*Years before Y/N's Adventures*

In his own laboratory Oak tries to focus to no use his young grandson with his eyes lunch at him.

Oak: "Did you enjoy watching the Pokémon battle?"

Blue: "Yes! It was amazing! No I mean you're amazing!!" Blue jump into the air then roll down and ran in circles with his arms out in a plane form. "You're Pokémon where so powerful, it was so cool watching your Pokémon beat those dark scary looking ones!!"

Oak: "Ya yeah Agatha's Pokémon where quite tricky, my normal signature moves where ineffective and I had to discover new strategies."

Blue: "Can you do new battles I wanna see them up close!" Blue hop up and down. Oak look over at the tv, then back at his grandson.

Oak: "Is that so, but what about you?"

Blue: "Me?" Oak pointed at the Tv and when he look the pendant shine among the show, as the real one appear right in front of his sight. Oak dangle the real one in front of his face and smile.

Oak: "Because I see a champion my boy." Blue turned back at Oak and the torch was passed onward. Blue held it tightly as he stared back at the TV.

"He was once... The Strongest Trainer In The Entire World. And then he told me I was next.

And then there I was making things happen.

*Some time after embarking on my journey, Viridian Forest we met a Rattata.*

Blue: "Well if it's just a Rattata let's catch it Eevee!"

Eevee: "Evoli!"

Ouick Attack a signature that always strikes first, a good balance between power, speed timing. Rattata was a little too average but excellent in that respect. It was low level so I didn't want to throw him out into the ring too earlier, and reason why I didn't use him against those third strings. Red is close but Y/N is... that's why I stayed close to rattata let em out his ball more than usually, and train and spent time with em.

It was that day when I witnessed it

Eevee who was very fussy about her meals gave her favorite food to Rattata.

Oak: "Oh Blue I'm surprise you called."

Blue: "Of course I called! What kinda grandson you think I am?"

Oak: "The one who comes when they need something...haha haha!"

Blue: "Tch!"

Oak: "I'm just kidding you know!" Blue sent over his info online to Oak as he chuckles. "I see you've 47 Pokémon, well done! I'll have to reward you for your effort.

Blue: "Is it like the last one?" Blue ask with a expressionless stare." As Oak sweat bullets. "Why does something tells me completing the Pokédex isn't worth the trouble."

Oak: "Oh come on Blue don't be like that, there's something in the end line for your path as a trainer."

Blue: "Well alrighty then... we'll now!" Blue cough as making seem like he came to show off his Pokédex was the plan to make it seem as he didn't call him for because of his need. "Since well we're online together I wanted to ask, Eevee actually share her food today with Rattata, I've been noticing some odd behaviors between my Pokémon, should I take some sort of-"

Oak: "Aye yes! Nice observation pay close attention to when trust is born."

Blue: "You seem to know what I was about to ask." Blue impressed by his grandfather.

Oak: "Of course I've been through my own bonds of course also I know my Grandson only comes when he needs something! Hahahahaha!" Blue grin and sights as his grandfather chuckled. "While you're traveling you will encounter many Pokémon some may join your team correctly. Many ties exist between living creatures so it is important for a trainer to recognize with bonds arise between their Pokémon.

I thought he was saying something obvious but...
Even among humans we can struggle to understand each other... just like with Red, and Y/N
It's quite amazing that creatures of different species can accept each other so easily.

It's not particularly dramatic or touching but it's interesting to see these kind of being forge.

Blue look down to see his Rattata below nibbling upon his pendant.

Blue: "Hey you left a mark, see?" Blue calmly showed his Pokémon his pendant. "Hmm? This catch your attention? Blue smile showing all his Pokémon. "This is what my Grandfather wore when he became Champion of the Pokémon league. I will become the strongest trainer. This is a reminder of that goal.

Rattata eyes sparkle of motivation.

