Summary: As all of us are well know that Pokemon have their powers, and can be increased or decreased from certain circumstances. However, my college and I tested with Dark-Types, and based on analysis, they posses the most power.

Day One: Use of two testers, an Umbreon (Erelis: Ghost-1840-XXXXX) and Zoroark (Tristina: Ghost-1841-XXXXX). Today we start off with normal circumstances and under the moon.

Under broad daylight:

Tristina -using shadow ball- manages to nearly blast through 5 in. of steel, as most stadiums etc. have this thick of a steel protection (Click for image)

Erelis -using shadow ball- manages to have similar effect, but goes a little further as symptom codenamed: Further Weakened is applied. (Click for image)

Moonlight test:

Tristina: manages to blast through the 4 in. steel, however not cleanly through. (image) Outputting a total amount of energy to power a house applicant for an hour.

Erelis: same results, but a much bigger radius and continued for another three meters. (image) As he outputs a total of one and a quarter hours worth of power.

Concluded fact of day/night one: Dark type abilities are influenced by moonlight (Umbreons especially).

Week one, day four: Eleventh day of isolated testing. Tristina and Erelis showing similar effects.

Within the isolated rooms, lights started dimming, and seemingly absorbed to them; of which by the naked eye lights dim without touch, and by IR the light is being absorbed by them.

Both are still eating well, and seem to take a rather similar meditating pose. (Click for image)

Week one day six: Two more days until isolation test has ended.

Both rooms have completely gone dark, only way to see is through IR and night vision. Continuing from yesterday, both are not willing to eat, nor drink as they continue their meditational sitting position.

Electricity continues to flow to the light bulb in both rooms, however quickly absorbed still by them.

Week two, day one: Once released, both are unwilling to come out. Even some of the lights in the corridor start to flow to them. Also add in with a rather angry temper as well when nearing them. Nearly biting off a hand, even though it's a close friend to them.

Deciding to move the test into the room, we bring a 10 in. this time based on previous data indicating that they are eligible to blast through it.

Both are completely decimated, the entire block of it gone, and only the block of steel; however with black stains on the wall behind it (Click for image).

Energy output equivalent of a medium sized power plant with some black hole effect. Evidence of where the block of steel's whereabouts is still unknown, but based on the power output, it could be possible that it transported to another world, most presumably the Distortion World.

Conclusion: Dark-types - if left alone in isolation from anything long enough - they posses the power to possibly destroy the entire world by itself. However, two factors still makes this test off: Darkrai, and how are Dark-types not effected while in a Pokeball.
