Y/N and Red observer team Rockets Gunts above a ledge. As the Rocket Gunts approached two dark paths. They separate in two groups going on the right and the one on the left. The Rocket Gunts enter their separate paths.

Y/N: "Crap he wasn't lying they are in two places, in this cave. One of them is a decoy, but we can't take any chances. Maybe we should inform the police about this situation."

????: "Get away! Get away from me these fossils are mine!!" The two boys can hear an echo further in MT. Moon but can't tell which side to go.

Y/N: "There's really no time to waste we have to act now."

Red: ".........." Red nodded his head. Red tapped Y/N's shoulder pointing to the path on the right.

Y/N: "You're thinking the same thing aren't you. You think we should spit up."

Pikachu: "Pika!"

Y/N: "Sorry Pikachu is the only way. We can't take any chances. And don't worry you and I both know how strong Red is."

Red's Pikachu: "Pika!"

Charmeleon: "Char!"

Pikachu gives in on their decision and nods it's head to the plan. Y/N jumped down running to the right path, while Red headed left.

As Y/N continue forth the right path, he ran up on another trainer that's being attacked by a team Rocket Gunt.

Hiker Marcos: "Come on out Onix!" The hiker pulled his Pokèball out his pocket.

Rocket Grunt: "Quick Rattata use scratch! Rattata dash towards the Hiker's hand. The hiker quick response pushing the Rattata back. He clicked on the button on his Pokèball but it wouldn't respond.

Hiker Marcos: "what the" The hiker look at his Pokèball to see it being scratch and damage. "Curse you! You struck my Pokéball." The trainer couldn't summon his Pokémon. The Rocket Gunt then summon his Zubat to join the fray.

Rocket Grunt: "Zubat and Rattata finish him!"

Y/N: "Pikachu Used thundershock!" A jolt of electricity hurled at Zubat and Rattata, causing Zubat to faint and Rattata to become paralyzed.

Hiker Marcos: "A kid! What is a kid doing here!?

Y/N: "Are you alright! These thugs won't bother you anymore I and my friend came to save you guys!"

Hiker Macros: "Are you crazy you know the situation that's going on here! Get an adult! Kids like you shouldn't be here!"

Rocket Grunt: "He's right! Haven't your mother ever taught you not to get in grownups business! Little kids shouldn't be messing around with grown-ups! It could be bad news!

Y/N: "It might not be my business but my mom taught me those who stand by and watch someone gets hurt by the bully, are even bigger scum!" Pikachu used quick attack at the Gunt's Rattata finishing it off.

Rocket Grunt: "That's it you done it now! Now I'm steamed! The Rocket Gunt pulled out his whip charging towards Pikachu only for Y/N to run up on him jabbing him, knocking the Rocket Gunt out.

Y/N: "She also taught me how to fight too!" The hiker's mouth drop in complete shock.

Hiker Marcos: "They went that way!"

Red's POV

Red followed up the path climbing around another ledge to observe the situation.

Red was in shock to see how horrific these people were. Team Rocket had a set of hostages. Wrapped around in ropes and it wasn't the types of ropes that would help them escape neither.

Rocket Grunt: "Where are the fossils!" The hostages began to weep in fear when he summoned his Zubat out. "Do you want this bloodsucker to suck you up like tomato juice! Stop playing games and tell me!"

Rocket Grunt 2: "Yeah like tomato juice!"

Youngster Josh: "I don't know I only came all the way down here to show off to girls!"

Older man: "Wait till Brock of Pewter City's Gym leader! find out about this!"

Rocket Grunt: "Why would you think he would waste his time in this cave."

Older man: "Because he's a man unlike you! He actually sometimes lends me a hand, so the odds of him showing is a high possibility!"

Rocket Grunt: "Shut up!"

Rocket Grunt 2: "Shut it boi!"

The Rocket Gunt pulled out the whipped and smack the older man.

Rocket Grunt: "Nice try, trying to scare us but there's no way we're on the radar neither Pewter or Cerulean city know about this movement. And as long as none of you chumps make it out of here alive! We can keep it that way!"

Rocket Grunt 2: "Yea!"

Suddenly another team Rocket Gunt ran inside the post exhausted.

Rocket Grunt 3: "We have a problem some nerd found the fossils and we lost him! What's worst he found out about us!"

