" Hey Drew!"

Drew picked his phone up and smelled a rose. " Well, if it isn't my Junebug. Guess you didn't forget me."

May groaned. " Drew! We saw each other yesterday!"

" I know, but it still feels like a whole. What's up?"

" I need help babysitting."

Drew blinked. " What makes you think I'm good with kids?"

" Because you can handle me."

Drew chuckled. " Fair point. Okay, I'm coming."

When Drew stepped into the house, he ducked as a block soared through the sky

" Tessa! Stop that!" May scolded, then waved at Drew. " Hi Drew!"

" Wook, Wiwy!" Tessa yelled, pointing at Drew. " It's Aunt May's husband!"

Drew blinked, and May choked on her breath. " What?!"

Tessa gave an innocent smile. " Yeah! Mommy say when two people wike eat oder, dey mawy!"

" Did they say that?" May asked with a dark expression . " Mary's in big trouble."

Lily, Tessa's ten year old sister, looked up from her tablet. " Hmmmm...." She said, surveying Drew and May. " No, this will not do."

May blinked. " What will not do?"

Tessa ignored. " Aunt May, go into that bathroom._ she said, pointing to one. " And uncle Drew, the other."

" But wh-"

Lily shot Drew a look, and a sweatdrop appeared on his head. " Okay okay...."

When they came out, they blinked and stared at one another.

May was wearing a pale pink gown with an orange veil. Drew was wearing a white starched shirt with a pale green vest

" Uh.... You look nice?" May offered.

Drew gave her a look " you don't look half bad yourself."

" Hey!" She exclaimed. But before she coulf say another word, Lily came in.

" Ah, good. You two are ready. Come on, the guests are waiting."

" What are the guests for?* Drew asked.

" Your wedding."

" OUR WEDDING?!" they yelled.

But before they could say anything else, Lily had already thrown them out.

When May stood, the first thing she saw was Ash, Misty, Brock, and Max confused and dressed in fancy attire.

" Uh..... Who's the wedding for?" Misty asked, confused.

May groaned, rubbing her temples. “Lily! What in the world is going on here?!”

Drew tugged at his collar, clearly uncomfortable. “Yeah, what exactly do you mean our wedding?”

Lily stood before them, hands on her hips and a gleam of determination in her eye. “It’s simple. Aunt May and Uncle Drew, you like each other. Mommy says that means you have to get married. So, here we are. Now, let’s not waste time. Guests are waiting.”

Ash scratched his head. “Wait… May and Drew? Married? Since when?”

Brock grinned knowingly. “Oh, come on, Ash. Anyone with eyes can see they like each other.”

I do not like him!” May shouted, her face red. “This is ridiculous!”

Drew smirked. “Aw, don’t be shy, May. I know you’ve been dreaming about this day your whole life.”

“Dreaming about throwing you off a cliff, maybe!” May snapped, crossing her arms.

“Alright, alright, enough bickering,” Misty cut in, arms crossed. “Let’s just figure out how to calm Lily down and get out of these ridiculous outfits.”

Lily clapped her hands. “Nope! The wedding is happening! Uncle Drew, Aunt May, take your places at the altar!”

“Lily, this is insane,” May protested, but Lily’s sharp glare silenced her.

“Do you want to make Tessa cry?” Lily asked, and May winced. Sure enough, Tessa was pouting in the corner, looking ready to burst into tears.

“Fine,” May grumbled, stomping toward the makeshift altar. “But I’m not saying ‘I do.’”

Drew followed, still smirking. “Oh, I don’t know, May. Maybe this is fate.”

“Keep it up, Drew, and fate might involve a frying pan to your head.”

Lily beamed as they reached their spots. “Okay, everybody, quiet down! The ceremony is starting!”

Brock leaned over to Misty. “Is she really going to officiate this thing?”

“Apparently,” Misty whispered back, struggling not to laugh.

Lily cleared her throat. “We are gathered here today to celebrate the love between Aunt May and Uncle Drew—”

There is no love!” May interrupted.

“—who have finally decided to stop being stubborn and get married,” Lily continued without missing a beat. “Now, Uncle Drew, do you promise to… um… be nice and not tease Aunt May too much?”

Drew grinned. “I do.”

“May!” Lily turned to her with a serious expression. “Do you promise to stop yelling at Uncle Drew when he’s obviously joking?”

May glared at Drew, who wiggled his eyebrows. “I… guess,” she muttered through gritted teeth.

“Good enough!” Lily said brightly. “Now, by the power vested in me as the smartest person in the room, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!”

WHAT?!” Drew and May exclaimed in unison.

“Do it, or Tessa cries,” Lily said simply, folding her arms.

Drew turned to May, smirk still firmly in place. “Well, Junebug, looks like we’re stuck.”

May’s face was as red as a tomato. “Don’t you dare—”

But before she could finish, Drew leaned down and gave her a quick peck on the cheek.

“There. Happy now?” he said, looking at Lily.

Lily tilted her head thoughtfully. “Hmm. I guess that counts. Okay, everyone, let’s eat cake!”

May stood frozen, her hand on her cheek where Drew had kissed her. “I… you… you’re so dead,” she finally sputtered, glaring at him.

Drew just laughed. “Worth it.”
