He always thought Clara was very strong to lose a fight "don't look to surprised ash, it was big gyarados who attacked so of course, I would look beaten up" said Clara calmly

"I'm actually surprised your not freaking out over jewel and Eva evolution" said Clara smiling at him,

"Of course I'm surprised but it's more surprising that you fought a gyarados" said ash,

"I didn't stand a chance against it actually it was very big, it could have killed me but jewel and Eva saved me" said Clara

"Yes but i'm great your okay, I was freaking out then I heard you were in a coma" said ash and hugged her"please don't do it again "he added, Clara smiled at this and petted him on the back " I'll try, I didn't even want to fight it"said Clara

Layla was still emotional because of the shock she got few days ago, deila was relieved to see Clara ok and as calm as ever "Clara I made some of your favorite pudding"said deila, hearing pudding" Clara looked at her with bright eyes "pudding!!"

"Hahaha it looks like only your homemade pudding could make her lose her calm" said Layla,

As ash asked Clara "hey Clara I didn't know eevee could evolve into a.. "

"She a espeon, ash we learned about it from a johto book about Pokemon" said Clara

"Johto?" Asked ash

"Hmmm after many trainers finish battling in Kanto they travel to johto to get even stronger, there's many kinds of Pokemon there" said Clara

"So cool you sure do know alot" said ash smiling big as he petted espeon on the head,

"If you had read the books I sent you, you would have known" said Clara with amused smile, seeing ash trying to avoid eye contact

"Well your going with me on my journey so I don't have to learn" said ash trying to defend himself, as Clara just sighed,

They stayed for dinner as deila helped Layla make dinner for many kids, ash had fun playing with Eva and jewel as Clara wasn't allowed to get out of bed, ash didn't win against jewel once when playing board games, being influenced by Clara jewel is a master in playing, Eva isn't bad either, as Clara watched them play,

For few months until Clara didn't have pain moving this routine continued Clara was sorry to deila for coming over so much and even if she had busy schedule,but deila told her not worry she wanted to do it, and she knew Clara needed a friend in times like these, so they become her support, the kids also sometimes leave snacks in front of Claras door step, Clara was surprised seeing them trying to interact with her and she didn't reject them,

They bonded over these months Layla couldn't be happier, jewel and Eva were Clara's biggest supports, they were always with her, Clara felt bad that she couldn't spoil them, but they didn't mind at all they know Clara will spoil them again when she's better,

After she was better she actually did spoil them rotten again but Clara also started to train them again she will train with them because if she moves alot she can heal faster,

After sometimes Clara could do anything normally without problems, ash still liked to surprise her by showing up unannounced, and Clara liked those surprised,

But this time ash did come unannounced but he didn't surprised her like usually, he looked nervous,

Clara couldn't stand it anymore and asked "what's up your shaking to much this isn't like you"

"Haa you remember gary right?" Said ash

"oh the ginger head, yea what's up?" Asked Clara

"Well he told me about an abandoned house in the forest and told me if I was brave enough go on a journey to become a Pokemon master, that these house shouldn't scare me" said ash

"Hmm so he pretty much wanted you to go to the house to see you make a fool of yourself" said Clara getting to the point,

"Why that little!" Yelled ash in anger

"Ok lets go to the house, and see what's so special about it" said Clara shocking ash

As she called Eva, jewel who where laying to sun bathing "Eva, jewel we're going check out a abandoned house" said Clara as both got up and moved to Clara to get in the pokeball,

"Sorry you guys have to go in,I'll let you out once we get there" said Clara as she put Eva and jewel in their pokeball

"Let's go" said Clara to ash as they used their bicks to go to that forest, they made it to the forest, and looked around seeing a spooky house,

Clara walked in front as ash was behind her, she saw the door and knocked it at first "what are doing, it's an abandoned house " said ash shocked by her knock

"Well it's still polite to knock, it's a force of habit" said Clara as she turned the door handle seeing it open "huh,.... Normally it should be locked" said Clara
As she got in as ash followed, they saw many broken things, it was dark, Clara calmly walked around suddenly Eva came out of her pokeball "esp~~~?!" Said espeon looking around and jumped on Claras shoulder, "yes it's the house" said Clara

