They want to the battle area Clara, Brock,misty and staff members were sited to watch the battle

Clara was waving a small flag with a 'goo ash goo' written on it with one hand and on the another hand she was holding a drinking water glass because she ran around the town looking for ash Clara was thirsty

"It's my duty under the leagues rules we will each use three pokemon"said Erika

" right I'll use my own grass pokemon against your's bulbasaur I chose you"said ash launching his pokeball

"Bulbasaur~~~~" said bulbasaur after coming out of his pokeball

"This odd to be easy tangela I choose you" said Erika launching out her pokemon

"Huh what's that?" Asked ash taking out his pokedax

"Tangela a vine pokemon it's body is wrapped in vines the rest of it's form is hidden beneath theses vines"

"That doesn't tell me much" said ash

"Hmm tangela huh, it will be a bit difficult for ash if he doesn't play this smart" said Clara as misty and Brock nodded

"Alright we'll attack from a distance bulbasaur vine whip" said ash as two vines come's out of bulbasaur towards tangela

"Tangela constrict regist it before pulling away" said Erika as tangela grabbed the vines and was spinning around making bulbasaur come closer

"Tangela now's the time to hit it with your stun spur" said Erika as yellow bust  attacked bulbasaur stunning it

Ash had to return bulbasaur "return bulbasaur" said ash taking bulbasaur back inside his pokeball

"Poor bulbasaur later I'll give you some paralyzing heal to make your pokemon better" said Erika

"Thanks but no than-" ash interrupted himself feeling a chill he looked at Clara who was looking at him with angry smile that was saying 'your pokemon is more important than your ego better accept the healing'

"I mean thank you for your help it's much appreciated" said ash be coming very humble, shocking misty and Brock they looked at Clara and saw her smile became soft again

Clara looked at them "what?" Asked Clara titling her head

"Nothing "said both misty and Brock with a sweat drop

" now I choose Primeape "but ash stopped himself remembering what happened earlier and changed his mind

" never mind"said ash putting the pokeball back

"Charmander goo" said ash launching out his pokeball taking out charmander

"This should be easy weepinbell goo" said Erika

"Weepinbell Razer leaf now" said Erika

As weepinbell spinner and lots of sharp leaf came out and want towards charmander

"Charmander flamethrower full blast now" said ash as charmander opened his mouth and launched a powerful flamethrower at the leaf burning it all as weepinbell was panicking

"Yes way to go now let's finish it up skull bash" said ash as charmander ran at full speed and headbutted weepinbell in the stomach sending weepinbell flying

"Ah weepinbell return now" said Erika as she returned weepinbell to it pokeball

"Well all ash has to do is defeat the final pokemon and he is the Victor" said Clara thinking what grass pokemon will Erika take out

"Ash is doing well" said Brock

"He might actually win" said one of the staff

"Yeah he's a lot more impressive than he looks" said another staff making Clara smile

"Your battle skills are impressive ash but there is one thing you don't have empathy with your pokemon without it you will never become a great pokemon trainer like me now I'm going give you a lesson about empathy gloom goo" said Erika launching out her pokeball taking out gloom

Gloom used a stinky smell making charmander disgusted holding his nose
Making him faint"charmander return "said ash taking charmander back

Clara was also holding her nose yes she does make disgusted smells to use as a way to escape wild and dangerous pokemon but it doesn't mean she likes the smell with her sensitive nose,

"Hahaha poor ash it looks like you're pokemon needs more training" said Erika laughing

Ash didn't know which pokemon to use against gloom when Pikachu stepped up "pika~~~"

"Huh Pikachu you mean you wanna battle?" Asked ash looking at Pikachu

"Chuu~~"

"You know your going to lose but your still willing to battle gloom to help me out" asked ash

As Pikachu gentle slapped his face "pika pika~~~"

"What? you mean your sure you'll win" asked ash as Pikachu confidently nodded "pika pika~~~"

"Oh Pikachu" said ash hugging Pikachu as Pikachu hugged him back

"Heartwarming but what that smell"said a voice that was very familiar to Clara she stood up

" your pokemon skills are stinking up this gym even worse than gloom "said Jessy

" it's team rocket "said misty

" tsk like your any better losing to us all the time "said Clara looking at Jessy

