Pokemon- IPB: The Search of Lost Riolu 2

"Come on, wake up, we need to go somewhere."

"Huh? Oh... morning Julia. Where do we have to go?" Martin yawns.

"To one of the big cities that Alicia wants to go to. After that, we go to where Jacob wants to go and start his own adventure."

"So you, Allison, and me are going with Jacob, right? Then how does that help with finding my sister?"

"Martin, don't worry, many humans and Pokemon are looking for the people that kidnapped your sister. Especially since the humans are bad people."

"O-okay, I'll trust you, but do you know where we are going with Jacob?"

"Not exactly, Alicia doesn't want him to go to Kalos, if you know where that is. Due to past events that happened with her. Then there is Unova where he said he'd like to go since Kalos is off limits to him right now. Or we can start here in Sinnoh."

"Ah, morning you two, sleep well?"

"Yeah, and mind if I have some breakfast? "

"Sure thing," Alicia smiles, and gives a small laugh before heading into the kitchen.

"What is she laughing about?"

"Well a thing that humans call manners, pretty much asking nicely. Most wild Pokemon don't know about it until a while."

"Oh, well elders back home said that it is a kind thing to do to ask anyone like that."

"Even though they may be wild, seems like one of them used to be captured by a trainer. And are you not feeling homesick or anything?"

"No, all I want to do is find my sister, and I kind of like living with these humans."

"Hey, don't worry, we'll find her."

"Alright you guys, we have to rush this, we have half an hour left!" Alicia calls out.

"Alright mom! Let me check really quick on my stuff!" Jacob calls from upstairs.

Going into the kitchen and sitting down, Julia, Alicia, and Martin start to eat. Moments later, Jacob comes down, and start to eat, but anxiously looking from where he came.

"Allison, come down and eat! You won't have anything until you reach wherever Jacob wants to go if it isn't here!"

Hearing the sounds footsteps from the stairs, Allison comes into view, and climbs onto one of the chairs, to sit on.

"Good to see that you're awake, happy birthday, Allison," Alicia congratulates, getting up and petting her head, and heads off somewhere.

Coming back, she brings a small pink bow, and puts it next to Allison's streak of fur that covers a side of her face, pets her again, then sits back down. Silently, Allison eats her breakfast, and when she finishes, they start to head to the garage.

"Jacob, go grab your stuff, Julia, go help."

With them gone, Alicia kneels down, and looks to Allison, who looks away from her.

"Hey, I know that you were one of his first, but I miss him too. Allison, at least be happy on this adventure. Who knows, you may find his sister, or probably that male you like... just be safe and protect Jacob if you can," Alicia sighs, seeing that Allison still looks down, "Personally I have no clue why he would put that bow on you, you look a bit ridiculous if you ask me."

When she said ridiculous, Allison gives a small smile and nuzzles Alicia's face.

"That's what I like to see, have fun."

"Okay, mom, we have everything."

"Alright, we're a little late, but I'm sure Joe wouldn't mind too much. Martin, you'll have to be in the back with Julia and Allison."

"Okay."

Hopping into the back, Julia offers Martin that he could sit on her laps, since Allison took up the rest of the back.

Driving down to the city where Alicia says is called Jubilife City, Jacob talks about the different regions he would like to go, saying the pros and cons of the places. All of which Martin doesn't fully understand. By the time they reach the bustling city of Jubilife, Alicia drives into the underground garage of a building with three simple letters that Martin sees: IPB.

Parking the car, Alicia leads everyone through the many corridors before reaching a specific door, whereas she inputted a password into a keypad, and looks into something that Martin finds a little curious on what she does. With a soft buzz, she opens the door, and shows a flight of stairs going down. When reaching the base of the stairs, it's as if a different place.

Multiple screens covering one wall, humans walking, running around, or sitting down, looking at the screens. As Alicia walks through the center, the others follow her to the door with a sign on the side reading; Mark Darison -aka Joe.

Entering the room, a man with a black fedora, and simple clothing sits, looking down, writing down on papers.

"Nice to see you two are here, you too Julia, and happy birthday, Allison," the man looks up, and faces to Martin, "And you must be Martin, right? My name is Joe."

"H-hi, sir."

"Well aren't you well mannered, anyways. So Jacob, know where to go to?'

"Well I did want to go to Kalos, but mom says no, so I've decided on Unova."

"Alright, Unova it is," Joe looks down, and writes in another paper then giving it to Jacob, "Give it to the professor in Unova, and you'll be set. Though no starters for you since you have these three here. And have fun, son."

"Sure thing."

