouldn't miss the project with it but experiencing first hand was the much better path for a researcher to go. Arc pats the back of the down scientist as the three of them headed to the meeting room, one specifically for just the admins themselves.

Daichi, Rōzu, and Molly were present before Arc himself, which relives him from dragging them out of whatever activity they were up to before any meeting to be had.

"Arc, Tony, Buzz. You, gentlemen, are looking very well." Mitsuki held her hands in front of her, trying to bow as Serenity does, which was much better her than before, but still was off. Tony walks past the woman and plopped himself a seat with the children. By no means, he wasn't childish as they were, but they certainly were more fun to be around with than the adults were.

"Hey, Tony! You think got a song for us before this thing?"

Daichi scooted right next to the man who had an eye for music. Rōzu instead picked up his chair to sit right next to his friend, at the same time, keeping the floor clean from leg scrapes. Since Tony has a love for music, he pulled out a harmonica from his pocket and began singing the blues with his own lyrics. Daichi tried his best to keep up with the words but ends up making quite the fool, a little less when Molly joins him, Rōzu sat there with a face questioning how and why he even became friends with both Daichi and Molly. Before the song could really get into the catchy swing of things, OZone walked into the meeting room with his hands behind his back, Pikachu sitting on his shoulder. The admins knew that he cares about this particular Pokémon as if it was one of his own. So much that they treat this Pikachu as if it was OZone himself.

"Good morning everyone. I know we all have things to finish, places to be, and calls to be dialed. So I'll make it quick. Where's Cypher?"

Everyone but Arc sudden turn their heads to the back of the room and didn't even come to the conclusion the 10th admin even showed up to the meeting, let alone work. The one last you may have heard of, Cypher is a man who honestly doesn't talk much. He's even so quiet, nobody seems to even notice him whenever a meeting is formed and grouped. Funny thing when he did mention his name was when Cypher and his Ducklett walked into the room with a peace sign.

"Hello OZone, everyone. Sorry, I'm late."

He quietly said as he took a seat between Mitsuki and Serenity. Now that everyone was here, it was time to resume what they have been gathered under one room for.

"Now, I know some of you think I'm a good person, a good boss. But I don't feel like it. A man with a clean smile with a healthy shade on his wrinkle-free face. No stubs he missed shaving off that same face in the morning busting out the shaving cream. That ain't me."

Pikachu began poking at his chest, wanting to make sure he wasn't talking bad about himself. He grins at his little buddy, giving him an orange Poké-bean to snack on.

"I wasn't ever the nicest kid on the block, I wasn't very welcoming when people I question approach me. Believe it or not, there weren't many people I could ever look up for guidance. My mother, and my dad."

Serenity eyed Belle, then to Mitsuki, she really wanted to question why OZone is talking so low about himself, but he wasn't in the position to take any comments.

"You all didn't ask for a lecture about me, and I apologize. So let's get to the part where I need everyone's eyes and ears."

Pikachu hops off of OZones shoulder to turn on a projector that was on top of the ceiling and ran back where it lied, its owner pulled out a laser pointer and aimed it at some coordinates the lit up screen had successfully loaded up.

"Now, I know what we're really running, but we gotta keep up the act. Saving the earth is important, I love the planet, and so should you. The truth could hurt the people around you, so be careful who you talk to. Don't share this to your mom, your dad, your Pokémon, or anyone outside the corporation."

This sudden oath wasn't surprising to any of the admins when brought up. OZone has brought up this very subject on certain work days, and even office parties to remind everyone what and why they strive for OZones personal goal that will be discussed and planned. Half of the group nods and the other half remained silent, OZone shifts the next slide, presenting what appears to be an abnormal world with the strangest structures and buildings you have ever seen.

"The Reverse World. A separate universe from our world, as the name suggests, it's a world that that is the polar opposite from the world we all inhabit."

He was to click the laser pointer to move to the next slide, but Molly noticed his hesitance to do so, she wondered.

"C-could he be holding back from..?"

The little girl didn't know much, but she knew OZones personal motivations as being told from the man himself, and when he clicked on the next slide, a man's profile picture pops up, The admins are reminded of the man who actually traveled into the bizarre world and trapped inside.

"Cypher... He's been missing for 30 years... Not a trace..."

He couldn't speak pass that, Daichi and Rōzu looked at one another, they can only imagine how much the man meant to OZone beyond the stories he had shared with the admins, so the boss wasn't taking this lightly.

"They say he's dead. I say he's alive... And I will prove it. Ever since I developed Cosmos Corporation, I had a machine, one that will able me access into this absurd world, I will search deep into the dark depths of this hellish world and I will bring Cyrus back even if I lose a leg from anything that tries to eat or break me."

OZones's last slide included a date in a large font size to exclaim its importance.

"After months of intense and patient calculations. We will activate our world hopping machine at the end of the month. Our journey to the Reverse World. Are you in?"

The room stayed silent until Arc rose up, no fear to be seen in his eyes stood up as his Number Two and raised his hand.

"I'm in sir."

Suddenly, Mitsuki also lifted herself up, devoted to helping, even if she wasn't as stable as Arc.

"Me too sir."

One by one, each admin also rose from their seats with a raised hand.

"I'm with you, sir.

"Yeah, me too boss!"

"You can tell me too OZone!"

"... I'm with you too."

"Yay! me too!"

"I will do my best to serve our quest OZone."

"We will be sure to bring him back safely OZone."

"Absolutely OZone."

Needless to say, Pikachu's eye sparkled, OZone also cracked a smile, knowing he wasn't alone on this. Although, he did feel the need to say,

"You all earned your titles through your sturdy loyalty and will power. You're all fueled by determination. It may not look like for all of you, but I think so. Now go, we must carry out a day ahead of us, more plans to be discussed this afternoon."

Now being dismissed, everyone left in two separate directions into their own office, some thought about this journey could be, "Dangerous." While the obvious thrill seekers of the admins couldn't help but think, "This'll be fun!".