" what did you say you little girl!"said Jessy

Clara lifted her hand up and crashed the water glass in her hand shocking and scaring everyone "I said you guys are losers"

James backed away remembering the punch he got from her "why are you backing up " asked Jessy

"You don't know how strong her hits can be it's better to be safe than sorry" said James

"Well whatever to protect the world from devastation" said Jessy jumping down

"To protect our people within our nation" said James following after Jessy

"And last but not least to blast this dump sky high" said meowth landing on James and Jessy arms with a button in hand and pressing it

"Jessy" James"but were interrupted by a blast happening sending them flying

"Where did you put that boom?" Asked James choking meowth

"Near the gym" said meowth with difficulty

"Well at least we got this parting gift the secret perfume formula" said Jessy

"Team rocket blasting of again"

The gym was on fire "quick girls we got to rescue all the pokemon" said a staff member

All the girls ran inside to get the pokemons out

Clara quickly pulled misty, Brock and ash out and launched out cova , jewel and spring

"Cova, jewel, spring use water gun to slow down the fire" said Clara

They listened to what Clara said and used water gun at the gym to take out the fire

"Ash, misty call out your pokemons" said Clara getting ashes attention and he nodded taking out squirtle "squirtle use water gun"

Misty nodded "starmie, staryu, help us out now"

They use water gun at the fire

"Geodude throw as much dirt as you can at the flames" said Brock as geodude took a lot of mud and throws it at the fire

"Keep on spraying" said misty
"We almost got it" said ash
"Hang in there" said Clara to her pokemons

Erika ran looking around "Erika what's the matter?" Asked misty

"I looked for bloom but couldn't find him anywhere"said Erika

" did gloom get out"asked ash

"What if gloom! Ha" Erika looked at the gym with shock "what if glooms still inside" Erika wanted to run Inside

"You can't go in there Erika" said misty stopping her

"But bloom maybe inside" said Erika

"I'll go and find him" said ash running Inside

"Ash wait" said Clara running after him

"Ash, Clara come back" said misty

Ash and Clara want inside the gym battle area "gloom!?" Yelled ash

"Gloom" Clara also yelled

"Gloomm~~~" gloom responded to their calls it was hiding in the grass

"Don't worry gloom I'll get you out of here" said ash he was about go in but gloom launched stinky smell making ash back up

"I can't get through the stinky smell"said ash but he felt something being placed on his face it was gas mask

" huh? Clara when did you get these?"asked ash

"I bought this before coming to the gym, I thought it would be useful and thank goodness I bought it" said Clara

Ash saw some the roof fall down front of gloom

He quickly ran in as he got closer to gloom the mask helped but not much he could still smell the stink

Ash almost couldn't take it but than he felt no smell "huh? It doesn't stink anymore" ash than remembered what Erika said when gloom feels safe it doesn't stink anymore so they could be friends ash smiled "come on Let's go gloom" said ash

"Gloom gloom~~~"

Clara saw ash carrying gloom she smiled  "Clara Let's go"

"Right behind you ash" said Clara running after him

They found the exit and want out Erika misty and Brock were worried but seeing ash and Clara bringing back gloom from the gym safe and sound

"Hey ash,Clara!"
"Ash, Clara that was amazing"

"I didn't do much it was all ash" said Clara

"Yeah but who keeped an eye out for any surprise and give me the mask" said ash

"It's wasn't much though I just keeped an eye out" said Clara

"Thank you both" said Erika

After the sun started to raise the fire was completely put out and Erika was greatful

"With deep gratitude I present you with the rainbow badge" said Erika

Ash looked stunned and looked at Erika "what's that for?" Asked ash

"I think you earned it don't you gloom" said Erika as gloom nodded

"Thanks a lot" said ash taking the badge

"Take a look Pikachu a rainbow badge" said ash as Pikachu and gloom cheered for ash

"Congratulations ash" said Brock
"Thanks" said ash

"You did well ash" said Clara

Ash then remembered "what about team rocket they got away with you secret perfume formula" said ash

"Haha no they didn't the bottle they stole has only one of our perfume secret ingredient essence of gloom

Clara could already imagine what happened to them and smirked

They said their goodbyes and continue on their journey