Rocket Grunt: "What! Are you kidding me! You had one job! One! And you let him get away! How? HOW? Oh, I know! Let me guess you were doing that dumb Rocket speech that ridiculous trio been doing! Ever since they been assigned to watch us you guys get dumber and dumber!"

Rocket Grunt 2: "Yeah Y'all keep getting dumb.....wait what?"

Suddenly The Rocket Gunts walkie talkie started buzzing. "Speaking of the devil!" The Rocket Gunt pulled out a walkie-talkie picking up communication on the other line. (Buzz...Buzz) "Well! Well! Well! Guess who decided to communicate now are you done with your break is (Over!)

????: (Buzz....) "Heard you found the fossils about time, now I'm starting to see why you need to be managed (over)." The Rocket Gunt looked at the Gunt who just ran inside here, shaken his head in annoyance realizing he went to them first.

Rocket Grunt: "Oh what a surprise you would hit me up when we found the fossils! (Over)."

????: "I only speak to you when you're voice is relevant to me. I don't take those who career will soon be (Over)."

Rocket Grunt: "Well they're not on deck if you wanna do something useful why don't you help us go fletch the fossils. Your break is (Over!)"

????: "Isn't that what you're here for? I mean who's wearing white here? Oh, that's right I am! Case (Over!)"

Rocket Grunt: "And Cassidy still a higher rank than you! She's laughing at you, as she waits for you to soon be done and (Over!")

????: "Well at least I have a name. (Over!")

Rocket Grunt: "........you"

????: "If we don't get these pointless rocks I'll make sure the boss knows you fail again then we'll see if you have a payday then! Career (Over!")

Rocket Grunt: "You know what screw you! You're B rank and your still trash! Unlike you I'm smart! I'm gonna be something big in this rocket gang! The person on the other line cut him off while he was talking. "Tsk bitch! Everyone head out expect you two! Head back and enter the path on the right!"

Rocket Grunt 4: "Shouldn't we have more of our ranks watch the hostages.

Rocket Grunt: "Don't question me!"

Rocket Grunt 2: "........"

Rocket Grunt 5: "Man shut up every since James gave you that walkie-talkie you been acting like you all big and mighty. And Jarrett won't get your Pokèballs out his mouth!"

Rocket Grunt: "Well is obvious isn't it if I got the portable radio to do all the talking for the squad what do you think it is!"

Rocket Grunt 6: "you do this every time they give you the communications."

Older man: "I just wanna let you guys know my son is a marriage counselor maybe he can help you guy."

Rocket Grunt 3: Stop guys we need to focus. We are made up of six men. And all these hostages have their own Pokémon if one of them get their hands on one of their Pokèballs were screw. All we have to do is simply make the scientist believe he's responsible to save these people and bribe him for the fossils. be serious If this keeps up we'll fail so bad that a little kid will beat us." Suddenly small set pellets of flames dashed towards the Gunts Zubat!"

The six Gunts look up to see a boy in red jumping down with his Pokémon.

Red: "..............."

Rocket Grunt: "Oh is just a little boy, look here kid we're Team Rocket! We're gonna find the fossils! Reviving Pokémon from them will earn us huge riches! Rattata use quick attack!"

The other Gunts started to summon their Pokémon. They all had two Pokémon each making red face off against twelve pokemon. Six Zubats swarmed above Red diving below. Red's Pikachu jumped up using thundershock. The electric connected and struck three of them. The other two chased Red. As he was running he can see three Rattatas using quick attack. Red jumped up but was meant with two Zubats using life leech. After three Zubats suck Red's blood it made him a little dizzy messing up his landing. As one Rattata's charged at Red his Pikachu charged in with a quick attack. Red force he's fire red spirit to be his strength. He summoned Poliwirl and quickly command it to used bubble. One of the Rocket Gunts jumped down from above with their whip.

Red rowed to evaded. He looks and sees them all pulling whips out. Red also saw wild paras nearby. Red dashed overthrowing a Pokéball at it being an instant catch then summon it right after using stun spore to parlayed two Rattatas and Rocket Gunts.

Rocket Grunt: "You did it now! Kid!" The Gunt came above Charmeleon came to the side using metal claw. Red and his Pokémon were back to back as the last remaining members circle around Red. "Now you made me mad! Team Rocket will blacklist you!"

