The Pain of the Pokemon!

Poor Ashy

" What are you trying to say?" Oak asked as he, Tracey and Gary walked on the cliff.

" I'm saying there's something bothering the Pokemon." Gary replied, hands behind his back. " I think it's-"

Suddenly, the bushes rustled.

Gary gasped. " Hide!" He exclaimed.

The three hid in a nearby bush as they watched.

Out of the bushes came a black and white sneaker. Then a red one. And then a pink one.

Two older kids stepped out, and one younger. A Pikachu was on the boy's shoulder, and the older girl had a Togepi in her arms. And the younger one had an Eevee and Chikorita at her feet.

" Pikachu, are you sure this is the place?" the boy asked.

The pokemon nodded.

The older girl stared at the ocean lovingly. " Look at all that water....."

The boy looked at the older one. " Misty, we have no time to-"

" Wait, Ash, she might be onto something." The younger girl said. " Remember, your best friend- who- was- a rival- did say there was a sudden increase of Pokemon coming here to rest. I think they're fleeing."

" From where?" Ash asked.

Wisty took a map out of her bag and spread it on the floor, studying it. " Hmm.... we're over here....." Wisty muttered, drawing a circle.

Ash grabbed a marker and crouched down. " And here's the direction they're coming from." He drew arrows.

Misty studied it. " Huh."

The siblings turned. " Yes?" Ash asked.

" I just realized that's the direction the Kanto Region's in."

The siblings froze.

" Is that why....?" Wisty muttered.

Ash glanced at her. " I think so."

Wisty turned to her sister in law. " Hey Misty?"

" Mhm?"

" Remember that one day we were at the beach and there was nothing?"

" How could I NOT remember?" Misty said as she recalled that day.

Wisty took her phone out. " Hmm... we need more inforemation."

Suddenly, they felt a big earthquake, and a cry.

Ash, Misty, Wisty and Tracey's eyes widened.

" Lapras!"

The four ran down to the beach and jumped from rock to rock to reach Lapras.

Tracey reached into his bag and pulled out medication. " Here. Give this to it."

Ash nodded. " Here, lapras."

Lapras drank it without a fuss, and Wisty's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. " Hmm....."

Then she turned to the creature. " Hey, Lapras? Could you tell my Eevee something?"

Lapras let out a cry.

" Which part of the Kanto Reigion is it coming from?"

Lapras let out a cry, and Eevee's eyes widened.

" What is it, Eve?"

Eevee grabbed a stick and drew something in the sand. The four kids peered.

" Uh.... a beach?" Ash guessed.

" Really fat lips?" Misty added.

" Uh..... a really good looking Snorlax?" Tracey piped up.

Wisty remained silent as she studied it.

Then she snapped her fingers. " Platter!"

" Eveve!"

Wisty paced around. " Platter..... like a pallet.... pallet... PALLET!"

Wisty gasped. " Pallet town!"

Ash's eyes widened. " You think so?"

Wisty shrugged. " I dunno. You're the one who makes these decisions."

Ash blinked. " Right.... uh....... erm....."

" You don't know, do you?" Misty asked plainly.

" Hey, don't rush me!"

Wisty sighed and reached into her bag. She took something off, then yanked Ash's Hoen reigon hat off.

" Hey, what was tha-"

Then Wisty put his Kanto Reigon hat on.

" There. Now think."

Ash stared blankly. " I.... I don't know."

Wisty sighed. " I know why."

Ash glanced at her. " You do?"

" It's Gary."

" Gary?! What does he have to do with anything?!"

" Yeah, what do I have to do with anything?" Gary demanded as he stepped out of the bushes.

" Ash, the only reason you were able to make those decisions was because you wanted to compete wit GARY."

Ash blinked. " Yeah.... you're gonna have to be more specific."

" Ash, you always wanted to be one step ahead of Gary."

" yeah......?"

" So you used to make your decisions so you could somehow get closer to Gary!" Her fingers snapped. " And i don't even think tat Psychologic Nurse Joy could've figured THAT out!"

" There's a new Pokemon named Psychologic Nurse Joy?!"

