After a three days of journey Clara finally made it back to pallet town

Clara thanked the bus driver and want out running towards the orphanage which was a bit far away

People recognize Clara and waved at her welcoming her back Clara also wave back

When Clara made it to the orphanage she saw the house was bigger than before and was being renovated she saw layla was holding some papers and talking to the construction workers

And Sophie was no where to be found

"Auntie layla I'm here!!" Said Clara running toward her when layla saw Clara she throwed the papers to the construction workers and ran toward Clara at a fast speed

"My baby Clara!! Welcome back!!" Said layla with big smileヾ(〃^∇^)ﾉ

Layla hugged Clara tight almost choking her "I missed you so much" said layla with tears running down her face (T^T)

"Layla I can't.. Breathe" said Clara

"Oh sorry Clara I got to excited to see you " said layla

"It's ok I also missed your hugs" said Clara Making layla want to hug her again when a hand grabbed her shoulder "trying to slack off again dear sister" said Sophie with a dark smile

Layla had sweat running down her face
((((;゜Д゜))) Sophie pushed Layla out of the way and give Clara a hug "welcome back kiddo, you have been missed by me and the children" said Sophie rubbing her head as Clara smiled

"Sis why did you push me?" Asked Layla getting up from the ground

When something dashed towards Clara sticking to her face "flareon~~~~" said flareon hugging Clara's face

"Hmhmhmhm (good to see you too flareon)" Clara was able to mumble through flareon thick fur

"Flareon get off her face she will suffocate" said Sophie grabbing flareon to pull her away from Clara face

When Clara was free, they want inside to talk, Clara first want to her room which was how she left it clean and organized she put the egg somewhere comfortable and want down to see both adults sitting on the table with snacks

Sophie and Layla made some snacks for her before hand ,

Clara took out her first three pokemon they already know jewel, Eva and smoke who jumped to them when they saw them

"Jewel it's so good to see you boy" said Layla who was patting his head

"Laaa~~~~"

"Smoke! you evolved, I can see you became stronger" said Sophie

"Gengar~~~~"

"Flareon~~~~"
"Espi espeon~~~~"

Clara smiled seeing this, "I would like for you to meet my other familie members" said Clara getting Layla and Sophie's attention

"Well bring them out, don't let them stay in the poke ball all day" said Layla

Clara nodded and took out her other pokemon's

"Growl~~~~~"
"Vulpix~~~"
"Squirtle, squirtle~~~~"
"Fearow~~~~"
"Haaa~~~~"
"Heee~~~"

"Sophie, Layla meet my friends this is buddy, sunny, spring, red, Cova, ember and her baby blaze, and guys meet my family in which your all a part of" said Clara

"Oh my you have a arcanine, vulpix, squirtle, shiny fearow, gyarados, shiny rapidash and her kid ponyta, and they seem pretty strong and well taken care of ,nice names by the way" said Sophie

"Thank you, and they worked hard to become strong" said Clara

Layla already want to them to introduce herself and she got along well them

"Layla always had a way with pokemon" said Sophie as she and Clara watched Layla

"Guys we have to make the pool bigger for cova,jewel and spring" said Layla as she was being hugged by all of Clara's pokemon

"Sigh alright I will talk with the construction workers, and I hope you remember we have kids coming in a few days" said Sophie

"I remember, I will also hire some help to take care of the kids too, so Clara you can help Sophie with the paper work" said Layla with thumps up (•◡•) 👍

Making Clara eyes twitch "don't worry Clara I will make sure she does her part of the paper work" said Sophie as Clara nodded

When some kids came back from playing they saw Clara "big sis Clara you're back" said Suzi running to hug Clara as the others kids eyes were shining looking at her pokemons

"Big sis are they you're pokemons?" Asked Luke

"Yes they're all my family and friends do you guys wanna meet them?" Asked Clara making all the kids excited

So all afternoon the kids played with the pokemon as ember had three kids on her back while she ran with blaze who had one kid on his back

Buddy also had kids on his back, cova was used as a slide which he didn't mind

Red was showing off his flying skills making the kids amazed, red was very proud of himself

While sunny hid behind Clara again she was overwhelmed by many people so Clara told the kids to be gentle with sunny

Spring was also showing off his cool side making the children happy

Jewel, Eva and smoke was already very popular and they grow up here so they know all the kids

The kids had a blast and Clara made food for everyone with Layla's help

They all missed Clara cooking, Suzi took some of her cookies and shared with sunny they got along well, Clara turned a blind eye to it with a smile

So in the two days she got back she helped with paper work , cooking and taking care of the kids, Sophie and Layla had their hands tied so with Clara help it became easier

Since Clara took over in taking care of the kids, Layla had time to look for help and look at the renovations, Sophie would always come by to help clara when she had time, eyesbags under Sophie and Layla eyes became less making Clara sigh in relief

Clara was able to help more thanks to her pokemons , they always helped her with the kids so she would reward them when they had a break with lots of snacks and pampering

Clara kept the kids busy by teaching them how to take care of the pokemons like how scrab jewel,cova's scales perfectly, brushing Sunny's, buddy, and Eva's fur , and teaching them how look after the pokemons

The kids were good students and listened seriously,

They were able finish everything before the kids arrived and boy were they exhausted

Layla was able to hire three people to help in the Nick of time

Soon the day arrived , everyone was ready to welcome the kids, Clara has been teaching the others kids to welcome the new kids kindly to make them feel at home

When the bus arrived everyone had a kind smile Layla want to talk with the driver and the assistant while Clara helped the kids who were nervous to come out of the bus

It took lot of comforting to get the kids out of the bus,

The everyone was kind to them so kids were able to relax and get along with the other kids who showed of Clara's pokemons making the new kids excited

Sophie first instructed the three new people to show the new kids their rooms

While Clara want to the kitchen in a hurry, she asked her pokemons to keep the kids busy until foods ready

Layla was looking at the kids files and Sophie looking at the room's to see if the kids were comfortable with other employees

Sunny pretty much hid in the kitchen with Suzi and Clara, she was overwhelmed again,

Suzi didn't come to hid but steal any food she could get her hands on, Clara knows this very well and didn't let her succeed

When the food was ready Clara was exhausted because making this much food isn't easy,

The new kids came to eat with the other kids

Seeing the kids eat with happiness it made her very happy and miss ash alot because he would eat anything she made with a bright smile

It took week for the kids to adjust to the new environment

After the kids adjusted they were finally able to breathe and relax

Especially Clara,  because in a few days she will be heading back out with ash again she had conversation with him not long ago and she missed a lot ash caught 20 tauros and a snorlax , they had a lot of adventures,

Pikachu was distress because his special snacks she made for him were eaten by snorlax

So Clara would make a bach of snacks before leaving,

While Clara was thinking about what to pack when Sophie came up to her "Clara"

Clara looked up at Sophie "I want to have a battle with you to see how strong you become" said Sophie making Clara shocked with Layla almost dropping a plate

"Huh???"

"We will battle with our first pokemon one on one" said Sophie

"But why all of a sudden? " asked Clara because she knows Sophie was strong trainer

"I want to see how far you come with your journey with ash, and I saw the trophy you got from flower town and the egg" said Sophie with a smile

Clara nodded she knew Sophie had her reasons for asking for a battle so she agreed

"Great we will battle in the morning make sure to be ready" said Sophie

Clara nodded Sophie would be a tough challenge seeing she was once a gym leader until she headed it over to one of her close friends to start a business to help Layla with the orphanage,
