A field of flowers basking on the floor of an open field, countless beautiful girls running across it smiling and giggling, behind them is a man in a lab coat with purple hair chasing after them, in such a situation, men would have smiles on their faces as well, however in this case the man had a look of anger. "WHERE THE HELL IS LEXI!!!!!!" the man shouted with all his might... What could have happened to make him so mad.

Neil's partner Espurr was engulfed in light, her form grew bigger her ears longer, and the most noticable change was to her fur which was now white with the tips of her ears being blue, her paws were blue as well as part of her tail. Her now yellow eyes looked at Neil while holding a tuff of blue fur on her neck.

He pick up his pokedex and searched.
Meowstic the constraint Pokemon and the evolved form of Espurr, it no longer holds it's psychic powers back and as a result it has become much stronger at using them.

"Meowstic huh? Well I guess it was bound to happen at some point" Neil said as he sighed

(You don't like my form master) meowstic said telepathically, her new voice sounded more mature than it did when she was an Espurr.

"Nah it's not that, am just going to miss the tiny you a bit" Neil said as he rubbed his head.

Meowstic swayed back and forth while smiling (he'll miss my old form.....he must have really liked me)

"Amazing.... anyway Neil you have another prize here" Hanji the commentator said.

"Oh really?" The young professor said as he was given a Pokemon egg in a silver container.

"This is an Eevee egg quite rare in the Tyron region, take good care of it" Hanji said as the crowd once again applauded.

"Thank you I will" Neil said as he recalled meowstic into her pokeball.

In a green and pink building with lots of banners on it were Neil and his Pokemon sitting on a bench next to the shop
As reward for all their hard work Neil was treating his Pokemon to some sweets.
Meowstic was licking a large lollipop with different colors spiraling in the middle, her expression was that of joy as her cheeks flushed.
Combusken was sipping on some lemonade while running around.
Snare the Snover was enjoying a bucket of blue mint ice cream.
Strangely his Golbat was eating something else...

"Open up" Neil said as he tossed a red cube into Golbat's mouth.

"Golgolggool" the giant bat chewed happily.

"Um sir could I ask what you're feeding your Pokemon?" The shop owner asked curiously
She was a middle aged woman with brown hair tied in a bun, wearing an apron.

"Oh these? I call them 'friendship cubes' made from friendship berries but without the side effects of lowering stats, made' em myself" Neil proclaimed with pride.

"Do you have some more? am willing to buy them for any price?" The shop owner said seeing a chance to benefit her shop.

Neil grinned at the opportunity and brought out 3 jars of the cubes and sold them for a hefty price. Even though he didn't like to admit it he appreciated his late father for teaching him the ways of trade.

On his way to the gym he saw a happy looking Cybil walk out, she seemed to be holding a small black object in her hand. As soon as she saw Neil her expression turned into an annoyed one, she hissed at him and walked out of town, Neil ignored that and went to get his 3rd gym badge.

Neil stepped foot into the gym doors expecting some weird trap or trivia challenge but he got none of that, instead the gym was almost empty but for one girl with long blonde hair and a pink dress.

"Excuse me where's the gym leader Lexi?" Neil asked.

"Oh you're the next challenger Neil right?" The woman asked

"Yah how did you.." Neil was cut off.

"She has something special in store for you" the woman smiled as she pressed a bottom. The entire gym become shrouded in mist.

"What?" Neil asked as he groped around in the mist.

The mist cleared and a bunch of girls wearing pink gym uniforms appeared in front of him in a flowery field.

"This is your gym trial" a girl with dark skinned and brown hair said as she threw him a long red stamp.

"You'll have to leave that stamp mark on all 20 of us if you want a chance to battle Lexi" the girl said to Neil.

A vein appeared on Neil's forehead as he thought to himself (if there's something I hate more than anything else it's physical labor especially when it came to running again!)
Neil chased after all girls while screaming something about calculus.

Back to the present
After chasing down all the girls and leaving the stamp mark on various parts of their bodies, Neil stood victorious at the center of the field.
The ground opened up and out came a satisfied looking Lexi with her signature blue shirt and skirt wearing a white cape and white stockings, Her black ponytail now curlier then before, she opened her pink eyes to see a tired and angry looking Neil in satisfied with her beautiful entrance.

"Don't be mad Neil, the trials are just a way to ward off unworthy opponents, you know since I rather battle strong minded trainers instead of weaklings" Lexi said with a aura of grace.

"Whatever let's just do this!" Neil shouted as he prepared a pokeball.

