The picture above is my oc that will come later in the story. Her name is Fumika Mizushima, a Pokemon coordinator.

  A 4 year older Tory is looking around the garden for something.

  " Fire the laser!" a voice commanded.

  Four green lazer beams from inside the case onto the same green orb from four years ago

Two scientist hovered close to the glass, but behind the monitors checking the frequencies

" Raise our trajectory by .5" the man stated to the women by his side

" Right." The women exclaimed raising the bars until they were full and turned blue.

" That's the frequency. Finally, in sync." The man said

" That means-"

" Yes. The crystal should generate when we heat the laser on target." they stared at a faint green glow emitting from the stone.

" We will succeed. We have to." He said. The women nodded in agreement.

The light grew and grew until the bars on the monitor turned red, and a blinding light filled the whole room

The beams continued until they eventually started fading into nothing.

" We overloaded the regulator." The man said. The women ran over to check a different machine.

" Hmm." The girl pushed a few buttons lifting and separating a piece of the machinery.

After pressing a few more buttons she informed." It was just one small piece that malfunctioned. A simple replacement."

" Good. We'll try again after it's fixed." The professor said

" Yes sir."

Back in the garden, Tory turned around and smiled as he heard something. He knelt down.

" Guess what? I'm gonna tell you all about this book I'm reading, it's so good." he smiled to something.

At the lab, the scientists were slowly filing out of the room.

The women scientist was the last to go, but not before noticing how the green crystal pulsed eerily.

"Huh?" She narrowed her eyes. Her side pony moved with her. "I was right, I did see it glow." She said.

Way up North, over the frozen and icy ocean. Where the stars still shone, but the sun was no where in sight.

A crack appeared and spread out, farther and farther, until it shattered .

A massive swirl of water cracked and broke apart the surface of the sea as it rose, gaining height until the source of it lifted out it's reach.

Droplets shimmered and fell from it's four tentacles, two red and blue. The red shape jumped to attention, it's eyes open and wide.

It curled into itself, it's tentacles now hands, and then thrust it's hands out.

From the purple jewel in the center of it's chest, a purple diamond appeared. That diamond lifted up and into the sky, dispersing in a lovely and large aurora.

( Fumika's pov)

I glanced outside amazed as the train glided smoothly over the tracks above the sea.

" Look guys! A group of Seal and Dewgong! And Pelipper two!" I exclaim excitedly.

" Woah, you're right! It's amazing!" Ash agreed glancing out the window as well as the others.

" So where are we heading again?" May asked talking her eyes away from the view.

" LaRousse city! So that I can compete in the Battle Tower." Ash answered excitedly.

LaRousse city huh? I never expected to return like this. Last time I was here, the city was still developing.

" What do you think, Eevee? Amazing right?" I asked my partner on my shoulder.

" Bwee! Bwee!" Eevee cried out happily agreeing.

The train slipped out of the water and onto land. It curved around the feild of neatly arranged windmills.

The train landed in the station and we all headed down the escalators.

When we reached the bottom, a floating robot with one middle block, three blocks stuck to it's sides, and one final block behind the middle block.

The middle block had a green background with a cute-looking face on the top of the block

" Welcome." The robot greeted changing the blocks around it until each block held two letters in a pink color.

WE-LC-OM-E- The last letter was a small heart. The face changed to a symbol of LaRousse City-which was the battle tower with a small circle around it on top was a pokeball.

"You are now in Larousse City. Welcome, again!" It continued.

"Cool!" Ash said, running up to it. We friends followed as the block returned to it's original state.

" This place definitely lives up to its reputation of high technology." I stated.

"It's so cute!" Said May, clutching her fists up to her chest.

"A robot!" Max exclaimed, coming to stand by his sister.

"What could be better than that?" Ash asked.

"Pika!" His Pikachu agreed.

"Being greeted by a real live beautiful girl could be one thing." Brock mumbled.

" Yeah we all know that's impossible, Brock. Drop your fantasies." I replied, rolling my eyes.

The little cube-bot hovered up towards May. The top box opened and revealed a camera lens.

" Smile~" The robot sang at May, just before snapping a photo with a flash that left an unprepared May.

