Advice to Goh!
" Agh! Come on! What is WITH this guy?!" Goh yelled as he accusingly pointed at Gary.
A sweat drop appeared on Ash's head. " Oh, well, he always used to act this way with me. By the way, what was the goal you were talking about?"
" A legenda-"
Before he could finish, an Altaria dropped a girl with a pink dress and blue shoes onto Gary, tackling him onto the ground.
" HE'S HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE!"
Gary winced slightly. " Wisty, you're gonna make me deaf one day or ano- WOAH!" he yelped as Wisty, with suprising strength for her young age, grabbed Gary by the hand and started to spin.
Well, Wisty's feet stayed on the ground. Gary's?
Not so much.
Well, not at all.
In fact, HIS feet were in the air like a ragdoll's, and he yelped everytime Wisty swung him.
" WISTY YOU'RE GONNA KILL HIM!" Ash yelled.
Wisty stopped.
But before she did, she swung Gary into a high tree. With a yelp, he went from the ground to soaring in the air to being stuck in a tree.
Ash ran to the trunk. " Are you okay?" He called.
Gary glared at him. " Do I LOOK okay?"
Ash grinned sheepishly. " Sorry."
Gary glared at Wisty. " You could have said hi like a normal person!"
" IT'S MORE FUN!"
Gary dangled from the tree, his arms crossed, while leaves and twigs poked out of his disheveled hair. "Wisty!" he yelled. "You're supposed to greet people, not launch them!"
Wisty just shrugged, an innocent smile plastered on her face as she brushed her hands off like she'd just completed a satisfying job. "What? That's how I show excitement!"
Ash, meanwhile, could barely contain his laughter, trying to hide it behind his hand but failing miserably. "You do realize you're stuck, right?" he teased, looking up at Gary.
Gary grumbled, "I know that, Ashy-boy. Get me down!"
Wisty, ever the prankster, looked thoughtful for a moment, tapping her chin. "Hmm... I don't know. Maybe you should get used to being up there. You seem pretty comfortable," she said, stifling a giggle.
Gary's glare deepened, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Oh yeah, super comfortable. Just hanging out. No big deal."
Ash motioned to his Pikachu. "Pikachu, give him a little help."
Pikachu nodded, climbing up the trunk of the tree with nimble speed. Within seconds, it reached Gary's branch and gave it a playful nudge. With a sharp crack, the branch broke loose, and Gary fell unceremoniously to the ground with a loud thud.
"Ow..." Gary groaned, rubbing his back.
Ash leaned over, grinning. "You alright?"
Gary shot him a withering look. "I was before this circus act started," he grumbled, dusting himself off.
Wisty crossed her arms, a teasing smirk on her lips. "Come on, Gary. It's not that bad. You survived, didn't you?"
Gary glared at her, still sprawled on the ground. "Barely!"
Ash chuckled as he extended a hand to help Gary up. "Well, to be fair, this isn't the first time Wisty's greeted someone like this."
"Yeah, but why is it always me she picks on?" Gary muttered, accepting Ash's help and getting to his feet. "It's like she's got a personal vendetta against me."
Wisty put her hands on her hips and winked. "Oh, come on, Gary! It's because you're my favorite!" She gave him an exaggerated thumbs-up.
Gary blinked in confusion. "Wait—favorite?"
Ash looked equally puzzled. "Since when?"
Wisty smiled sweetly, an expression far too innocent for someone who had just launched her brother's best friend into a tree. "Since always," she said with a shrug. "You're just so fun to mess with!"
Gary sighed, shaking his head. "Remind me why I even bother showing up around here anymore?"
Ash grinned, clapping Gary on the back. "Because deep down, you love the chaos."
Gary opened his mouth to argue, but paused. "I...I guess," he admitted reluctantly, then shot a glance at Wisty. "But next time, please just say hi. No more tree-tossing, okay?"
Wisty chuckled. "No promises."
Ash laughed as Pikachu climbed back onto his shoulder. "See? Things are never boring when Wisty's around."
Gary groaned. "Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of."
