Story time~~

Red was the older brother of Ilene who was adopted into the Ketchum family. Sir Aaron was actually Red's father, well Sir Aaron was 1000 years old and married to ( ) *no spoilers*. Red wanted to explore Kanto and become champion without people knowing his status to which Aaron happily complied. Aaron would usually take them to pallet town, so much that it became a second home to them and then he met Blue (son of professor Oak) and befriended him who didn't treat him as if he was a prince or anything just as the same person as him. Due to this, they usually had competed with each other in everything to see whose the best. This became second nature for them and soon the day came when they would choose their starters and Red had requested to pick one from professor Oak's lab. *Everything went just like in the canon* When Red was married to Delia, he requested that when he had a son/daughter they would stay in a pallet to give his son some years of a normal childhood. Aaron and ( ) would stay with them. After every 6 months, they would go back to Rota to rule. Red wanted both he and Ilene would rule. Aaron was happy at his selflessness. He decided that Ilene would rule till he, Delia, and their son came back to Rota. Everything was set until Red disappeared. *Aaron died just like in the movie and stayed with them through aura till he got too weak and had to go back*

I was listening attentively. I had no words for this. I needed comfort. I hugged Ilene and held her like she was my lifeline. She didn't seem to mind considering she hugged me back at that moment. She must've needed it too. We stayed like that for a good time while mom smiled warmly at us letting us just wiping away a few tears that had come while listening to the story.

After we departed, sis spoke up "You know what that means?" I shake my head, no.

She gave me a smile and said "Your father was a prince so that makes you a prince too!!" She made jazzed hands trying to make me excited.

A prince, huh?? Doesn't sound bad but me, a prince?? Wouldn't someone who isn't 'me' be more suitable to be a prince??

All I said in reply was "ok".