Then the box moved down to her brother and she was left looking at it with an "Aw" sort of sound-she wanted a retake.

Max just made a neutral face, Ash smiled while Pikachu was confused, Brock had a serious face, and I flashed a peace sign by my side while Eevee smiled.

The cube tucked the camera away and opened another box on it's side. This one had a small arm that handed out a small card to each trainer. "These will serve as your Passports!"

"Our Passports?" Ash echoed.

While in LaRousse City, keep them with you at all times!" The cube-bot beeped pleasantly. "Your Passports can be used for shopping and other needs!"

As the we continued walking, May stared at her Passport with a frown.

I have to admit, the picture was... bad. May was left with a goofy/scared grin on her face, as she hadn't been prepared for the photo in the first place.

" Don't think I'll be sending this one home." She snapped.

" Why sends them home anyways, May? This are for LaRousse only. There not the horrible." I said.

" Easy for you to say. Yours didn't turn out bad because you were prepared." May grumpily replied causing me to sigh.

Ash looked around. We had exited the train station and were walking around outside it.

"So, I wonder which way we go for the battle tower." Ash mumbled.

" Well Ash it's actually not that easy to miss considering-" I was cut off when Ash suddenly found himself being pulled sideways.

He yelled in surprise and looked down at the moving sidewalk at his feet, painted green with white arrows away from us.

Next to that one was a red one that sped by quickly, two arrows on that one, still pointed away from us.

Ash ran back to his friends as quick as he could, ultimately only managing to move onto the red one.

"Wah-ooo, helppppp!" He called, while Pikachu called out from his shoulder as he fell on his butt.

I sighs and stood here watching him try to swim up stream while the others decided supplied unnecessary commentary.

"Hey Ash, quit playing around!" May said, putting her fists on her hips.

" It's a moving sidewalk. How else do people get somewhere?" I stated.

Ash, now far away from the group, managed to get to his feet. He started to run-large, long strides, progressively getting him nowhere.

Two twins dressed in pink and yellow outfits passed him, giggling to each other.

A boy passed after them. A little rounded, he had tan skin with very dark blue hair along with a sweatband on his head. He wore a dark brown t shirt with an orange trim and beige shorts.

He had his hands in his pockets and watched Ash as he ran. "Dude, you're swimming upstream." He called.

It took me a while to recognize that it was Rafe, his sisters, and Sid. Wow, it's been 2 years since I last saw them.

Ash turned his head, slowing his pace to listen.

Rafe passed by after him. He had brown hair that seemed to fram his head and wore light blue clothes with a white trim. Rafe looked ahead as he said. "There is an easier way."

Ash sped up to rush back towards his friends. "Well if i ever get off of this thing then maybe you could show it to me!" He cried falling face first.

The man with the sweatband, Sid, commented. "Nice fall."

"Nice fall." The twin girls, Audrey and Kathryn repeated, laughing about it.

Eevee decided that it looked fun and jumped out of my hands onto the side walk." Eevee, come back here!" I chased after it!

I step on the plate between the two side walks and picked up Eevee." Eevee, that was dangerous! Don't ever do that again!" I scolded.

Eevee guiltily cried out from my hands and I sighed.

" Yo Fumika, don't be like that dude and start swimming up stream." The guy with the headband stated.

" Oh shut it, Sid! I can handle myself thank you very much." I pouted.

I grabbed a Pokeball from my bracelet and released Gardevoir." Gardevoir, if you please." I tilted my head to the other side.

Gardevoir nodded and touch my arm as a rainbow glow surrounded her. She teleported next to Sid with me and Eevee on my shoulder.

" See? What did I tell you?" I exclaimed as Sid freak when I suddenly spoke.

" That wasn't half bad, but I think your friend could use some help over there." Rafe said.

" Gardevoir, give him a hand please." I sighed shaking my head.

Gardevoir teleported in front of Ash and teleported him back to the right sidewalk.

" Hey thanks Fumika." Ash said.

" Yeah, sure. Don't worry about it." I responded.

"I bet she just couldn't continue watching you look like a fool." Rafe taunted.

" What?!" Ash screeched, before nearly tripping as the sidewalk ended and he stumbled back towards the gang.