"Anyways, as for you Alicia, here you go," Joe says, opening a drawer, and handing Alicia a Pokeball.

Taking the ball, she clicks the button, and what comes out is a Shinx, wagging it's tail excitedly.

"At first I thought of getting you a fully trained Luxray, but I knew you would prefer a Pokemon when they are young. Meaning that as the Pokemon grows up, they'll be used to you.

"Thanks Joe, what's his name?"

"His name is Rai"

"Rai? Well, that's a nice name," she kneels down, and pets him.

"Yay! It's a fun human!" Rai yells out.

"He was one of the few to pass the harder training, but he always seem to like to have fun when he can," Joe clarifies, "On the other hand, Jacob, your ride leaves around an hour from now. And the ID you possess will work in any region, don't lose it, it's a personal gift from me to you. Understand?"

"Yes sir! So are you taking me to the airport, mom, or is someone else taking me?"

"I have some time, right Joe?"

"Yeah, you'll have enough time. I'll send a file to you while you are dropping him off."

"Okay then, back to the car guys."

Heading back to the car, and to the airport, with no stop on the way. Getting out of the car once more, Julia helps out with Jacob and the three bags he brought with him.

Going through the airport security, everyone else was to be returned to their Pokeball. Everyone but Martin, due to him being trained and small enough to sit with Jacob.

Nearing the entrance of the plane, Alicia gives her goodbyes and a hug before Martin and Jacob board the plane. Martin carrying the lightest bag, which is a little too big, but still managing to carry it, and Jacob waving back at his mom.

The flight to Unova takes four hours, and then taking another flight which takes another hour to the town where the professor's laboratory lies.

"Ah, you must be Jacob, correct?"a woman with a white coat, standing next to a car asks.

"Yeah, and you must be Professor Juniper, right?"

"Yup, hop in I'll take you to my work place."

A short ride to the Professor's laboratory, and picking up of the Pokedex, Jacob releases all the others out, and start to head to Route 1.

"Umm excuse me? You are a trainer, right?"

"Huh, oh, yes I am, ma'am," Jacob turns to the lady.

"Well I must ask you something... you mind giving this to my daughter if you could find her?"

"Uh, sure what's her name?"

"Here's a picture, and her name is Caitlyn," she hands a wrapped box and a picture of a girl a little older than Jacob sitting next to an Arcanine.

"Can't you contact her? I'll do it, just curious though."

"Well she can be very forgetful to call home, so communication is a little problem."

"I understand, I'll give this to her," Jacob replies, packing the box and picture into one of the bags."

"Thank you so much. Sorry that I can't give anything right now," she shakes his hand, and heads into a nearby houses.

"Huh, wonder what it is. Oh well, let's go guys. Mom is right, you do look a little weird with that bow like that. But it's what you like, so I won't bother. Though we should be able to reach the next town before dusk. If we don't we'll be camping outside for our first night here. Oh, before I forget, here's this, Allison."

Rummaging through the bag that Julia holds around her, Jacob brings out two bracelets. Opening one of them and attaching it to Allison's left leg, and then strapping on the other one on his own arm, with a small gem on each one.

"Well at least it'll be like old times, right Allison?"

"Yeah..." she softly sighs.

"Come on Ally, we could go and find your boyfriend while we are here."

"Hey," Allison softly whines, and nudges into Jacob's legs.

"Alright, let's start going guys."

Traveling through Route 1 with no problems or encounters, they finally reach Accumula Town, as soon as the sun starts to set.

"At least we won't have to sleep outside for today," Jacob thanks to no one in particular, while opening to their room after a nice dinner.

"Well there is a storm coming in a few days," Allison looks to Martin, as if to tell him.

"Uhh Jacob, Allison says that there will be a storm coming in a few days."

"A few days? Hmm if it's a few days, we might be able to reach Castelia, if not, most definitely Nacrene."

"You better be right Jacob, I hate having my fur wet," Julia mutters.

"Anyways, you guys can go ahead and sleep in here, I'm going to make a call."

"You guys go ahead, I'll go with him," Julia offers.

"Sure..." Allison yawns, hopping onto one of the two beds.

"I'll just stay with her."

"Okay, Jacob might be out there for a little, so good night, you two."

Joining with Allison on the bed Martin starts to sleep next to her, but one thing on his mind.

"Umm... Allison? How was your former trainer? Was he that nice or great of a trainer?"

All he receives is Allison turning around, her back facing him.

"Don't bother, it's not what you felt before."

"But I lost my sister, it's a relevant question."