The referee was the girl who gave Neil the marker her name was Olive. "Battle start!" She shouted.

"Come out wigglytuff show us your love!" Lexi said as she released a giant pink rabbit like Pokemon from her pokeball.

"Combusssss!" Combusken once again came out by force from it's pokeball.

"Nope! You're sitting this one out! Golbat go!" Neil shouted as he sent out his giant blue bat from its pokeball.

"Gol!!!" The bat shouted as it flapped it's wings

Combusken the fire chicken sat on the flowery field feeling anger at her trainer for not using her instead.

"Wigglytuff, play rough!" Lexi said as her rabbit ran at the bat and started clobbering it with a pinkend fist.

"Wigwigwiggly tuff" the rabbit said as it landed blow after blow on the bat.

"Golbat poison fang" Neil said calmly still analysing the situation.

The bat sunk it's purple fangs into the rabbits and poisoned it instantly.

"No! let go! Wigglytuff use play rough again!" Lexi begged.

"Counter with wing attack!" Neil ordered.

Matching attack with attack Golbat avoided damage by swatting away wigglytuff's only remaining fist.

"Wiggg......." Wigglytuff said as it succumbed to the poison and fainted.

"Wigglytuff is unable to battle! Neil takes the round on this 4v4 battle" Olive said.

"You did your best baby, thanks" Lexi said as she returned wigglytuff back into it's ball.

"Keep it up Golbat just a little more" Neil encouraged his Pokemon having ba secret strategy for using Golbat so far.

"Gol!" The bat said happily grinning with it's huge mouth.

"Ribombee show them your butterfly blitz!" Lexi sent out her next Pokemon a cutesy looking bee wearing a ribbon
Neil took out his pokedex

Ribombee the been fly Pokemon, it's pollen puffs are edible and make for a powerful punch when in battles

"Watch out for the pollen and use screech!" Neil ordered as his bat started using a hyper Sonic scream to attack.

"Bug buzz!" Lexi said as ribombee unleashed a torrent of hyper Sonic sounds as well hitting Golbat. Hitting it and stopping it's scream.

"Pollen puffs full power" Lexi said as she raised her hands to the sky.

"Ribommmm!" Ribombee shouted as it released a barrage of purple balls at Golbat.
Some puffs hit the ground instead of hitting the target but had an effect on the flowers as they began to glow.

Golbat was hit and retreated to the skies after recovering.

"Damn! Don't let up, wing attack!" Neil said as he was being pushed into a corner.

"Ribombee use Pollen puff" Lexi commanded and the bee sent out a huge purple bombs.

"Hit it back!" Neil said and Golbat hit back the puff at the bee.

"Block it with silver wind!" Lexi ordered.

"Beeeee!" Ribombee covered itself in sliver dust as the pollen bomb hit it and exploded.

"Now!" Neil shouted and Golbat went to action. entering the fog cause by the explosion.

"Golgolggool!" The bat released a flurry of wing attacks while Lexi couldn't see a thing.

"Ribombee!" Lexi cried as her bee Pokemon fell to the ground unconscious.

"Ribombee is unable to battle, Neil wins the round" Olive said again.

"Ribombee thanks for trying" Lexi once again called back her Pokemon.

"Golbat take a breather" Neil recalled his bat.

"Marill water him down!" Lexi sent out her third Pokemon a water mouse with a long tail.

"Snare go!" The purple haired scientist brought out his Snover.

"Aqua ring now!" Lexi stayed on guard as the mouse released a stream of water on the flowery field.

"Razor leaf, Snare!" Neil said.

"Snoooo!" The Snover shot out multiple sharp leaves at the mouse cause suer effective damage.

"Mmaaaa" the mouse cried as it fell backwards defeated.

(No way! that thing was under leveled? Why did she send it out)

"Marill is unable to battle Neil wins this round as well" Olive says again.

"Snare return, Golbat go back" Neil made a switch. While combusken looked confused.

"Thanks Marill, you've done your part" the fairy girl said as she returned her mouse to it's pokeball.

"Now for my final ace in the hole, Florges time to have get a happy ending" she unleashed a giant flower Pokemon with a white face and a giant blue bouquet of flowers on it's neck, white hands and giant green leaves coming from it's feet.

Neil took out his dex and searched.
Florges the garden Pokemon, it normally stays in garden areas where they draw power from the flowers.

"Alright Golbat wing attack!" Neil ordered and the bat launched itself at the flower being.

"Flower guard" the Raven haired maiden said as the flowers in the garden glowed brighter.

