Advice to Goh!
" I just want to make sure you DESERVE to be Ash's buddy, understand?"
" Agh! Come on! What is WITH this guy?!" Goh yelled as he accusingly pointed at Gary.
A sweat drop appeared on Ash's head. " Oh, well, he always used to act this way with me. By the way, what was the goal you were talking about?"
" A legenda-"
Before he could finish, an Altaria dropped a girl with a pink dress and blue shoes onto Gary, tackling him onto the ground.
" HE'S HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE!"
Gary winced slightly. " Wisty, you're gonna make me deaf one day or ano- WOAH!" he yelped as Wisty, with suprising strength for her young age, grabbed Gary by the hand and started to spin.
Well, Wisty's feet stayed on the ground. Gary's?
Not so much.
Well, not at all.
In fact, HIS feet were in the air like a ragdoll's, and he yelped everytime Wisty swung him.
" WISTY YOU'RE GONNA KILL HIM!" Ash yelled.
Wisty stopped.
But before she did, she swung Gary into a high tree. With a yelp, he went from the ground to soaring in the air to being stuck in a tree.
Ash ran to the trunk. " Are you okay?" He called.
Gary glared at him. " Do I LOOK okay?"
Ash grinned sheepishly. " Sorry."
Gary glared at Wisty. " You could have said hi like a normal person!"
" IT'S MORE FUN!"
Ash sighed. " No it's not."
Wisty shot him a look. " Oh, dear Ashy. You wouldn't understand the complex things in my mind. As would you, Gary- Berry."
Gary groaned, still stuck in the tree as he shot a withering look down at Wisty. "'Gary-Berry'? Really? And what's with the British accent now?"
Wisty smirked, twirling her fingers through her hair dramatically. "Oh, dear Gary-Berry, I'm merely adding some class to this otherwise dull reunion. You wouldn't understand. It's far too sophisticated for you," she said, over-enunciating each word like a fancy aristocrat.
Ash pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing again. "Wisty, you're making it harder for him to take you seriously."
Wisty ignored him, her attention fixed on Gary, who was trying to wriggle free from the tree branches. "Now, dear baby, shall I call a butler to help you down, or would you prefer I do the honors and rescue you myself?"
Gary glared at her. "I'd prefer if you stopped flinging me into trees, honestly."
Wisty giggled. "Oh, but where's the fun in that? Come on now, good chap, I'm sure you'll live!"
Goh, meanwhile, just stood there, utterly baffled. He leaned in to whisper to Ash. "Is she... always like this?"
Ash chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah... she, uh, likes to mess with people. Especially Gary."
Goh raised an eyebrow. "Seems like she's making his life a nightmare."
"Yup," Ash agreed with a sigh. "But believe it or not, she does it because she cares."
Wisty placed a hand on her hip, still smirking at Gary, who finally managed to get his leg unstuck from a particularly stubborn branch. "Well, my good friend, I hope this experience was enlightening! Maybe next time, you'll come prepared."
Gary dropped to the ground with a thud, glaring up at her as he stood, brushing dirt off his clothes. "Next time? If there is a next time, I'm running the other direction as soon as I see you."
Wisty gasped dramatically, placing her hand on her chest. "Oh, dearest Gary-Berry, how you wound me! How could you say such a thing to your beloved frenemy?"
Gary's eye twitched. "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that."
Ash snickered at the exchange. "Good luck with that, Gary. She doesn't give up easily."
Wisty turned to Ash with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Now, dear Ashy, do you think your friend here deserves to remain your buddy after that performance?"
Ash put his hands up defensively. "Leave me out of this, Wisty. You two have your own thing going on."
Wisty laughed. "Fine, fine. But I expect a more dignified greeting next time, Gary-Berry!" She curtsied dramatically, then spun on her heel and sauntered off with an exaggerated air of elegance.
Gary just groaned, turning to Ash with a defeated expression. "How do you survive having her as a sister?"
Ash chuckled, giving him a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. "You just get used to it, man."