With a rough sigh, "Fine, he was the kind of trainer that he made anyone he captured feel like family. He had a way to take in the ones that usually had a bad past. Neither one of us feeling lonely with him. That was the trainer he was. And that is what all you need to know."

"Sorry..."

Martin then hears a low sniffle, and decides to go to sleep himself.

Morning comes around, the Pidove cooing eight outside the window wakes Martin, and Jacob. Allison still sleeping and Julia already up, and doing her best to pack the bags.

"Here, Julia... I'll get it,"Jacob yawns, rubbing his eyes.

After packing the bags, Jacob decides going into the cafeteria for breakfast. But to let Allison to get her sleep. After breakfast, Jacob brings a bowl of Pokefood and some berries for Allison, who woke up recently and quietly lies on the bed.

"Okay, seeing that no clouds are around, we should be able to reach Striaton City by dusk, maybe earlier if we happen to find some shortcut."

"We better hurry, I can feel the storm is coming around that time..."

"She says that the storm is coming around that time."

"Dusk? Well I guess we ought to make it there then."

Finished with her breakfast, they head on out, checking out of the room they stayed in, and grabbing a few supplies. Then heading out to Route 2, nearly nothing but tall pine trees along the way.

"Huh, thought there would be more Pokemon out here, or is it because of the storm coming? Then again, this is a path where humans travel through."

"I'm sure it's the part where humans travel through here."

"Yeah, as much as I would like to spend a day or two out here, I'd rather get to Nacrene before the storm."

With nothing but taking short stops, and a lunch break, the group makes it to Nacrene by dusk, with dark clouds starting to loom off in the distance. Checking in for a room, they settle in as soon as a distance, but still audible thunderclap is heard.

"Well good thing we made it to Nacrene, come on guys, let's get some dinner, right after I make a quick call."

"Can I come to? I want to know if they found my sister yet."

"Sure, come on, Julia, Allison go find somewhere to sit."

Following Jacob, they stop at an unusual machine to Martin. After pressing some of the buttons on the machine, Jacob picks up Martin into his arms. With a moment or two, the screen flickers, and Alicia's face appears.

"Hey, I'm guessing you made it to Nacrene?"

"Yeah, good thing to a storm is coming too."

"Well good to see you made it in time. Though Nacrene does have some places where you can go to if you don't plan to head to Castelia tomorrow."

"Yeah I know, mom. Also Martin is curious about any news on his sister."

"Sorry to say, but nothing is coming up. Though we know that they couldn't have left the Sinnoh region."

"Well good luck then, mom. I better go and check if Allison and Julia found a spot for us yet."

"You too sweetie, bye."

"Bye," Jacob presses a button, shutting down the machine and looks down, "At least we know they are searching, right"

"Yeah, I guess ."

"Hey, we'll find her, don't worry about it."

"I know, but I still feel guilty about it, that it's my fault. "

"Hey, we all make mistakes, doesn't mean we should dwell on the idea."

"You're right, thank you Jacob. "

"Good, now let's get us some dinner."

Joining up with the rest, Jacob goes and gets the food. What surprises Martin a little is that the kibble they are once again given is not that bad, and Jacob saying that it is more better for Pokemon than the food that Alicia cooks. Though thing is that apparently Alicia cooks something that both humans and Pokemon can eat; so sometimes enough nutrition for the Pokemon that eat it. Just to let Julia and Allison eat something that can tastes a little more better than the usual kibble (even though there are different kinds of flavors).

After dinner, they take a small walk outside, exploring little of the city before going back to the center to sleep. Though Martin is woken up suddenly sometime later in the night by a thunderclap. Panting from the sudden sound, he looks around the room, only to see the others sleeping peacefully. The faint sounds of them breathing, and the plinks of rain at the window. Silently getting out of the bed, he climbs on top of a chair near the window, and moves the curtains away to see out the window.

Looking outside, the town looks as if no one lives here, other than the lights that lighten up the main streets and few buildings. Everything silent and not moving, other than two people from what Jacob told him is the museum and the Pokemon gym. What makes the humans curious to him, is the way they were walking away in a rush, a white bag in one of their hands. Though to Martin, they didn't seem like the people who did bad things, but still bothered about what they were going to do. Taking a deep yawn, he decides to ask Jacob about it tomorrow, and climbs back onto the bed he was sleeping on and goes to sleep.

With morning coming around, the thunderclaps still being heard and rain pattering on the window still. The group goes out into the cafeteria for breakfast, and then Jacob decides to head into the museum to check out the library, and say a hello to the gym leader since she and his mom are good friends. Not deciding to have the staff mad for having his Pokemon wet, he returns everyone back to their Pokeballs.

