After leaving saffron city and headed for celadon city they decided to take break on the road

Ash was calling professor oak to show him his badges while Clara making lunch

Misty and Pikachu were eating jelly filled rice ball that brock made for the road waiting for Clara to finish making lunch,

Smoke was floating around Clara helping with anything he could,

Smoke was given two days worth of money by ash and smoke headed the money to Clara for safe keeping doubling his allowance,

Yes each of Clara's pokemon has allowance for themselves Clara told them about the value of money so they can buy whatever they want when she became busy with stuff and can't  Acompany them with shopping

Ash came back very gloomy "ash you look upset Have a rice ball it always cheers me up" said misty

" these rice balls are great jelly filled one's are my favorite nothing beats jelly filled rice ball Have some while we wait for Clara to finish cooking " said brock handing a rice ball to ash

"I just found out gary has five badge" said ash upset

"Ah I get it he's upset because he's falling behind" said misty

"The next town we're going to is celadon city isn't there supposed to be a gym there?" Asked ash

"There sure is all we have to do is follow this road celadon city is only a day walk from here even less if we keep up a fast pace" said brock pointing at the road

"There is no way I'll loss" said ash

"Just remember ash there's a lot of wannabe trainers out there but you have to get to the pokemon league your own way" said misty

"That's right"said brock

" alright I'll catch all different pokemon's"said ash determined

Ash looked around and spotted Clara not far making his favorite sandwichs and ran to her to act like a baby "Clara gary has five badges" said ash as he hugged her from the side

Clara wasn't looking up from what she was doing but comforted him by petting his head"there, there ash, don't compare yourself to gary, you will do well in your own pace, no rush"

"I knew you would understand me" said ash

As brock and misty had sweat drop just looking at ash acting like little kid with Clara "Clara sure pampers him a lot seeing she isn't bothered by ash at all" said misty as brock nodded

Ash saw something moving in the bushes he saw white monkey like pokemon "ah it's a pokemon!" Said ash taking out his Pokedex

"Mankey a pig monkey looking pokemon after the fighting type no footage superior footwork it pecks a powerful punch"

The mankey came out for the bushes and stood in front of them Clara didn't care and want back to work knowing smoke was nearby if she called

The mankey want to brock wanting a rice ball

"Maybe he wants a rice ball" said brock handing the mankey a rice ball it sniffed for second and took it

The mankey want sit in rock to eat "I think it like it" said ash

"That rice ball is my own spacial recipe" said brock

"A fighting pokemon that will really help me in battle" said ash taking out his pokeball

"Hold on your not going start by throwing a poke ball at it" said misty

"There is no way I'm going to miss this chance mankey your mine now" said ash throwing the poke ball at it the mankey noticed and throws the rice ball at the pokeball

The poke ball captured the rice ball and returned to ash opening and showing as the rice ball

"It's a rice ball!" Said ash

"A rice ball pokemon" said misty not impressed

The mankey got pissed it's eyes were open and in a fighting stance

"Now what are we going to do" said ash

"It looks like you got it angry " said misty

Ash took out his Pokedex "although mankey might be calm but it does have a bad temper once mankey begin's to tresh stopping it is impossible"

"What does it mean by tresh?" Asked ash they saw mankey running there way they were about to run but Clara was finished making sandwiches and was standing behind mankey

Mankey felt a chill it looked behind to see Clara wasn't looking impressed smoke was grining at mankey behind clara

The mankey backed away but Clara want towards it and want to his level the mankey through she was going to fight him but Clara handed him a sandwich "sorry for my friend please accept this as an apology" said Clara handing the sandwich to the mankey

The mankey took it and watched as Clara want to her friends "ash you know it's not polite disturbing others while eating" said Clara in a scolding tone

Ash nodded and apologized "sorry I shouldn't have disturbed you" said ash

The mankey looked at the sandwich and want to the rock again the others sighed in relief

"Lunch is ready I made all your favorite sandwiches " said Clara

They all were excited for Clara sandwiches knowing it was her specialty "your sandwiches are the best" said misty taking her sandwiches and digging right in

Brock took a bit and felt the taste was different this time "did you do something different with the sandwiches?" Asked brock

"As expected I knew you would know the difference yes I used the new spice I get from saffron city in the meat is it good?" Asked Clara

"It's great!" Said ash

"Yeah it has sour and sweet taste to it" said brock

While they were talking and eating mankey was finished eating his own sandwiches wanting more he eyed ash sandwiche

When ash wasn't looking mankey came out of nowhere and took his sandwiche ash was shocked "hey that's mine!" Said ash

"It's ok ash there's more" said Clara

"But didn't you say you wanted to keep some for the road" asked misty

"Yes but if you guys want to eat some more I didn't mind" said Clara handing ash another sandwiche

Pikachu was enjoying his sandwiche, ash was about to take a bit when his sandwiche was gone again it the mankey now ash was mad "he took my sandwiche again"

"Not just your sandwiche ash look up your hat is gone too" said Clara

Ash saw the mankey wearing his hat he got up and want to it"you little thief give me back my hat"yelled ash the mankey laughed at him and was making fun of him

"You can get another hat ash" said misty

"It's not the hat it's the principal" said ash walking towards the tree the mankey was at

"Hold it your just going get beat up" said misty

"It's mine" said ash trying to hit up the tree

"What's so great about that hat" asked misty

"I can't replace that hat I won it the official pokemon league expo don't you know how tough it is to get one of those hat" said ash

"An official expo hat?" Said brock

They then remembered "ahh"

"It's official" said brock

"I didn't know it was the official pokemon league hat I remember I entered the same contest too" said misty