Despite these tricks, Red was back into a wall but suddenly a group of dancing Clefairies appeared before them. As the moon rose and shine making this cave from dark to light beautiful. It was so gorgeous Red would make this home. Even the Rocket Gunt we're stunned by this view. But suddenly the peace went away when one of the Rocket Gunts tired to tame it. All the others reacted and every man with black with a red "R" in the middle of their shirt became a target. They all began to waggle their fingers triggering moves that they never even had.

Rocket Gunt 3: "Oh no the clefairies are using metronome. Who know what they're do!" The clefairies dominated the Rocket gunts.

Y/N POV

Two Rocket Gunts were jumping a clefairy that lost its group. They threw a net at it. Trapping it.

Rocket Grunt: "It shouldn't be all too bad to make an extra penny on the side."

Rocket Grunt 2: "Yeah!" Suddenly a Pokèball sprung towards the hurt clefairy absorbing it. It was an easy catch due to it being jumped.

Rocket Grunt: "What the!" Suddenly the Pokèball was transported to someone's pc saving it from the goons before them.

Y/N: "Said the people who do all those things! Pikachu used Thunder Wave!" Y/N skydive knocking them out as they were paralyzed. "I really don't like using Pokémon moves on people Pikachu so let's be a little safer"

Pikachu: "Pikapi!" Pikachu pointed at a paranoid scientist, holding placing two rocks down.

Y/N: "Hey you are you alright! Look this place is dangerous right now you have to get out of here!" Y/N reached for the rocks to move them out the way.

Super Nerd Miguel: "Hey You! I found these fossils! They're both mines!"

Y/N: "What!?" The nerd summons out a slimy, amorphous blob-like Pokémon with a purple sludge body, that contains a verity of pungent bacteria. It had large eyes with beady pupils, with a gaping mouth and a grey tongue. It lacks legs but had two arms and three-digit fingers.

Super nerd Miguel: "this the last battle we have to do grimer! So just hang in there!" His Pokémon look beaten and exhausted. It made Y/N very upset to see him pushing his Pokémon so far. It made Y/N so aggravated seeing people misused Pokémon so much he accepted the battle to prove a point.

Y/N: "Thundershock!" Pikachu hurled its electric current making grimer faint. Super nerd Miguel looks at his other two Pokéballs but knew there was no point in summoning them. "Look I don't know how important these stupid rocks are but I know one thing myPokémon that is here and alive by my side is more important than any item! So stop treating them like tools. Y/N finally understood why Red brought that Magikarp not because he wanted it but to give it a better trainer someone who wouldn't abandon it. The nerd felt Y/N's speech. He looks back at his fossils and knew that one of these rocks will be destined to do great things for this boy's legacy.

Super nerd Miguel: "Sigh, Okay! I'll share!

Y/N: "Huh!?

Super nerd Miguel: "Don't make me repeat myself! We'll each take a fossil! No being greedy! Go ahead this is just my way of saying I get it." The nerd looks back at his grimer returning it back in its Pokèball. Y/N smile and decided to take the shell-like fossil.

Super Nerd Miguel: "So you decided to take the Dome Fossil. Well, this one is mine then!"

Y/N: "Hmph Okay...why do team Rocket want these so bad?"

Super Nerd Miguel: "That's because far away, on cinnabar island there's a Pokémon lab. They do research on regenerating fossils.

Y/N: "So that's why they want these so they can resurrect Pokémon! I gotta go find Red!"

????: "Stop right there! Those fossils are Team Rocket's! Two team Rocket members jumped blasted there way from behind as Y/N and Pikachu got in front the nerd. Unlike the other Team Rocket members, Y/N faced these members were wearing white, with a pink "R" in the middle of their shirts.

One was a female the other was a male. The female had long magenta color hair that curled in a comet-tail behind her head, with green pearl earrings that complement her blue sapphire eyes.

The male who held a rose had shoulder length lavender hair with a single fringe sprouting from the center and green eyes.

There was also a Feline Pokémon with a cream-colored fur that turns brown at the tips of its hind paws and tail. It's Ovid's head features four prominent whiskers, wide eyes with slit pupils, two pointed teeth in the upper jaw, but stand out Most was that gold oval coin embedded in its forehead.

Y/N: "You punks don't know when to quit!"

