Putting the Air in Aerodactyl

" I wonder if I should have stayed as being a Pokemon master."

" Gary. You have the makings of a wonderful Pokemon Researcher. Right now is the start of that journey. I have no doubt you'll do amazing."

" Thanks grandpa."

Suddenly, the bushes rustled. Gary's eyes narrowed. " We're not alone."

Tracy put his sketchbook away. " Think it's Team Rocket?"

Oak shrugged. " Prepare for anything."

The figure got closer, and then.... Wham! A Pokemon on a leash burst through the scene, pulling a young girl on a skateboard. Gary was able to catch the person's face.

" Wisty?!"

Wisty looked and waved. " Hiya Gary!"

Then she looked ahead. " Let's go, Jolteon! We need to find that Aerodactyl!"

Gary ran behind Wisty, his grandpa and Tracy following. " Wisty, that's dangerous!" He exclaimed.

Wisty smirked. " You're forgetting something."

" What's that?" Gary asked with a raised brow.

" I'm a Pokemon master and a Pokemon Whisperer!"

Gary slowed down slightly. " Wisty!"

Wisty rolled her eyes. " Relax! I'm going to be fine!*

She jumped off in front of the creature and walked to it slowly.

" Hey, big guy. It's okay. I've met one of your kind a while back. With my brother, Ash."

Gary overheard. " They saw an Aerodactyl?!"

The Aerodactyl lifted its head and blinked. Wisty smiled

" Ash, ready when you are."

" Got it, sis."

Suddenly, another Aerodactyl flew overhead, holding Ash on its back.

The Aerodactyl Ash was riding let out a mighty screech, its wings cutting through the air as it swooped down to join the scene. Though wild, the creature didn’t seem agitated. Ash, with his usual confidence, sat on its back, a determined grin on his face as he held onto its rough scales.

“Easy there, big guy,” Ash muttered, gently patting the Aerodactyl’s side. “We’re not here to hurt you.”

The Aerodactyl lowered its head, now calm under Ash’s guidance. Wisty stood before the other one, its eyes watching her warily but not hostile. She extended her hand slowly, her movements measured and calm, her voice soft yet commanding.

“There you go, big fella,” Wisty whispered. “I know this world can be confusing, but you belong somewhere special. You belong at Neon Town, over by Grandpa Canyon. It’s the perfect place for a Pokémon like you.”

The Aerodactyl blinked at her, then let out a low rumble. Slowly, it lowered its head in a sign of trust. Wisty smiled, turning to Gary and the others, who had caught up, standing at a safe distance.

Gary’s eyes widened in surprise. “You really tamed it… just like that.”

“Like I said,” Wisty replied, her tone playful yet proud. “I’m a Pokémon Whisperer. It’s kinda my thing.”

Professor Oak looked on with a mixture of pride and awe. “Remarkable… Absolutely remarkable, Wisty. You’ve truly mastered the art of communicating with Pokémon. Your instincts, your bond with them—it’s something special.”

Wisty gave a small chuckle, running her hand along the Aerodactyl’s rough skin. “Thanks, Professor. But you should’ve seen Ash and me back when we first met one of these guys. It wasn’t exactly this calm.”

Ash, still sitting on the second Aerodactyl, grinned as he guided it down beside his sister. “Yeah, that first time was wild! But now, I think we’ve got the hang of it, huh, buddy?” He gave the Aerodactyl a gentle nudge, and it responded with a soft roar.

Tracy, still catching his breath, took out his sketchbook again and began quickly sketching the scene. “I’ve gotta capture this moment… Two wild Aerodactyls, tamed by two of the best trainers out there. Unbelievable!”

Gary folded his arms, smirking slightly. “I hate to admit it, but that was impressive. Still, chasing down wild Aerodactyls is a bit reckless, don’t you think?”

Wisty rolled her eyes. “Come on, Gary. You know we’ve handled way worse. Besides, we couldn’t just let these guys fly around and scare everyone. They needed someone to guide them.”

Ash nodded in agreement. “Exactly. And now that we’ve got them under control, we’ll take them where they belong—just like Wisty said.”

Professor Oak stroked his chin thoughtfully. “Grandpa Canyon… Yes, that area is known for its prehistoric Pokémon population. It makes perfect sense for these Aerodactyls to be there. They’ll be much safer, and they won’t pose any danger to the surrounding towns.”

Wisty gave Jolteon a pat on the head, her smile widening. “See, Jolteon? We’ve got everything under control, like always.”

Jolteon barked happily, its fur sparking lightly in excitement.

Gary sighed, finally relaxing a bit. “Alright, alright. But next time, maybe a little heads-up before you go chasing after prehistoric Pokémon?”

Wisty flashed him a mischievous grin. “Where’s the fun in that, Gary?”

As the group prepared to escort the Aerodactyls to their new home, the bond between Ash and Wisty was more evident than ever. Together, they had an unshakable confidence—a trust in each other and in the Pokémon they protected.

Ash glanced over at his sister and gave a thumbs-up. “Ready to head to Grandpa Canyon?”

Wisty smirked, stepping back onto her skateboard as Jolteon barked at her side. “You bet. Let’s go, Ash. Time to give these big guys a proper home.”

Oh dear he looks so smug

And now he looks surprised

Hehe look at him now

And here he looks evil
