Im gonna make this chapter dark for the first time. Don't read this if you don't feel comfortable with this.

Pikachu: *snores* more... ketchup...

Pikachu snores quietly. The door makes a creaking sound that was loud enough to wake up Pikachu. Pikachu yawns before getting off the bed. Pikachu was surprised to see that Ash nor Goh were in their beds.

Pikachu: Ash? Goh? Anyone?

Pikachu walked out the doors, it was too dark in the hallways for Pikachu to see. Pikachu tries to look around for a light source. Pikachu jumps onto a nightstand to look for a flashlight. He opens up the drawers and finds a flashlight.

Pikachu: a flashlight, maybe it could be useful.

He holds the flashlight with his tail and walked into the hallway. He walked deeper into the hallway, trying to find his way to the power source.

After a while, Pikachu halts himself as he noticed two glowing eyes in the darkness.

Pikachu: Is someone there?

???:...

Pikachu: ...

???: ...

Pikachu: ...

???: ...

???: I've been waiting for you Pikachu.

Pikachu: Alright nope not today!

Pikachu used thunderbolt on the shadow. It electrocuted the shadow.

???: OW! I was joking Pikachu! Its me Piplup! Geez...

Pikachu: You got want you deserved!

Piplup: I know.

Pikachu: anyways, what's going on here?

Piplup: No idea, Buneary and Grookey went to find the generator but they didnt return the past hour.

Pikachu: An hour!?

Piplup: And Dawn disappeared.

Pikachu grew even more worried.

Pikachu: Something isn't right here.

Piplup: That's what i thought too! We should go to the park to find the other pokemon.

Pikachu and Piplup dashed their way through the hallways to get to the door that leads to the park.

Pikachu: How do we open the door? The door handle is higher than us.

Piplup: what if we get on top of each other?

Pikachu: great idea! Stand on top of me.

Piplup climbs on Pikachu. He was able to reach the door handle and open it. They followed the stone path to the park where the Pokémon live in. As they walk through the entrance, Pikachu felt a presence.

Pikachu: Piplup, look behind you!

Piplup turns his head around.

a Shadow figure with red glowing eyes that looked like Marshadow stood 10 feet away from them.

Pikachu: Is... That you Marshadow?

Marshadow smiled.

Piplup: who are you?

Marshadow pulled out a knife and started walking closer to Pikachu and Piplup.

Piplup: UH OH, CLOSE THE DOOR CLOSE THE DOOR!!!

Piplup climbed on pikachu and locked the door.

Pikachu: Was that Marshadow!?

Piplup: I don't know, but we should go find the others quickly.

Pikachu and Piplup walked around to find the others. They couldn't find anyone in sight. They tried looking in Inteleon's cave, but he wasn't there.

Pikachu: If Inteleon is not here, we should look for another Pokémon if we can.

Piplup: Lets split up, it'll give us more ground to cover.

Piplup and Pikachu parted each other to find anyone.

On Pikachu's side, He walked to where Golurk sits. Again, there was no one there. Pikachu grew even more worried. He was shaking, fearing that the shadow must've kidnapped them.

Pikachu:  Anyone... please answer me...

Pikachu walks to the entrance. He glanced at the door, looking like he'd seen a ghost. The door was broken into pieces. Before Pikachu said anything, he needed to find Piplup quickly.

Pikachu: I clearly forgot that he can use pokemon moves. I need to hurry and find Piplup!

He ran to the pond where most of the water types live. Pikachu arrived to the pond to find Piplup lying down on the ground. Marshadow rises up from the ground near Piplup.

Pikachu: PIPLUP, WAKE UP!!! That POKEMON IS RIGHT THERE!

Piplup didn't respond. Marshadow grabbed Piplup and pulled out a knife. It slowly desended into the shadows with Piplup. Pikachu used quick attack to try and catch Piplup. Pikachu was too slow. He wasn't fast enough by a second. Piplup and Marshadow descended into the shadows completely.

Pikachu: NOOO! I WASNT FAST ENOUGH...

Pikachu let out tears, fearing that he's the only one left. He ran into hiding. He found a cave where he can hide. He grabbed some sticks and leaves and covered up the entrance. It wasn't good on defense but good with camoflauge.

Pikachu curled himself and tried to cry himself to sleep, but he was cornered by marshadow.

Pikachu: No...stay back!!! I'll use thunderbolt.

Pikachu used thunderbolt but marshadow absorbed it.

Pikachu: It didn't work!?

Marshadow pulled out the knife and walked closer to Pikachu. Pikachu moved back until hitting the wall.

Pikachu: HELP ME!!!!

Marshadow got close to pikachu and raised the knife.

Pikachu: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!

Marshadow: Ow my nonexistent ears!!!

Pikachu: wait... This was a nightmare all this time?

Marshadow: I was gonna wake you up but you screamed out of nowhere.

Pikachu: ...

Marshadow: I brought you some food to eat!

Marshadow placed the bowl of pokemon food on the floor. Pikachu sighed in relief as he woke up from a nightmare.

Pikachu: thank you...

Marshadow: Pikachu, is something troubling you?

Pikachu gets off the bed and approaches Marshadow. Marshadow felt uneasy.

Marshadow: uh...

Pikachu: ...

Marshadow: Pikachu?

Pikachu placed his hands on Marshadow.

Pikachu: This NEVER happened alright?

Marshadow nodded. Marshadow disappeared into the shadow and returned to the kitchen. Marshadow hid in Ash's shadow.

Goh: Hey ash i know where we should go for our next trip!

Ash: Huh?

Goh: We can go to the Unova Region! I hear that its the season where deerling appear!

Ash: Alright then lets go there then!

Cerise: Alright, have a good trip!

Goh: I'll be catching some Pokémon while I'm there.