*Sometime later I ended up losing to Y/N*

Blue: "Seriously what's with him it's like his strength is made up! I don't understand how I lose to the guy that Red can easily beat but I beat Red. "Hmm let's like a odd triangle going on. "No that's not it. It's that damn Pikachu it's electric attacks are super effective and speed is sharp! Huh?"

Rattata made a upset annoying expression as Blue sighs and smiles.

Blue: "Well can I count on you to handle that pikachu?" Blue pulled out a vitamin case and said this is the last Carbos, once you take this your speed will reach its true capabilities, but know this his Pikachu also knows quick attack.

Rattata: Ratt!!" Rattata fuel with energy to make Blue proud.

And then it seem to all pay off those bonds that is, Rattata no all my Pokémon were fuel to take him down.

Blue: "Hey! Y/N I've got a little eager today. So how about it."

Y/N: "Hmph?"

Blue: "A serious battle."

Y/N: "......So you're gonna finally stopped making excuses every time you lose to me?"

Y/N: "Pikachu!!" Y/N cried out!

Pikachu: "Pikkkkaaaaa!!!!" Pikachu burst out a strong shocking thundershock, so strong the lights cut for a set, Lucky if it wasn't for Surge's build in electricity support system he equipped to the ship the lights lighted back up.

Once the electricity finish up Pikachu was unconscious in large rodent Pokémon mouth. Blue's Pokémon look like entire different Pokémon with It  tawny colored cream underside, large incisors, three whiskers on each side of its face, webbed feet with three toes, long and scaly tail, and ragged ears.

Blue: "Rattata, you evolve into Raticate, nice work pal!"

Green: "EEEEEEWWWWW!!! What is that hideous freak of nature!" Green cried out.

"Was it a coincidence? No he really wanted me to win...no he wanted me to be the best!"
You...you evolved! I feel as if you really understood my goal.
So this is what this is, Pokémon and people can communicate their feelings to each other

*A Event That Happened During Y/N's Return To Cerulean*

Blue POV

Blue halfway already passed out his way from route 9, and press on. Blue sighs letting his Pokémon out for a break.

Blue: "Hey guys I got you all some food I'll just need to prep everything before we enter that cave." Blue's Pokémon dance of joy in their own perceptive way.

Wartortle performed a back flip before taking a swim to wait for its meal, Kadabra sat down meditating with its spoon floating in the air with telekinesis, and Raticate walk up on Blue.

Blue: "Raticate! The food isn't ready yet!"

Raticate: "Raaa!!" Raticate cuddles Blue's leg as he sighs with red cheeks.

Blue: "Fine!" Blue smile giving in while scratching his head. "If I take you out for a walk in little bit later will you give in?"  Raticate soak with enthusiasm cheer with a bright smile.

Raticate: "Raaa Catee!"

Blue: "Okay then it's settled haha haha!!"

Later we went out for a walk after eating, the others wanted to be left be in their poké-balls but Raticate wanted to scroll just as I promised and then.

Blue: "So this Rock tunnel? I heard it was very dark good thing I've acquired Flash TM, but who to teach it to? Hm?"

?????: "Huuuggggaaaaa!!!"  Howling from nearby
quadruped, canine creature. With bruise orange fur with black stripes along its back and legs. Cream-colored muzzle, chest, belly, and tail.

Raticate suddenly ran off following the racket noises. Blue follow to see Raticate has discovered one of the trucks team rocket uses to smuggle Pokémon.

Blue: "...... You want to help them?" Blue look left and right, "It seems there's no one around but....."

Team Rocket....they're a criminal gang that illegally traffics Pokémon and sells them on the black market. Just getting involved in their matters is dangerous... the right move would be to ignore this and move on. I should return Raticate to his Pokéball and leave this place....

Blue: "Raticate. Hyper Fang!" Raticate jump up at the cage trap, bites hard on the bars with its sharp front fangs in a fellow sloop. The Pokémon immediately burst out running for their lives as they scatter into the forest. Blue sighs embarrassed, "Honestly I would be lying.... if I said that moment, I wasn't thinking about what.... he would do....Tch, he probably would have punch the ones responsible."

