After they left scissor street they were passing by a small town when they saw a fighting pokemon on the road

Clara had buddy out for a walk because he can't always stay in the poke ball
"Wow look it's a wild hitmonchan" said ash wanting to catch it

"So that's one of the fighting pokemon's I heard about" said misty

"That ones a real fighter" said brock

As ash took out his pokedex "hitmonchan a skilled fighting pokemon that packs a incredible strong punch"

"Alright let's capture it ready Pikachu?" Asked ash

"Pika chuu~~!!!" Yelled Uneasy Pikachu

"If you defeat hitmonchan you'll become the world champion" said ash

Pikachu hide behind Misty's leg as he imagines his defeat against hitmonchan

"You don't have to be afraid I'll teach you my secret punch and no one will be able to beat you" said ash

"Really ash why didn't you tell me about that secret punch we could have match with our fists" said Clara smiling showing her fist

Ash backed away from Clara"my punch isn't as good as your's and your punch could leave a mark in the tree with how much you train"said ash

Making Clara smile shaking her head as ash explained boxing to Pikachu

"When did ash know about boxing" asked Brock

"Beat's me"said misty

" he watched boxing match before in the tv"said Clara

"Ohhh" said both misty and brock
After ash explained everything to Pikachu they were ready to confront hitmonchan

"Ok hitmonchan ready for a match?" Asked ash

As hitmonchan didn't take Pikachu seriously

So the match begins with Pikachu trying all the moves ash showed him because Pikachu was small he was stopped by hitmonchan hand

"Make Pikachu stop ash this isn't even a fight" said misty as Clara was feeding buddy his snack's while they weren't paying attention something was watching them

"Pikachu give him that special punch I taught you " said ash as Pikachu had a red aura around him "give it the rocket punch" said ash

Pikachu boxing gloves launched with Pikachu and punched hitmonchan on the face

"We did it" said ash
"They did?" Said brock
"No way" said misty
"Well done" said Clara

Pikachu was standing victorious but hitmonchan was just hit on the face nothing major happened

"Pi~~?"

"Chaa~~~" said hitmonchan putting his hands on his hips

As Pikachu backed away with his ears down

"So much for the great rocket punch" said brock

"How many times do I have to tell you don't drop your guard keep your gloves up hitmonchan fight smart less fighting stupid" said hitmonchan owner

Hitmonchan nodded "now go knock that pipsqueak out"

As hitmonchan knocked Pikachu out with more punchs "ah Pikachu are you ok?" Asked ash picking up Pikachu

"I declares hitmonchan the winner congratulations one two three hooray" said the owner

"Who is that guy anyway?" Asked ash
"He's a pretty serious trainer" said misty
"I guess it wasn't wild" said brock

"Well duh" said Clara as she got up from feeding buddy

"Daddy! Daddy please come home" said a girl

"Rebecca?"

"Huh?"

"Daddy please quite pokemon training and come home with me" said Rebecca

"I won't come home until I became the champion"

"But daddy"

"I'll be in the gym taking on challenges that gym's that way I will be waiting for ya" said rebecca's dad walking away

"Oh well"

"Can I help you young lady" said brock

"I'm sorry my father bothered you" said Rebecca

"No problem"said brock

But before Rebecca could ask anything something flew down and took away the snacks from buddy's mouth, making buddy shocked and growl at it running after it

" ah buddy"said Clara seeing buddy running away she looked back at the other's

"You guys talk I will get buddy don't wait for me" said Clara running after buddy

"Clara wait!!!" Said ash
"And she's gone" said misty sighing

Buddy was running fast after that bird pokemon Clara wasn't able to see which bird pokemon it was

After running for a while Clara was able to catch up, saw buddy growling at the tree clawing at the tree to get up

"Buddy I caught up to you" said Clara sighing buddy turned around and whines to Clara pointing up at the tree

Clara looked up and saw who the thief was it was a spearow eating the treat Clara a specially made for buddy

"Ah hey you didn't have to steal you know" said Clara to spearow who stopped eating and looked at Clara

Clara noticed that this spearow was a different color from the other spearow she saw before it was completely red not like the other spearow it was a little skinny and has some wounds it was a bit dirty

"Where is your flock spearow?" Asked Clara

The spearow didn't answer and want back to eating making buddy furious he kept barking

"Buddy let it eat it I'll give you another one" said Clara taking out another treat making buddy stop barking and happily walked to her taking a the treat from her hand and started to eat

Clara sighed waiting for buddy to finish eating but she was also watching at the spearow who now finished eating and eyeing the treat in buddy's mouth

