Pokemon center
Neil hands his pokeballs to the nurse joy of the city, she's a cheerful young woman with pink hair wearing a nurse uniform, she's in charge of healing hurt or fainted Pokemon.
After getting his pokeballs back Neil reminisces about his loss. How that trainer had mega evolution and easily swept his team. "When my project is done that won't happen again" Neil said to himself. 'ring ring ring' Neil's pokenav began to ring out. Neil answered "hello". Tyra's voice echoes "professor! The mega power has been processed out of the crystals. We're waiting for you to finish the project". "okay I'll be right there"Neil answered as he rushed back to delta labs.
On the way he looked at his receipt, it wrote... Espurr-female ability-infiltrator
Moves- confusion, growl, psybeam, covet
Snare/snover-male ability-soundproof moves- icy wind, ice punch, razor leaf
Zubat-female ability-inner focus moves- supersonic, wing attack, poison sting, leech life
This would better help him understand his Pokemon and use them effectively.
Delta lab
Making his way to the basement Neil realized he had to free that girl as she couldn't do anything else to stop the project. He reached the cell and opened it, he the tossed 3 pokeballs at the girl. "Get out of here. There nothing you can do to stop the project" Neil said to her. Almost immediately she stood up and rushed over to Neil and jacked him by his lab coat. (Too close!) Neil thought with his face turning red. The girl was directly in front of him, she was very pretty up close with bright blonde hair and deep blue eyes. Neil managed to pry himself free from her "what are you doing?!" he said trying to compose himself. "My name is Cybil and I challenge you to a Pokemon battle. If I win you stop this madness!" The girl answered." And if you lose you get lost!" Neil said as he got his pokeballs ready. Cybil then released her first pokemon a robin like bird with a red head "Fletchling stop him!". "Zubat do it!" Neil threw up his pokeball. The two flying types began their Ariel battle. "Fletchling use peck!" Cybil ordered and Fletchling's Beck glowed white as it changed at Zubat. "Zubat supersonic" Neil said as Zubat shouted confusing Fletchling causing it to crash. "Oh no fletching get up" Cybil cried. "Zubat wing attack full speed!" Neil shouted and Zubat change with it's glowing wings and slammed them on fletching. Fletchling fainted and Cybil returned it to it's pokeball. "Ok Riolu your up" Cybil sent out a blue dog like creature standing on it's hind legs "riooo" it shouted as it charged towards Zubat. "Zubat return. Switch with Snare" Neil said as he switched out. "Riolu mach punch!" Cybil ordered Riolu rushed and punched Snare right in the stomach."icy wind"Neil said Snare released a chilly breeze that slowed Riolu down. "Snare ice punch" Neil said "Riolu counter with Mach punch" Cybil ordered. The Pokemon fists collided but Snare managed to get a critical hit in. Riolu flinched. "Snare attack with a flurry of ice punches no mercy!" Neil ordered. Snare began to use two arms to punch Riolu punch after punch until Riolu fainted and Snare was exhaust. Then trainers returned their Pokemon to rest. Cybil sent out her final Pokemon a green lizard with a leaf tail "Treecko I need you". "Espurr come out" Neil called his starter out. "Treecko use razor leaf!" Cybil ordered and Treecko released a bunch of sharp leaves from it's tail at Espurr. "Dodge it Espurr" Espurr dodged the majority but still got hit a bit." Espurr covet it item" Neil commanded and with a flash of light Treecko's miracle seed was in the hands of Espurr. "Hey give that back you mad scientist!" Cybil cried. "Nope" Neil said mockingly, Espurr now finish it with psybeam!" And like that Espurr defeated Treecko with a single psybeam.
"Now that's done with. get lost Cybil." Neil said. "You don't even know what team delta will do with your research Neil! They might sell it to other evil teams" Cybil told Neil." Neil still had Doubt in his mind about helping team delta but he was too far gone to quit now. "Just get out now!" Neil shouted at Cybil "you'll regret this Neil I swear you will" Cybil said to Neil as she ran away with her fainted Pokemon.
Delta basement
Neil used Mewtwo's DNA to test out the normal mega stone in the mega device a huge machine powered by mega energy. "Success!" Neil shouted as he lifted the normal mega stone in the air. "With this any Pokemon capable of mega evolution just have to put this on and presto! Am a genius!" Neil praised himself "nice going professor" Tyra right beside him praised him as well. At that moment Kasper and Armando came to praise Neil as well "good job professor I can see us making big time from this invention" Kasper said smiling. Neil pushed Tyra to his left and dropped the mega stone on the left counter close to Mewtwo"Kasper I hope my work won't get into the hands of evil people" Neil told Kasper. " Where did that come from? Of course we won't sell it to bad people, our organization might not be legal but we're better than plain crooks" Kasper responded. " Then what do you do explain that clearly to me" Neil asked "well..." Before Kasper could finish what he was saying Mewtwo broke the cuffs on it's left arm and grabbed the Mega stone "what!!!" Neil couldn't comprehend how this happened but all of a sudden Tyra was thrown towards him, he grabbed her and moved to a safer area. Mewtwo began to transform into it's mega form x (that shouldn't be happening I dropped a normal mega stone not an x stone!) Neil thought to himself as he watched in horror. The once cat like Pokemon had grown horns and giant fist with spikes it had become a psychic fighting type. "Damn, in that case Espurr come out" Neil said as he called out Espurr who seemed pissed that Tyra was clinging onto Neil so tightly. "What's wrong Espurr?" Neil asked "nothing just command me master!" Espurr responded rudely. At that moment Kasper sent out his houndoom a hellhound like creature, "Houndoom flamethrower" Kasper ordered. "Espurr psybeam" Neil commanded Espurr as well. The two Pokemon unleashing their attacks together fused them into flaming psybeam a firery red beam of energy launched at Mewtwo x. It tanked the hit with ease. "Futile." Mewtwo x said using telepathy, it then used the move shadow ball and a huge dark ball of energy emmarged from it's hand. It then expanded engulfing the entire lab and everyone in it. Espurr retreated into it's pokeball. Neil tried to shield Tyra but to no avail "professor..." Tyra said softly as both her and Neil were engulfed in the explosion of shadow ball. 'Boooooooooom!' The entirety of delta lab was blown up.

5 hours later plantain path
An elderly man and a young woman both sporting lab coats went to invest the newly formed Crater in plantain path. "Professor Ivan" the woman addressed the old man she had a light shade of dark blue hair tied into two feather looking ponytails at the back of her haid, along with a blue long sleeve shirt and black leggings. "Are you sure team delta had a base here.it looks like a normal crater to me" she said to Ivan. "Be patient young professor Amala" Ivan said addressing the woman. His entire clothing style except his lab coat were gray in color his shirt and pants were light gray while his beret was dark gray, he also had a noticeably long beard and mustache. "Am certainly not that old to not know a secret base when i see one so..." he said to Amala who was staring at something in awe. " What is it Amala?"he asked as he turned to face what she was looking at. In that direction laid Neil in a beaten up state laying in the center of the crater.

What was Kasper going to tell Neil? Did he and Tyra survive Mewtwo's blast? Where's Mewtwo anyway? So many questions left for Neil to solve, tune in next time to find out peace.