"Flo" Florges said happily as power entered it's body and created a giant shield of flowers that trapped Golbat.

"Golbat!" Neil shouted.

"Moonblast point blank range!" Lexi ordered.

"Floooooooo!" The flower released a huge beam of light pink energy at the bat, the power of the flowers contributed a lot to the attack.

When the fog from the beam faded a purple bat with four wings was there in the place of the blue bat Golbat.

"No way it tried to evolve to survive the blast, but...." Neil said with sad tone.

"Golba ....I mean Crobat is unable to continue thus, the round goes to Lexi"
Olive said.

"Wow Neil apart from the appearance of your Pokemon they sure have the will of warriors"Lexi praised Neil.

"Yah thanks, I take it as you saved your Florges for last because of this strategy" Neil said as he recalled the newly evolved Crobat.
(She started this entire flower thing first with using pollen puff then increased their vitality with aqua ring, she's a tricky one, alright, time to use my own tricks) he thought to himself.

"Snare use ice punch!" Neil shouted as he sent out an enraged Snover with a glowing blue fist"

"Snooooover!!!" Snare yelled as he hit the flower straight in the chest.

"Futile! Florges petal blizzard!" Lexi ordered and the flower being unleashed a tornado of pink petals that threw snare into the air damaging it.

"Don't let up! Use blizzard to propel yourself at her!" Neil shouted.

"Snooooo!" Snare released a high pressure torrent of freezing winds at the ceiling as it plummeted at Florges.

"Florges flower guard!" Lexi said as flowers shield Florges.

"Feel the power of our combo move! Ice man's comet!" Neil shouted as Snover landed on the flower shield and broke it however....

"No way" Neil said as he looked at Florges, after the flower guard was broken another layer of protection was added.

"Guess Florges's ability has activated flower veil!"Lexi laughed.

"Now finish it with moonblast!!!" Lexi shouted as her Pokemon released another blast of moon energy at it's opponents.

Snare fainted immediately from the blast.
"Snover is unable to battle, thus the round goes to Lexi" Olive said.

"Snare you did well now, it's time to start testing the theory" Neil said as he returned him.

Combusken stood up ready for action but.
"Nope you're the last resort, fighting types are weak to fairy so I can't use you yet" Neil explained as he sent out another Pokemon. Combusken pouted and sat back down.

"Meowstic, it's you and me!" Neil said as Meowstic appeared from the pokeball.

"Florges petal blizzard" Lexi ordered and the flower being made a tornado of pink petals however....

The icy wind still resonating in the air was added to the tornado freezing it along with all the flowers on the ground as well.

"What!" Lexi shouted.

"Finally meowstic use psychic!" Neil yelled.

"Meoooooow!!!" The psychic cat cried at it used it's abilities to lift Florges from the ground.

"No Florges!" Lexi cried

"Meowstic finish this" Neil shouted with all his might.

Meowstic reached the top of the ceiling of the gym while holding Florges and flung it too ground shattering the ice and causing even more damage for the flower being.
The icy mist cleared showing Florges fainted on the ground.

"Florges is unable to battle the winner is the challenge Neil!" Olive said.

"Yosh! We did it!" Neil said as he lifted combusken from the ground cause the chicken to shout as well.

"Meeeowstic!" The psychic cat said as she took a pose.

"Florges sorry for failing you" Lexi said as she hugged her partner and returned it back.

"Well Neil, you've shown me that even uncute Pokemon can be strong, though I can't bear to train them myself...." Lexi said with a little chuckle.

"Yah, yah my badge, if you don't mind" Neil said with his hand stretched out.

"Oh silly me, here you go the Sylphid badge" Lexi said handing him a black badge with purple markings on it.

"Nice my third gym badge, and i also got a ribbon from the contest so this town ain't half bad" Neil said giving a smile.

"I'd like to challenge you to a Pokemon contest when you return to the town" Lexi said smiling.

"Likewise" Neil said as he was leaving the gym.

"Say hi to Corrin for me!" Lexi said waving.

"Sure ....i guess" Neil said confused.

Narcissus town exit
As Neil prepared to leave a figure appeared before him.

"You again! What? aren't they other people that need to be ninja'd!" Neil said sarcastically to the red haired ninja.

"My master was pleased with your progress here so he gives you this" the ninja said as he tossed Neil an object.

"Whose your master? And what the hell is this?"

"You'll know soon when you continue your journey" the ninja said as he disappeared again.

Neil shrugged his shoulders and moved forward onto the next frontier.