Clara felt they were being watched by something this was to familiar feeling when Eva stalked her and jewel ash didn't feel the eyes following, Clara didn't say anything about it not to let ash freak out,

They want to the bedroom and up stairs, ash heard a noise quickly hid behind Clara, he also saw the door closes by itself "Clara this place is probably haunted" said ash freaking out,

"Hmm how about you hold Eva for safety" said Clara putting Eva in Ash's arm's shocking them both as ash and Eva looked at each other and shrugged,

They explored the entire house before leaving, Clara placed a muffin on the table for who ever in staring at them and left

"There wasn't much there to begin with" said Clara walking back with ash holding their bikes and Eva returned to Clara's shoulder,

"You didn't hear the noise and see the doors" asked ash

"I did, but I also had a suspicion that it was a ghost Pokemon trying to scare you" said Clara

"You really think so"asked ash

" hmm"said Clara

"Say ash what would you like for your 10th birthday?" Asked Clara

"Why do you ask?" Said ash

"Because you're going to be a Pokemon trainer and you give me lots of gifts when I was healing, so I wanted to give you something you would like in your 10th birthday"said Clara

" hmmm how about you surprise me"said ash smiling

Clara was shocked by his answer but then smiled"ok I will"said Clara,

They want their separate ways the stalker was following them, after they want separate ways it's followed Clara because she left a delicious muffin

After she returned back she was greeted by Layla and two kids younger than her she smiled at them and let jewel out of his pokeball and want to the kitchen to cook as the younger kids played with Eva, jewel and flareon,

Layla followed Clara into the kitchen "so what did you do today with ash?" Asked Layla

"We want to spooky abandoned house" said Clara calmly, as she put tomato sauce on the curry

"Abandoned house? why would you go there"asked Layla in a fright

" why not, it wasn't that interesting as it sounds, and ash was almost fooled by the ginger head to go alone"said Clara,

"Ginger head?" Asked Layla

"Professor oaks grandson" said Clara

"Ohh he sure dose likes to mess with ash alot" said Layla

"More like provoking him" said Clara,

"He must have known ash couldn't do it that's why he told ash to go" said Clara "but knowing ash he would take the challenge but he was smart this time telling me about it first" she added

They talked some more and quickly finished making dinner and called everyone to came and eat, when everyone was going to sleep Eva and jewel brought their favorite books for bed time, so Clara could read it to them even if they know how to read they still like to hear it from Clara,

Clara first read jewel's book then Eva's while she was reading she felt eyes on her again she didn't want to go to the forest again "you can come out I know your here" hearing Claras words jewel and Eva also raised their heads to see their new stalker they also known about it

A dark and gas round Pokemon came out "gasss~~~!"the Pokemon

" yes I knew you were following, your a gastly, were you alone in that house, it must have been lonely"said Clara seeing it indeed was lonely,

Clara got an idea, "Eva, jewel let's make room on the bed for our little ghost friend" said Clara as Eva and jewel made room thank goodness she asked for a bigger bed,

The gastly was shocked almost everyone it met ran away after seeing him but this girl made room for it the gastly was unsure about what to do Clara saw it's confusion and got out from bed and gently held the gastly on her lap and lovingly strokes it, making it eyes moist,

"It's ok your not alone now,always remember it's ok if others don't accept you, because more people will come who will sooner or later" said Clara as she layed on the bed hugging gastly Eva sleeping on her pillow besides them, jewel rapped everyone in hug to sleep

After that day gastly would follow Clara as if he was her Pokemon, when ash came to hang out gastly introduced himself to him shocking ash from the sudden jump scare, after some time ash calmed down and learned that he was the one who scared him in the house, they had a laugh about it,

Gastly was also happy to have another friend, Clara asked if he like a name he agreed Clara named him smoke and he liked it Layla saw smoke following Clara like her other Pokemon and asked her if she wanted to catch it so Clara asked smoke and he agreed , Layla give Clara another pokeball catching smoke welcoming him to the family
After that everything want normally as always

Clara's 3 years later 

Clara was now ten years old ash is also ten years old their friendship was very strong, ash did develop feeling for her but he didn't say it, out of shyness, Clara wasn't dumb of course she knew but didn't say anything but liked to tease him whenever he gets too embarrassed,

Tomorrow ash will get his starter Pokemon and a pokedex, she'll see how it goes

Smoke