"You know you could just ask right?" Said Clara taking out different treat for spearow and throwing it toward it

The spearow caught the treat looking shocked that someone willingly give away food to it but it was happy nonetheless

Clara smiled and took out the new pokemon food she made and putting it down spearow saw it and got excited

Seeing that buddy finished eating she wanted to go back to the others

"Ok spearow we're leaving now take care" said Clara

The spearow watched them go unaware that glowing eyes were looking at the pokemon food

When Clara and buddy were walking away she had a gut feeling wanting to go back when buddy heard something

"Hm what's wrong boy?" Asked Clara as buddy turned around looking at the direction they came from

When they heard the scream of spearow Clara shocked quickly want back with buddy following behind

When they made it back they the spearow was being attacked by its own kind a flock of spearow were stealing little reds food

Clara couldn't stand for this and quickly took the spearow who was being ganged upon the other in her arms before the other spearow could do anything "buddy  fire spin" said Clara

Buddy launched out a flame tornado at the flock some of the spearow were knocked out while the others were a little burned Clara didn't want to start a forest fire so she took out spring "spring can you take out the fire in the trees" asked Clara

Spring of course nodded and used water gun to take out the fire "thank you my little hero" said Clara making spring make a gesture that said 'oh stop it you, your embarrassing me' with a blush

Clara smiled at spring's embarrassment and petted spring

Clara looked at the injured spearow in her arms with worry

Clara looked at both buddy and spring "we can't stay here, we gotta find a safe spot a treat little red" said Clara making both buddy and spring nod

They walked for a while and found a place Clara put down little red in a comfortable place and took out all the things she would need to treat it

Clara carefully examine spearow saw one of its wings were hurt he couldn't fly until it heal's first Clara sprayed spearow with healing spray and bandaged its wounds

Then she started to take out some herbs "spring a little water please"

Spring sprayed some water at the bowl as Clara smashed all the herbs together to make medicine

One it was done Clara took a spoon and started to feed little red little by little until it completely finished it it wasn't an easy process seeing the medicine was bitter

It's been four hours since she was gone she was worried about leaving ash for to long

Little red slowly opened its eyes making a little sound

Clara looked down hearing the sound seeing it awake "hello little red how are you feeling?" Asked Clara

Making little red realize he was in Clara's arms as she was fixing his feathers

Little red looked around and saw buddy and another pokemon playing tag

He tried get up but it felt pain all over he saw his wing was injured shocking it he couldn't survive in the wild now with out its wings

Feeling it frustration Clara petted it to comfort it "don't worry I plan to take care of you until you get better" said Clara making little red look up at her sincere smile

Little red buried his face in Clara's arms making her smile

She called buddy and spring to eat something making them stop playing and run over Clara took out there food for them to eat

Little red was also hungry so Clara carefully fad it making little red eat slowly seeing it had a hard time standing

Little red was thankful for the kindness he received from Clara seeing she was kind making him think following her isn't a bad idea

He never fitted in with the other spearow they rejected him before even giving him a chance

Finding someone kind to him he wanted to follow he looked at buddy who now finished eating "spearow ~~~"

Buddy looked up and barked back it want back and forth making Clara happy that they made up when buddy suddenly ran to her bag took out a pokeball

Buddy ran toward Clara putting the pokeball in her hands "why did you take out a pokeball?"

Her question was answered when buddy tip the button making the pokeball bigger pushing the pokeball to little red who tipped it with its good claw it was captured by the pokeball

Clara was shocked but understood that little red wanted to follow them since it willingly followed Clara didn't see anything wrong with it she will take good care of little red

Clara took out little red she doesn't want him to stay in the pokeball for to long with those injures

Little red was now a treasured member of their family he was received the best treatment from her like her other pokemon's

Clara walked out of the forest and want to the place they would meet the others

After some time Clara saw ash, brock and misty walking her way "Clara you're back!!" Said ask seeing Clara waiting for them

"Sorry I wasn't there with you guys but this little guy needed help" said Clara showing little red asleep in her arms shocking them

"This spearow is different colors from the rest its a shiny spearow" said brock

"Yeah that's why it was rejected by his flock" said Clara

"Oh this poor thing" said misty feeling sorry for it

"Anyway what happened after I was gone?" Asked Clara

As they told her all about how Rebecca asked them to defeat her father in the fighting pokemon only tournament, ash entered with primeape and brock with geodud

When it was primeape against team rocket primeape won

Ash give primeape away to Rebecca's dad so he could be stronger ash hugged Clara at that part

Clara hugged him back to comfort him knowing he needed it and so their journey continues