"I had to send about a million post cards to win that hat Clara helped me write those post cards"yelled ash

Misty turned around and smiled with a swear drop" no wonder I didn't win I only sent one"

"I wasn't interested in the hat but ash was so I helped him" said Clara

"Poor ash losing an official hat is like losing a best friend"said brock

Ash climbed up the tree he was almost there when mankey beat down the tree Clara ran to him and helped him up

When team rocket showed up " well hello there shumps"said jessy

"Aren't you happy to see us" said meowths

"No not really" said Clara not impressed by them

Mankey came to team rocket and was all over them when James kicked mankey

"Ahhh I wish he hasn't done that" said brock

"Still trying to capture Pikachu" said misty

"We just want to borrow it permanently" said jessy

"Your situation is hopeless hand Pikachu or else" said James

"Or else what?" Yelled misty

"Prepare for trouble"

"Aren't you guys tried saying that everytime, it's getting boring" said Clara as she stopped shaking ash when he woke up

"Can't you guys try to capture Pikachu some another time I'm having a mid life crisis right now" said ash getting up

"No now's the perfect time you're obviously too pooped to protect Pikachu" said Jessy

"Listen you better get out of here fast or you're going to be wiped as ash did" said brock

" what's a mankey?"asked Jessy

"It must been the thing that I kicked" said James

They all looked at direction mankey was kicked and a saw a furious mankey who glowed white which means it was evolving

"Uh oh" said Clara

"Huge uh oh" said misty

"That a mankey evolved into primeape" said Clara

Ash took out his pokedex"primeape if you make eye contact with this evolved form of mankey it will chase you for ever"

"Not very helpful" said Clara

"Heh this fur ball that's ridiculous, now let's capture Pikachu Ekron gooo" said Jessy

"And good koffin"said James

"Come on" before any battle could begin primeape came up behind team rocket sent Jessy flying towards a rock where she face planted

"Ohhh that's gotta hurt" said Clara

James and meowth freaked out Jessy got up having bruise on her face

"How dare you ruin my beautiful face Ekron and koffin forget about Pikachu get that primeape" said Jessy

"But we came for Pikachu" said meowth

"Team rocket always put's beauty before dutie come on" said James taking meowth with him they all aimed at primeape

"Now's our chance "said misty as she and brock took ash by both arms and made a run for it Clara closely following behind

Ash noticed his hat " my hat!"

Pikachu want to get it but primeape was done beating up team rocket and was standing between Pikachu and the hat

"Pikachu don't look at it in the eyes" said misty

Pikachu tried to keep his eyes closed but he couldn't and had to back away as the primeape laughed wearing the hat again

"It's got my hat" yelled ash

"And it never sent a one plus card" said misty

"As if he would ever know what that is" said Clara looking for smoke who was probably just watching the show and eating his sandwiche

"Pikachu thunder shock" said ash as Pikachu shocked primeape but it only made it angrier

"Now what are we going to do" asked misty

"That attack made it even madder" said ash

"Well running is always an option" said Clara

"Wait a minute I have a theory primeape isn't trying to steal your hat "said brock

Clara raised an eyebrow looking at brock with a are you serious look

" huh"both misty and ash said at the same time

"It's scared of us ash tried to capture it when it was a mankey , then James kicked it I think it took your hat because it wants attention because its lonely all by itself" said brock walking towards Primeape

"Be careful" said misty

"You will be remembered brock " said Clara wiping away a fake tear

Brock want to the temper tantrum Primeape "now every thing will be fine give me a smile buddy" said brock taking Primeape's hand and putting it over his shoulder only to be beaten up
Brock was sent flying by Primeape

"I think Brock needs a new theory" said misty

"Forget about new theory Brock now needs help right now" said Clara running after him

She found Brock face planted on some rocks "yoo Brock you good?" Asked Clara grabbing Brock by the leg and pulling him out

"Does it look like I'm good" said Brock shaken up

"No you don't actually" said Clara taking out her medicine bag and taking out some healing spray and bandages

After sometime Brock was good to go"you go after ash and misty while I get my stuff I forgot about them with all this mess"said Clara sighing Brock nodded and want after the others

Clara want Back to the to their resting place she packed everything up and found smoke pranking some wild pokemon not far away

"Smoke time to goo"said Clara as smoke floated to her side and hugged her by the shoulder " gengar~~~~"

"We have find the others hopefully they're in one piece" said Clara as smoke snickers with laughter

After some time Clara was able to find them up the rock hills "guys are you ok" asked Clara

"Clara I caught Primeape" said ash excited

"I knew you could do it and you got you hat back good for you" said Clara

Clara looked at ash closely and saw a black eye Clara panicked "ash how did get that black eyes" said Clara holding both ashes cheeks

"Primeape punched me" said ash he wasn't embarrassed at all he was used to Clara care

"Poor baby let's get that fixed up" said Clara as smoke showed himself on Clara's shoulder

"Hey now that I think about it with smoke help I would have gotten my hat back sooner" said ash

"Well yes but after eating his sandwiche he want to prank some wild pokemon so he wasn't there to help" explained Clara

Smoke only petted ash on the head as an apology

When Pikachu called for them to look at something "what is it?" Asked ash

They saw a city "there's celadon city"said Brock

" you know if Primeape hasn't chased us we wouldn't have got here as fast as we did right Brock "said misty

" yeah I guess it was lucky after all"said Brock

"Way to go Primeape now that I got a new pokemon now it's time to earn another badge" said ash

"Well than we better get going" said Clara

"Yeah" said ash as they want on the road to celadon city