????: "Quit that's not how we row hit boys!"

Y/N: "What the heck....was that? It's it me or did I watch too many action hero shows! And did that Meowth just stay something!

Meowth: "Meowth....?"

Y/N: "never mind."

Jessie: "Ekans kill him!"

James: "Easy Jessie no need to be so rough, I prefer to do it smoothly, Koffing join in on the flow." James calls fourth a spherical pokémon filled with toxic gases, with vacant eyes and a wide mouth.

As soon as koffing came out James Pokèball it unleashed an obscuring cloud of smoke Y/N covers his noise but suddenly Ekans emerged attacking Y/N while he was inside. Y/N and Pikachu jumped back escaping the cloud and dodging Ekans.

Y/N: "Tsk, Pikachu used quick attack! Pikachu charged at Ekans but because Pikachu's vision was a little off it missed completely. Ekans didn't even need to dodge.

James: "Good job Koffing, smokescreen is perfectly in effect.

Jessie: "Great now Ekans let have it use wrapped!" Charged up and wrapping its self around Pikachu. While Koffing rushes over to unleash poison gas poisoning Pikachu. Y/N pulled one of his other Pokèballs from out its Pokèball.

Y/N: "Come forth and help Pikachu Butterfree and used confusion!" Butterfree unleashes its telekinetic force being super effective to Koffing causing it to be confused. "So you wanna jump my Pikachu then two can play it that way! Pikachu used Thundershock! Even know Pikachu was poison it's thundershock was able to save itself from the wrap. Pikachu ran back to Y/N as he quickly gave Pikachu a antidote.

Jessie: "Why you! Ekans go used bite! Ekans dashed towards Y/N and Pikachu only for Koffing to tackle Ekans due to is confusion. "What are you doing idiot!?"

James: "It wasn't me!"

Y/N: "Pikachu finish it off with Thundershock!" As Pikachu was about to unleash its hurled of electricity. Y/N quickly command Pikachu to stop when he see James getting behind the nerd with a pocket knife.

James: "Easy now bad boy were just trying to play nicely. Just gives us the fossils and everyone walks at the end.

Jessie: "Nice going James!"

Meowth: "Meowth!" Metowth had a sleazy smile along with the Jessie and James.

Y/N though to himself these members are the most difficult he faced he ran through them all as if they was paper. But these crooks are no different when it comes to strength but a lot more constructive and smart. The girl was strong and wild with her attacks while the purple hair one was technical and can cover for her weakness but lacked attacks. They made a great duo, since they were team Rocket members that just made them more dangerous.

Super Nerd Miguel: "Don't let them take the fossils they will abuse them for sure!"

Jessie: "Shut it! Now surrender boy!"

Y/N: "I'm sorry dude." Y/N pulled out the fossil and as he was walking to hand over the fossils. Suddenly another Thundershock struck James letting go of the nerd. Y/N look up and seen Red standing above with a group of clefairies. "Red!" Y/N smile as his friend commanded Pikachu to prepare another Thundershock. "Yeah I know!" Y/N just knew exactly what Red wanted him to do after all they been friends since the very beginning. "Pikachu used Thundershock!" Y/N pointed at Red's Pikachu and Y/N's Pikachu let it rip.

Jessie: "Ha idiot it seems the boy join Team Rocket!" The electricity flow through Red's Pikachu powering its sp attack. "What!"

Y/N: "He's Pikachu ability it's lightning rod which gets a boost from any electric attack! Now Pikachu used Thundershock on Team Rocket.

Red: "........." Red Pikachu unleashed it's power up Thundershock together with Y/N's Pikachu. The Thundershocks were so strong that it blasted the trio literally out the MT. Moon. As they flew high into the air they started crying and complaining.

Jessie: "A brat beat us?" Seriously!

James: "This is totally gonna look bad in our resume."

Meowth: "Meow!" Meowth sheds a tear with James.

Jessie & James: "Team Rocket is blasting off!!"

Team Rocket left a sparkle in the sky as the two boys and nerd watch them disappear.

Y/N: "Wow! I think we over did it! A little.

Red: ".........."

Later Y/N and Red left MT Moon continuing on their journey without boosting about their heroic acts. Because it didn't mean anything to them. The ones who were saved by the boys did all the talking for them retelling the tale how two boys who soon will be legends save them years ago.