" Fumika, Are they friends of yours?" May asked as I returned Gardevoir.

" You could say childhood friends. We used to play together when my family visited LaRousse city." I explained.

" It has been a while since then hasn't it. I see Eevee's growing up quite health." Rafe stated.

" Now then, let's head to the Battle Tower!.... Which way is that again?" Ash asked.

" Ash, It's literally the tallest building in plain sight. As i was trying to say before. Come on." I face palmed following Rafe and the others.

" My names Ash from Pallet town. How'd you like to battle with me?" Ash challenged.

" Watch out. My brother, Rafe, is really strong." Kathryn bragged.

" Blaziken two!" Audrey added raising her hand to Blaziken.

" I have to admit, Blaziken's been raised very well. It's coat has an amazing shine." I commented petting Blaziken head, who happily cried out.

" I'd love to battle with you, Ash. Let's get together at the Battle tower." Rafe accepted.

"So we're finally going to settle this today, right Rafe?" Rebecca interrupted from the red sidewalk.

" Wow you two are still going on about that? I've got to say I'm surprised to say the least." I said

A little ways behind, Brock clasped his hands together. "Hello, my bespectacled beauty." He chimed. "I'm Broc-"

"Stop!" Max interrupted, grabbing Brock by the ear as he lunged for the red one. This lead to Brock's ear being stretched out strongly as his legs had already made it to the red sidewalk and were trying to pull the rock type trainer along.

" Typical Brock. Goes after every girl he likes. You could say he's like a miniature you, Sid." I informed.

" As if!"

Brock fanned his swollen and red ear as Sid pointed a thumb to himself. "So, my names Sid. Blastoise is my partner." He proclaimed.

"Hi, I'm May." She pointed to her little brother. "And this is my brother, Max."

Syd leaned in uncomfortably close to May, a smile plastered to his face. "Say, you're kinda cute."

"Uh, kinda?"

But Max simply turned his head and moved so his glasses caught the light. "And kinda crazy, too." He murmured.

I gave a skeptical look towards Rafe. And he smirks and shrugs planning something.

"Look, the battle tower!" Audrey said, pointing to the massive tower that came closer and closer.

"Look Pikachu, it's right there." Ash said. He clenched his fists. "Oh, I can't wait!" He proclaimed.

"Pika!" Pikachu agreed.

The tower turned up to be a lot more than just a tower. The group ended up in a sort of mall-surrounded by escalators and people-along with their Pokemon, some shopping, some looking at maps given by those little cube-bots, some lounging, some rushing around, and some on the moving stairs.

"I'll be back." Ash was saying. "As soon as I'm registered." He said.

"Okay. And we'll head to the stands." Max said.

"See ya!" Ash called, waving as he ran off.

" One problem. He doesn't know where he's going does he?" Brock questioned

" Knowing Ash, the probability of that is 100%." Fumika sighed.

Just as they predicted, Ash got off the escalator and looked around lost." Uh oh now where are we?"

He walks forward around a Library." Wow there's a library two." Tory finished putting a book back and exited the Library.

Ash ran and caught up with him." Excuse me." Tori stopped and turned around.

" Pika!" Pikachu cried peaking out from Ash's shoulder.

Tori screamed and started running away." Hey, what are you running away for? Wait hold up!" Ash asked chasing after him into an elevator.

He runs in as the doors closed with Pikachu on his head." Hi, let me start that again. We're on our way to a battle but we don't know how to get there. So we're kinda lost." Ash explained.

  The elevator gates opened and Tory runs out of them and Ash goes after him." Wait we just wanna- Hi"

  " Are you ready for your battle?" The guy asked." Right this way." he pushes Ash and Tory in.

  " Uh.. You don't understand." Tory tried to explain but was cut off by the guy.

  " If you hurry up, you two just night make it." He stated.

  " But I haven't registered yet." Ash complained.

  " That will all happen automatically. Now good luck you two." He said as a red beam began scanning their passports.

  " Passports confirmed," a low robotic voice said. " Two youth level participants entered successfully." The screen flashed with the pictures of Tory and Ash.

  " Great and just in time." Ash exclaimed as the entry door closed on Rebecca and Ash's platform rises up.

