" Hey Drew!"

Drew picked his phone up and smelled a rose. " Well, if it isn't my Junebug. Guess you didn't forget me."

May groaned. " Drew! We saw each other yesterday!"

" I know, but it still feels like a whole. What's up?"

" I need help babysitting."

Drew blinked. " What makes you think I'm good with kids?"

" Because you can handle me."

Drew chuckled. " Fair point. Okay, I'm coming."

When Drew stepped into the house, he ducked as a block soared through the sky

" Tessa! Stop that!" May scolded, then waved at Drew. " Hi Drew!"

" Wook, Wiwy!" Tessa yelled, pointing at Drew. " It's Aunt May's husband!"

Drew blinked, and May choked on her breath. " What?!"

Tessa gave an innocent smile. " Yeah! Mommy say when two people wike eat oder, dey mawy!"

" Did they say that?" May asked with a dark expression . " Mary's in big trouble."

Lily, Tessa's ten year old sister, looked up from her tablet. " Hmmmm...." She said, surveying Drew and May. " No, this will not do."

May blinked. " What will not do?"

Tessa ignored. " Aunt May, go into that bathroom._ she said, pointing to one. " And uncle Drew, the other."

" But wh-"

Lily shot Drew a look, and a sweatdrop appeared on his head. " Okay okay...."

When they came out, they blinked and stared at one another.

May was wearing a pale pink gown with an orange veil. Drew was wearing a white starched shirt with a pale green vest

" Uh.... You look nice?" May offered.

Drew gave her a look " you don't look half bad yourself."

" Hey!" She exclaimed. But before she coulf say another word, Lily came in.

" Ah, good. You two are ready. Come on, the guests are waiting."

" What are the guests for?* Drew asked.

" Your wedding."

" OUR WEDDING?!" they yelled.

But before they could say anything else, Lily had already thrown them out.

When May stood, the first thing she saw was Ash, Misty, Brock, and Max confused and dressed in fancy attire.

" Uh..... Who's the wedding for?" Misty asked, confused.

Drew stared at the gathered crowd, his jaw hanging open. "Okay, what in Arceus' name is going on here?"

May groaned, tugging at the hem of her overly frilly gown. "I have no idea, but Lily's got some explaining to do."

"Explaining can wait!" Lily clapped her hands, standing on a small stool like she was the officiant. "The bride and groom need to take their places. Everyone, sit down!"

"Sit down?!" May sputtered. "We're not actually doing this!"

Tessa giggled, tugging on May’s dress. "Yes, you are, Aunt May. It’s wove!"

Drew pinched the bridge of his nose. "Why am I even here?"

"Because you love Aunt May," Tessa declared with the confidence of a four-year-old.

Ash leaned over to Misty and whispered, "This is getting weird."

Misty crossed her arms. "Getting? Ash, we’re sitting in someone’s living room, dressed for a wedding that’s not real."

Brock chuckled. "It’s entertaining, though."

Max, looking thoroughly unimpressed, sighed. "Why am I in a bowtie for this nonsense?"

"Silence!" Lily barked. "We’re about to start. Uncle Drew, stand here. Aunt May, over there." She pointed to their respective spots, and when they hesitated, she narrowed her eyes. "Now."

With a shared look of resignation, Drew and May took their places. Drew muttered under his breath, "I swear, Lily’s scarier than a Gyarados."

"More like a Tyranitar," May shot back.

Lily grinned, proud of her power. "Now, let the ceremony begin!" She flipped open a picture book, pretending it was an official script. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join Aunt May and Uncle Drew in holy matri-thingy."

"Matri-thingy?" May asked incredulously.

"Shush!" Lily hissed. "This is serious. Now, Uncle Drew, do you have your vows ready?"

"Vows?" Drew repeated. "Of course, I don’t have—"

Lily cut him off, shoving a sheet of paper into his hand. "Read this!"

Drew glanced at the paper and groaned. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me."

"Read. It." Lily’s glare left no room for argument.

Clearing his throat, Drew began, voice dripping with sarcasm, "May, from the moment I met you, I knew you were—" He paused, wincing. "The most beautiful flower in the garden of my heart."

Max gagged loudly.

"Keep going!" Lily snapped.

Drew rolled his eyes but continued, "Your smile lights up my day, and your endless stubbornness is, uh... endearing. I promise to always battle by your side and to never, ever let you win just because you’re mad."

May blinked at him, face red. "You better not let me win!"

Lily huffed, "Now, Aunt May, your turn."

"I don’t have—" May began, but Lily shoved another paper at her.

Sighing in defeat, May read aloud, "Drew, you are... the most insufferable yet oddly charming person I’ve ever met. Your endless need to show off somehow makes you bearable, and your hair..." She squinted at the paper. "Really does look like a Roselia. I promise to put up with you, as long as you stop calling me 'Junebug' in public."

"Wow," Drew deadpanned. "Touching."

"Perfect!" Lily declared. "Now, for the rings!"

"We don’t have rings," May said quickly, hoping to derail this madness.

Tessa held up two candy rings, grinning. "We do now!"

Ash whispered to Brock, "This might be the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen Jigglypuff with a marker."

"Same," Brock replied, amused.

Lily handed the rings to Drew and May. "Now exchange them."

With exaggerated slowness, they slid the sticky candy rings onto each other’s fingers, both wearing expressions of utter defeat.

"Great!" Lily clapped her hands. "Now, you may kiss."

"WHAT?!" Drew and May shouted in unison.

"You have to kiss! That’s how it works!" Lily insisted.

"No way!" May crossed her arms. "That’s where I draw the line!"

"Yeah, absolutely not," Drew agreed.

Lily glared at them, her pout turning deadly. "Do. It. Or else."

"What’s the 'or else'?" Drew challenged.

"You don’t want to find out," Lily replied ominously.

Drew glanced at May, who looked equally horrified. With a resigned sigh, he leaned in slightly. "Let’s just get this over with."

"Fine," May muttered, face redder than a Tamato Berry.

The “kiss” was the briefest, most awkward peck imaginable, but it was enough to make the room erupt in cheers.

"Yay!" Tessa clapped. "You’re mawwied now!"

Lily beamed. "My work here is done."

Drew groaned, tugging at his vest. "This is officially the weirdest day of my life."

"Same," May muttered, yanking off the veil. "Never babysitting again."