Quadrupedal canine: "Ggggrrrrrr!!!" The Quadrupedal Pokémon still nearby started barking.

Blue tilt his eyes with style at the approaching adults wearing black, with a "R" in the middle of their shirts. The one in the middle, a unordinary man with the same black uniform that had an "R" in the middle of his chest, purple hair. He smoke a cigarette that laid upon his mouth as it lights up as he blows out smoke from his sinister sleazy face. He takes it out his mouth and point at blue with it with a chuckle.

????: "You shouldn't interfere when adults are working kid.

Blue already knew a group of criminals wouldn't play fair and whip out all his Pokémon at the same time.

Blue: "If you can't stop a kid getting in the way of your job I suggest you change careers. Do you need a hand looking for a new one? The purple hair leader smirk as his eyes shrink showing his insanity. He however had a chill smile.

?????: "Wait, don't tell me... I supposed you think.... we're gonna going have a battle? As he jokes, Blue noticed a Koffing above him and his party near ledge hill. "Koffing Self-Destruction!" Koffing erupted burst as rubble plummeted down Blue.

Blue: "They don't just play dirty! They don't play at all! Wartortle Water Pulse," As Wartorle aim at the debris another Koffing sneak Blue and his party with explosion.

?????: "Bombs away." Koffing erupted at Blue's group knock them into the debris. "Hmm? Oh I see you command your Kadabra Reflect, right before the debris collapsed upon you all. But now look at you all now you are all finished. The mysterious man twirl two Pokéballs from his finger tips as two more Koffing spare at them. "Take this." The ruthlessly calm rocket grunt watch as his Koffings charge over to destroy a kid. Blue struggles to rise off his knee as he watch them approach him.

Blue: "Crap Wartortle and Kakabra....! Received the full impact of the blast?! !!" Blue and the quadrupedal canine Pokémon in a flash witness a light speed Raticate spear past them bouncing off one wall. The speed was so quick making its jump a majestic jump off the wall. Raticate caught one Koffing with its webbed feet and the other chump up into sharp teeth.

Raticate spins holding them and lunching them at the three rocket gang.

???? & Rocket Gang: "What?!!!"

The explosion dust worn off to see the three of them unconscious. Blue walk over putting Raticate that was coughing.

Blue: "Well done, Raticate."

Raticate: ".................." Raticate continuously breath heavily but nods.

Blue: "Good ... lets get going before more of them arrive." Blue quickly return Wartortle and Kadabra, as Eevee who was scared followed Blue. Raticate followed along behind.

In Rock Tunnel cave they travel the dark cave desperate with many difficulties, the Quadrupedal canine Pokémon followed as well.

Blue: "Don't follow us... you can go back to your home now. But the Pokémon assist with a cry to say along Blue sighs then gives in by whipping out a Pokéball. "Well then, will you become our torch?" It didn't take a sec for the Pokémon to learn flash while following Eevee. "So you're Growlithe? I would look at the rest of the data but nows not the time. Don't drop your guard until we've left the tunnel. "Eevee let Growlithe go I'm front. Raticate you watch our backs. Raticate nods be interrupt by even stronger coughs....

Blue: "Where out you guys we did it..."

*Thump*

...Regret having made that decision.

The cause of death... was biting Koffing just before it self-Destructed when it's at its most poisonous point. His body was ravaged from within due to being put under intense stress and traveling inside the cave for a long time without no rest.

I took him to his limit...

It was my naively and carelessness In judging the situation... that led to his death.

It was because I...

Was weak.

Y/N: "Blue...?"

Blue: "Y/N. Why have you come to a place like this? Did one of your Pokémon pass away?"

Pikachu: "Pika?"

Y/N: "What do you mean? They're all in top form! Huh?! Blue... that grave..."

Blue: "If they're alive, then I can at least make your Pokémon faint! Let's go!"