  As the announcer announces the trainers the scientist professor noticed Tory immediately.

  " Hey Ash," Rafe yelled across the field, "You sure didn't waste any time."

  "Of course not!" Ash shouted back, "I couldn't wait to beat you."

  Fumika narrowed her eyes when she realized it was Tory on the field.

  Hey May!" Sid suddenly yelled, waving to her in the crowd, "Make sure you watch. I'm dedicating this battle to you." He winked as well.

  ' Okay those two are definitely planning something. What could they be up to this time?' Fumika thought.

  "Alright trainers! Bring out your Pokémon."

"Here goes," Sid and Rafe yelled at the same time, throwing our Pokéballs in the air. Out came my Blaziken and his Blastoise.

  Ash's Pikachu jumped from his shoulder, getting into battle stance. He turned to Tory.

  " Tory, what pokemon are you gonna use?" Ash questioned.

  " No Ash, I don't have any pokemon." Tory stated.

  " Pika?" Pikachu looks back confused "but-?"

  " See I was trying to tell ya. I'm not a trainer. I can't battle." Tory explained.

  " But this could be my only chance to battle Rafe. Hey I know what. I'll lend you one of my Pokemon. What do you say? That'll work" Ash asked handing Tory his Torkoal.

  " Will the Blue corner forfeit?"

  " Don't let me down, Tory." Ash encouraged.

  " Well if I have to." Tory said throwing the pokeball.

  " Let's do this. Blaziken, use blaze kick now!" I commanded once the announcer said 'go'.

  Blaziken jumped up and twisted around, preparing to carry out the move. Pikachu barely dodged it as he slammed into the ground.

" Go Blastoise, hydro pump," Sid said. Blastoise aimed and shot out a jet of water, knocking Pikachu back.

  Tory looked scared, holding his hands close to his chest.

" Blastoise bubble attack!" Sid yelled. Blastoise opened his mouth, shooting out bubbles. It hit Torkoal full on.

  " Tory your have to tell it to do something!" Ash yelled.

  " But I don't know what to tell it." Tory said

"Blastoise, rapid spin!" Sid said. Blastoise curled into his shell, spinning rapidly as he pushed himself forwards.

  Torkoal was knocked back. Blastoise started to slow down as he came closer to Tory.

  ' Idiot! Too close! What are you thinking, Sid! You know he fears Pokemon. Don't remind him of why!' Fumika face palmed.

  Tory's eyes widened and his skin noticeably paled. The memory of the Spheal's came back and he squeezed his eyes shut, looking away and clenching his teeth together. Blastoise stopped spinning just in time.

  " Pikachu use Thunder bolt! Cover Torkoal!" Ash commanded.

  Pikachu hit Blastoise and dodge just in time for the Flamethrower from Blaziken to miss.

  "Blastoise, skull bash!" Sid yelled. Pikachu was knocked back into Torkoal. Torkoal flipped over, landing on top of Pikachu. Tory looked very distressed.

  " Looks like three blue corner just can't get it together as a team."

  " Man, Ash's partner isn't doing anything to help him at all." Max stated.

  " Come on! Do something!" May yelled standing up frustrated.

  " Stop it, guys! Leave Tory alone. There's no way he can win this match!" Fumika scolded.

  " Tory don't worry, I'll do something about it. Flamethrower, Torkoal go!" Torkoal flipped over and fired accidentally burning Pikachu's tail

  " Oh a Flamethrower from Torkoal, but it hit Pikachu."

  Torkoal started crying and release smoke from its nostrils causing Ash to face palm.

  "How embarrassing," Rafe yelled at Ash." Rafe, wanna finish this one up?" Sid suggested.

  "Let's go. Blaziken, overheat." Both Pokémon were hit, and with a powerful blast, knocked out.

  " And that's it. Pikachu and Torkoal are out of the match. Rafe and Sid are the winners!"

  Ash's platform lowered and Tory looked upset as they born walked out of the elevator

  " Tory!" Professor Lund and Yuko ran up to them

  " hmm.. Daddy." Tory said.

  " We just watched your Pokemon battle. I'm incredibly proud." Professor Lund stated.

