Sophocles: She is right. Those are security statues. If we ever get onto their line of sight no matter how far you are. You will be sent back to the beginning of each room the statues are.

They kept avoiding the statues and press each button to create an opening. They finally got to the final room guarded by two grunts

The martial arts pokemon ended up falling for the shell trap taking damage and fainting*