When he reaches the museum, he releases everyone back out, and enters the museum. Being greeted by a worker of the museum, and asking if Lenora is here.

"Sorry son, if you were going to battle her, she left sometime this early morning, had some troubles happening in Pinwheel Forest."

"Oh, okay, you know when she may be back?"

"Can't say, but you could wait here or come later."

"Alright, come on guys we're heading to the library."

Walking to the library, Martin is mesmerized by the museum's collections of fossils and old relics of human and Pokemon. But still following Jacob to the library that the museum holds.

Spending for the next many hours, Jacob went around, reading the books, also with Julia, who apparently is able to read the human language. Allison sleeping next to Jacob, and Martin peeking over Jacob's shoulder and trying to read the books he reads.

"Well, if it isn't Jacob, how have you been?"

Looking up from his book, Jacob smiles towards the woman that stands at the entrance of the library.

"I've been great, Lenora, though kind of sucks about this weather though."

"Yeah, I agree with you on that, son. How's your mother been doing?"

"She's been fine, now has her own official Pokemon now."

"That's wonderful! So any reason coming here other than a hello?"

"No, that's pretty much it, and just to read about here, let the time fly till the rain passes, So I could head off to Castelia."

"Well it's the afternoon, have lunch yet?"

"No, not yet, been here reading since morning."

"Come on then, I was heading somewhere to eat before hearing that you came,"

"Okay, alright guys, you'll have to back into your Pokeballs till we get there, unless you want to get wet," he takes out the Pokeballs.

With Allison still sleeping, he returns her first, then continues on for the rest. For a near short while later to Martin, they are released once again, and this time in one of the nearby restaurants. Eating a good dinner, and then heading back into the gym, where they spent the entire day watching Lenora battle, and doing some battling themselves. As night falls they say goodbyes and return back to the center.

Morning comes around, and Martin looks around, noticing that Jacob isn't around, only Julia and Allison whom are both still sleeping. A few minutes later, Jacob returns into the room, carrying in breakfast.

"Oh, morning Martin, sleep well?"

"Yeah, I did... Though where did you go to? "

"Well I woke a little earlier, and decided to say hi to mom, and grabbed some breakfast," he answers and walks next to Allison, and whispers something in her ear, which Martin couldn't hear.

Whatever it was, Allison woke up quickly, looking around excitedly. But to stop and face Jacob with a small growl.

"Jacob! I said I didn't like him!" she yells with a small blush.

"Okay, okay, sorry. Though mom did say he is Castelia right now. We might be able to make it by noon if we hurry, you know. Well, here's breakfast, eat up you two. Julia, get up!"

Finishing breakfast and yawns still here and there, they check out the room, and start to head of into Pinwheel forest. The morning bring a bit of cold, but not too cold for the Pokemon.

"As much as it's cold out here, it's quite nice, isn't it?"

"Yeah, though I don't feel much cold. "

"Well you have fur, that's why, Martin. I don't, the only thing I have is this jacket."

"Oh, right "

With noon coming around, the sun protruding through the trees more, a near silent ring starts to ring, making Jacob hastily trying to find something in the bag he carries. Finding what he needed, he brings out a small phone, and answers it.

"Yeah mom? What is it?" he hastily asks.

"Jacob... it's Jackie, it happened... I already sent a helicopter to you right now. It's going to take you to Nimbasa, stay where you are. " Alicia's voice emanates from the phone.

"Wait, so he is infected with whatever that big word is?"

"Seems like it, Joe sent some agents there already, though we want to be on the safe side. So they are waiting for you. Also seems like he got captured too, but when going into the rage, he attacked her from what I'm told."

"Well how much longer till the helicopter comes?"

"Well... should be hearing it by now, I have to go back and work, and I'm sure you remember what to do, right?"

"Yeah, I do mom, bye."

"As much as I want to be there, I can't. Talk to you later, sweetie."

"Jacob, who is Jackie, and where are we going?"

"Well he's a Zoroark that lived with us for a little, about a year before my mom found you. Also, we're going to one of the further cities, I'll have Julia explain it to you later, in the meantime, I need to return you three back to your Pokeballs. I hear the copter now, I'll let you guys out when we get there. With a flash, he manages to return all three in one go, and starts to climb the tossed down ladder. The only worry being that Jackie may have a more serious issue than what they presumed he would have; only attack Pokemon in a fury, but attacking a human? Well that just makes him even more nervous just at the thought of it, alongside other possibilities that could happen.