  " Don't be. It was all an accident. It never should have happened." Tory said running off.

  " Professor Lund, Yuko!" Fumika exclaimed running down the escalator to them.

  " Fumika? Is that you? Your back in town!" Yuko said.

  " You could say it's just a visit. I'm guessing Tory still hadn't got over that fear yet." Fumika concluded.

  Yuko nodded and Professor Lund sighed." I should have took better care of him. He was my responsibility."

  Fumika shakes her head." Don't blame yourself, Professor Lund. Accidents happen. This one was just more terrifying for Tory. I'm sure well be able to break it sooner or later."

The gang had moved outside during at a table with drinks.

" Yuko, meeting you here reminds me a time I used to work as a professors assistant. I'm sure Professor Ivy would be happy to bouche for my work." Brock flirted.

" And i'll be happy to bouche for his insanity." Max stated pulling Brock's ear.

" We apologize for the mix up in your battle. The truth is, Tory is completely afraid of Pokemon." Yuko informed.

" How could he be afraid of Pokemon?" Ash questioned.

" I think it's about time I asked two. He was so compassionate about them before, then all of a sudden, he won't even touch Eevee anymore." Fumika stated.

" I'm very sorry, Fumika. Well you see about 4 years, he had a traumatic experience. It left him terrified of them. Sadly he still hadn't gotten over those fears" Yuko explained.

At the same time, Tory was walking around the park of LaRousse City. He sighed and sat down on a stone rail.

He was still feeling a bit jittery from seeing Pikachu and Torkoal as well as feeling ashamed of being so scared of pokemon.

Just then a Plusle came up to Tory and pulled its shoulder causing Tory to jolt up.

" Ugh! Sho! Sho!"

" Plu Plu." Plusle cried almost wobbling off but managed and ran on the rail.

Plusle ran to an automatic rubbish bin where a Minun has its head stuck in. Plusle gestured to the Automatic rubbish bin in a panick.

Tory hesitated on whether or not to follow and help.

" Wow I shouldn't have pushed him so hard." Ash guiltily admitted.

  " No one ever told me what happened, but I figure something terrifying happened." Fumika mumbled.

  " I'm sure underneath that all, he loves Pokemon. He just needs to get to know them better." Yuko said.

  " I can agree to that. I almost got him to touch Eevee, but his fears kicked in at the end and he ran away." Fumika sighed.

  " Then I'll give him that chance." The gang looked at him shocked." All he needs is to become friends with me and Pikachu. Right pal?" Ash exclaimed determined.

  " Yeah! I wanna help two!" Max declared.

  " So do I!" May agreed.

  " Me two." Brock added.

  " Your awfully kind. Thank you, I think it's impossible." Yuko denied.

  " I think it's worth a try." Fumika stated catching Yuko's attention." Tory can actually stand in range of Eevee without freaking out completely. He just can't touch or pet her. I say it's worth a shot."

  " So what do you'll say we go find Tory?" Ash questioned

  " Yeah." We all agreed.

Plusle looked worried as Minun struggled and Tory tried to pry it open with a stick.

" Tory?" Tory managed to pry open the automatic rubbish bin just as Ash found him and ran down the stairs.

A dirty Minun was released from the bin along with an empty water bottle. They both cheered and connected their tails together.

Tory smiled and laughed until Plusle and Minun jumped onto the bin and Minun tries to tackles him but he moves away.

He hesitantly stepped back as Plusle jumped down, both confused." Later." He runs away.

Plusle and Minun were confused by Tory, but they went off to play somewhere else while Ash chased after Tory.

A Munchlax walked out from behind the bush and pulled the bin up and grabbing the empty water bottle.

He walked over onto the grass field. He threw the bottle up and kicked it. The Automatic bin sensed it and opened allowing the bottle to fall in.

Munchlax turns back around and walks away awkwardly with a bored smiling face.

Tory scanned his passport and entered the garden with Ash spotting him.

" Hey! Come on out! Where are you? I wanna tell you something important!" Tory shouted looking around.

A green wisp appeared in front of the waterfall and swished over to Tory. It circled Tory and the changed into an hourglass shape before changing back into the green wisp floating in between Tory's hands.