" Pikachu......." The pokemon muttered as he shook his head.

Wisty looked at Eevee. " Eevee, we have to go back home to investigate, and since it affects all Pokemon, you're gonna have to go into your Pokeball, understood?"

" Evevevveve!"

Wisty sighed. " I know you hate being confined bu-"

" Eev! Vee vee evevevevveve!"

Wisty stared at her Pokemon.

Then she sighed.

" Fine."

Ash raised a brow. " So.... what're we gonna do?"

Wisty shrugged helplessly. " How should I-"

" Eevee!"

Wisty's eyes widened. " It's a place with loads of Pokemon?!"

" Eve!"

" An Observatory?!"

" Eveveveve!"

" A place Ash got his Pikachu?!"

The siblings gasped. " THE LAB!"

" We have to get there, now!" Ash exclaimed.

Wisty threw a Pokeball up. " Pigeotto, I choose you!"

" Pigeoooo!"

" Piggy, please fly us to the Observatory back home okay? Go as far as you can take us without being bothered by the sound, got it?"

" Pigeotto!"

Misty raised a brow. " So we're just gonna kick the door until it opens? Because the Professor has the keys."

Wisty gave a sinister smile. " I have my ways."

Ash backed away. " Wisty, why do you look so evil?"

Wisty shrugged. " I dunno."

Then she grabbed Ash's arm. " Come on, we have to go, now!"

Pigeotto flew away as soon as the siblings climbed on, leaving the other humans on the island.

Ash glanced at Wisty. " We're doing this on our own?"

" Isn't that how we do stuff 'round here?"

Ash smiled. " Yeah, it is."

When they landed near the shoreline of Kanto, Pigeotto suddenly let out an agonized screech. Wisty's eyes widened.

" Piggy, return."

" Uh, Wisty....?"

Wisty turned to Ash. " Hmm?"

Ash pointed down, and Wisty gasped.

They were falling.

Ash screamed, while Wisty yelled.

" WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?" Wisty yelled.

" I DUNNO!" Ash replied.

Wisty looked as the ground and them were closing distance. " Uh..."

Then she caught sight of a tree. " ASH, AIM YOUR ROPE TO THAT TREE! WITH ENOUGH LUCK, WE MAY BE ABLE TO SWING OUR WAY TO THE GROUND."

" I'LL TAKE YOUR WORD FOR IT!"

Wisty twirled her rope like a lasso and threw it at  a sturdy tree branch. Ash followed suit, and they swung towards the tree.

" Nice one!" Ash complimented.

" Hey, thanks! But now's not the time." Wisty replied. " We need to get to the Oak lab."

" Agreed."

" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH IT'S SO AGONIZING!" Ash yelled as he covered his ears.

" CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Wisty opened an eye. " LET'S PUT OUR POKEMON AT THE BASE OF THAT TREE!"

" AGREED!"

They ran to the tree, unloaded all their Pokemon ( in a secure box of course) and stored it in a secret compartment.

" Pikachu, you need to hide too." Ash said as he put mufflers in his Pokemon's ear.

" You too, Eevee." Wisty agreed.

" Pikachu!"

" Eveve!"

It was clear they weren't gonna go anywhere without their owners.

Ash sighed. " I suppose....  It couldn't hurt."

Wisty sighed but gave the Pokemon earbuds. " Put these in so the nose can't affect you."

The Pokemon obeyed

Ash and Wisty shared a look before making their way to the machine.

Which was not as easy as it sounds.

Because there was a loud disorienting sound coming from it.

" This ... Is bad!" Ash yelled through gritted teeth.

" You're.... Telling.... Me?" Wisty muttered.

Ash opened an eye. _ we're almost there!"

Wisty nodded. " Just gotta... Reach....."

At the same time, both Pokemon lunged forward and hit the button shut

The four collapsed.

" That.... Was eventful." Ash muttered.

Wisty sighed. " Yeah... But at least the Pokemon are happy now."

Then they heard an angered voice. " Ash. Wisty."

They both froze and turned

" Oh... Hi Gary." Ash said nervously.

" We fixed the thing!" Wisty said cheerfully.

Gary sighed.
