End Volume 6: Summary and Q&A
Synopsis:
Leaf is recovering from a loss from the Pokémon Bike Racing Contest. She had an internal possession take place from the Pokémon Gastly who was with Jack at the time. Her demons had been exposed and her friends were shocked to witness this side of her. Yellow confides with her and helps her to understand that Pokémon are friends and that they mean no harm unless provoked by the trainer.
Leaf drops some of her Pokémon in the PC and informs the girl whom she encountered on the Bike Racing Contest Lorelei that there is an event that is about to take place that will change Kanto forever. She informs Leaf that she is a member of the Elite Four and is tasked with watching her on behalf of her father Autumn.
They soon embark with Brock and Misty into Rock Tunnel where Leaf and Red have a tender heart-to-heart about Pokémon and their intended purposes. The gang soon runs into a Triad Leader of the organization, Team Rocket. And are caught in a battle that pins against their very survival. Leaf defeat's Lt. Surge and his Pokémon Raichu. Surge then blows out the cave's entrance with his Voltorb. Preventing any measure for them to reach a Pokémon Center or finding an exit.
This event separates the group for the time being and they are left to pick up the pieces after surviving the cave-in with Brock's Onix.
Red and Yellow reach the basement floor and Brock comes up with a plan to dig below ground. The group runs into a Cubone inside a small minecart along the rails. The cart is kicked by one of Love's goons and Leaf and her friends are scooped up in a battle between them.
They drive the cart toward a long shaft below the cave. Surge intervenes by blowing out the rails and having them plummet toward their doom. Kidnapping Cubone in the process. Surge then makes his way toward Lavender Town. Leaf's friends must confront him at Pokémon Tower before he procures Cubone for good.

Authors Note—
This week has been a pretty rough one for me. I don't feel comfortable disclosing it here publicly in front of everyone. Especially since it was a bit of a personal tragedy. Let's just say that it was a pretty dark day a few days ago. So, sorry if I wasn't able to deliver this on time this week like I was hoping too.
Despite the terrible week I had, I want to thank you all for helping me reach my goal of 1K upvotes!!! It happened on a better day when there was a ton of you guys going back into the book and making sure it was upvoted. It happened just as soon as I sent that message out! I thank you guys so much for the support. This book is getting a lot of people reading and there is soon to be a lot more as I continue to post.
27.1k reads so far from many different parts of the world and 4k comments total! We are going places guys and it makes me really excited to see what will happen in the coming years. I have a feeling that we may eventually reach 100K views at the rate we are going and with how big this book is. Let's continue to SHARE this book with our friends and COMMENT and UPVOTE for more chapters! The more we utilize these, the more the book becomes viewed in the algorithm.
I'm going to keep this as brief as I can, but I want to talk to you all about the Lavender Town arc and where I plan on going with it. I can't spoil anything that happens after, otherwise. Where's the fun in me writing it at all yeah know? ;)
The character arc of Blue is pretty much nearly done, there is still a lot of characterization soon after, of course, but he's the most developed. But I love where I went with this arc to introduce us, the readers, to the abominations on the floors of the Pokémon Tower.
My purpose in writing these is to build up tension, excitement and adventure, much like what Pokémon Adventures did with their manga, but imagine an anime Shonen of Pokémon. This from the very beginning was what I was trying to convey all the way up to these points. A story that is linear and chronological up to the end, but doesn't necessarily feel like it's too amateurish or cartoonish either.
I want to help Leaf's supporting characters grow in this story and that includes the other Poké Dex holders and I have plenty of time leading up to 200 parts to achieve it.
Suffice it to say, Blue is very well developed so far. In this arc he experiences a tragedy in Pokémon Tower on a theory we as fans of the Pokémon universe are all too familiar with. But I wanted to add my own spin on how he experiences this and so far it's been my best work. I am sure a lot of you are really enjoying the OC Penny that I created. I never really intended to know where to go with her, not until around the arc where my characters are swept into a crossover event in Volume 4 when I had an idea on where I wanted to take Blue. SPOILERS OF COURSE FOR NEW READERS. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ FROM THE BEGINNING UP TO VOLUME 5. I SUGGEST YOU DO SO BEFORE THIS PARAGRAPH.
There is a dynamic conflict going on between them and I wanted to explore that even more. Now that Penny had an altercation with him on the S.S. Anne. She made a threat to Blue that if he didn't take good care of his Pokémon; she would take them away from him.
A lot of us readers were unsure of what she meant by that, but I wanted it to be as vague as humanely possible. Plots lead to many different possibilities and sometimes we don't expect what outcome comes in the long run in this case, it was Blue's Raticate.
In this arc we learn a little more about his personality and his traits as a character. Blue is not usually the type of person that views Pokémon in the emotional aspects of them like Leaf. Due to his upbringing from Professor Oak. We understand why he was the way he is. The reason he can be cold and distant about Pokémon is made more clear in this arc then ever and it reveals a lot of layers that can continually be explored in order to further his development.
So in this next short upcoming arc we are going to be exploring the Poké Dex holders, Red and Yellow as they make their way toward Celadon City and try and infiltrate the Game Corner and peel back the reasoning behind Team Rocket's schemes.
I hope you enjoy these volumes, they carry a very massive story leading up to their final conclusion near the end and it is becoming more and more adventurous each time I write this story.
I love Pokémon and I love these characters and I am grateful that I've been able to escape into the Pokémon world through GameFreak's games with you guys. And I hope that you'll continue to escape with me as the reader through this grand, developing, epic adventure.
Sincerely,
-Bossun

Q&A
The clouds part ways and open door's on either side that lead into a white void. Four Characters make their appearance before the audience as each of them watch the teleprompter in front of them.
"He-hello everyone." Smiled Leaf with nervousness.
"We are just waiting for the will of Bossun to make sure we have questions ready for you. Are we ready oh great one?"
"You are ready." Nodded Bossun.
"Okay, erhm-hermm." Cleared Leaf's throat.
"I am going to ask some more questions. As you guys read them let me know what you answers—
"Just don't spoil the arc for others when they are getting started." Interjected Blue.
"I am trying to ask them questions here—
"What OC are you guys excited to see more of, Autumn, Jack, or—
"Don't spoil it!" Shouted Leaf with anger.
"What are we talking about?" Smiled Yellow.
"Shut it!" They shouted to Yellow in unison.
"Mmmkay."
"........What was your favorite arc in the book?" Said Red as he faded into the background.
"You finally speak!"
"..........."
"What is your favorite food?" Inquired Yellow with excitement.
"Mines, fish." Finished Leaf.
"Mines, Spaghetti." Affirmed Blue.
".............."
"Burgers.....I guess."
"Don't you touch my Spaggett!!!" Slapped Yellow across the back of Blue's head.
"Hey!—What the hell?!"
"What are some of your favorite Pokémon moments in this book?"
"Definitely Jigglypuff." Nodded Yellow.
"I concur." Smiled Leaf.
"Our intermission is nearly complete. We need to resume work. Are you guys nearly finished with the questions?" Inquired Bossun.
"Ah-crap! We didn't get to most of them on the teleprompter on time. Sorry about that Bossun." Bowed Leaf in respect.
"No worries, we'll make sure to get to it in the next arc, now everyone back to one. Places people."
"He pisses me off." Whispered Blue in Yellow's ear.
Yellow nods in approval.