" You'll never guess what I just did. I helped out a Pokemon. Cause it had its head caught inside a garbage can so I help to get it out. Isn't that cool?" Tory told the green wisp.

The green wisp stretch sideways as if agreeing with him as Tory laughed.

Just at the outskirts of LaRousse City, a certain new Pokemon flew toward the town and landed at a high altitude place.

He release a glow from his purple jewel that turned into a purple aurora spreading out through LaRousse city catching everyone's attention.

" An aurora? But you can only see those in the north pole. Maybe it's just a coincidence." Fumika stated.

Back in the garden, Tory sat down next to the river with the green wisp still floating beside him.

" And I was even apart of a Pokemon battle! If course, I wasn't very good. So that part stunk." He continued.

" Hey. Who are you talking to?" Ash questioned from up on the rail.

" Pika?" Pikachu leaned forward curiously ears peaking up.

Tory turned around shocked hiding the green wisp as it disappeared behind his back.

From afar, the Pokemon still loomed over LaRousse from its spot as the aurora disappeared.

" Hey, it's gone. Did something happen?" Fumika stated." Oh right! Tory!" She continued running.

" Come on. Who was it?" Ash bugged following Tory out of the greenhouse.

" None of your business!" Tory replied walking out of the greenhouse.

" What? Would it hurt to tell me?" Ash pushed still following him.

" Stop! Leave me alone okay?!" Tory shouted to Ash running off.

" Wait a minute!" Ash shouted running after Tory.

" If this town is so high-tech, why don't they have moving sidewalks?" James complained.

" Or robots that serve hamburgers." Meowth added behind James.

" Yeah. Keep dreaming." Jessie proclaimed walking in front of the others.

They all groaned dragging themselves up until they stopped someone requesting a hamburger and scanning their passport.

" I'll take a hamburger, please!" The boy excitedly scanned his passport.

" Hamburger." The machine repeated opening up an eye like part and revealing a wrapped hamburger.

The boy happily took the burger as the robot closed itself and he unwrapped it, talking a bite and running off.

Team Rocket excitedly ran up to the robot and held out their hands expectantly." Hamburgers please!"

" Passport! Passport! Passport!" The robot repeated over and over.

" What's a passport?" Meowth asked.

" Well I have no idea what pass he's talking about, but Meowth please stop pulling me sport." James mumbled.

" You idiot! Hamburgers!" Jessie yelled jumping onto the robot.

" Hey that ain't right. Cheeseburgers!" Meowth said jumping onto the robots face.

" Alert! Alert! Alert!" The machine warned as two cube robot with a alert symbol floated over to them.

The one with a mad face hit them off the machine and stood in their path.

" That was rude!" Jessie stated.

" Maybe she takes our orders?" James suggested.

" Yeah? Well i'm pretty good at giving order." Jessie claimed rubbing her butt on the robot's face." So I'm gonna have, 5 hamburgers well done. And don't forget the French fries."

  The robot rearranged it's blocks." Well done indeed, it is." it said opening some of the boxes and shocking Jessie crispy.

  " Jessie got fried!" James said carrying Jessie's body side to side.

  " Without the burger." Meowth added holding Jessie's foot as they ran away.

" I think we should battle together again. Bet we'll get it right next time." Ash said still tailing him.

" Why do you keep following me?!" Tory angrily said.

  He accidentally stepped next to a Wingull causing a flock of them to flutter away. Tory jumped shocked and fell on his butt.

  " Are you okay?" Ash questioned rushing to help Tory while Pikachu jumped down from his shoulder.

  " Pikachu?" Tory opened his eyes and saw Pikachu immediately freaking out and got up accidentally pushing Ash back.

  " Gee thanks." Ash gritted pushing himself up and grabbing Tory's collar." Why'd you have to go and push me like that?!"

  " Ash stop!" Fumika shouted running up to them and pushing him back." Your suppose to be helping him. Not starting something!"

  " Sorry." Ash apologized.

  " Tory, are you okay? Did Ash hurt you?" Fumika asked crouching down to his level.

  " No I'm okay. Thanks, Fumika." Tory answered looking away guiltily.

  " Hey I know." Brock suddenly announced.
