Prologue

A/N: Hey guys! One Fairy here! I just wanted you all to know that this story is very similar to my other Poke. fanfic. This story is also being published on my 1 year anniversary on Wattpad!! Well technically, it's today, April 28, but you guys are probably reading on a diff. date. But whatever! Pls, enjoy the book! Thank you!

May's P.O.V

I ran and ran far away with my sister Rei right behind me. I let out a laugh as we ran into a alley and jumped over a fence. "Did you see that old mans face! I mean, we practically stole right under his nose! He just kept smiling!" Rei barked. "Haha! You said it! Man, without you, who knows where we could be!" I laughed. "I don't know. Probably in some hell hole!" Rei laughed. We both laughed as we reached our destination.

It was a wrecked tree house in part of the forest just outside the border of Flora town. Nice name huh? Deadly wrong. Flora town is one of the most dangerous towns in this region. It's where all the Hybrids are. (Not literally.)

A dangerous community for normals. And if you are a normal living in that town then your either one of the most caring human beings ever, or just straight out crazy. But that town has enough problems so we just stole from Belham Town where all the rich people live.

I nodded towards Rei.

"Roses are Red,

Violets are blue

You must be crazy

Cause I'm out to murder you"

Rei whispered. (I couldn't think of anything else XD)

A white barrier revealed itself before glowing gold for a quick second. We steeped inside the barrier, causing the barrier to shine gold once again and then disappear. We walk inside the abandoned tree house only to be greeted by my two other sisters. "May! Rei! Welcome back!" A blunette greeted.

The blunette had messy hair, her messy bangs held back with gold clips. She was wearing tattered skinny jeans and a torn black tank top. On top of her tank top was a old worn out grey hoodie. She had on old converses as well.

"Did the stealing go well?" A dark brunette asked.

She had dark, smooth, brown hair flowing down past below her waist. She wore a tattered black sleeved knee length dress with knee length black boots. Her sleeves were ripped and there was a gold chained necklace hanging from her neck.

"Yup." I replied, dropping a bag of stuff into Dawn's hands. I walked over to one of the sides of the treehouse where my final sister laid. She was breathing heavily, her cheeks flushed from her fever. I took out a bottle of pills and grabbed a bottle of water. I quickly read the description.

"Mist. Mist, get up." I stirred the red head. Carefully, Misty opened her eyes and sat up slowly. I popped two pills in her mouth and gave her water. She chugged down the water and laid back down.

Misty has red messy hair tied into a side ponytail. She's wearing tattered jean shorts, a long sleeved sweater, and underneath her is a not so clean blanket. Misty is the oldest of us. She's usually the one to heal us, but she exhausted to much of her powers when she was healing Leaf. Her sickness is unknown. That's scary.

BAM!

"What was that!" Dawn shrieked. "Someone just crashed into the barrier!" Rei whispered. "What!? That's impossible! No one dares to ever come to this part of the forest!" I whisper harshly.

It's true. Everyone in Flora Town knows us. Everyone there knows our powers very well and wouldn't dare to mess with us. Could we have been caught... No, that's impossible... Wait! It's already September... Which means the Hybrid Protection Academy is scouting for people! Dang it, they must have sensed us or something.

Everyone became quiet.

"Ouch! The heck?" A voice, presumably the person who bumped into the barrier, hissed. "What happened Ashy boy? There's nothing there." Another voice said. "There's a barrier!" The first voice exclaimed.

"There's nothing there Ash. Your probably seeing things." A different voice said this time. "No guys! I'm serious! Look!" Ash, the first voice, exclaimed. Ash put his hand on the barrier and the barrier revealed itself for a short second.

"Woah." The second and third voice gawked. "Will you all just hurry up." Another voice growled. "All right, all right. Geez..." The second voice grumbled.

'Males!?' Dawn mouthed. 'According to my powers, there's another one!' Leaf mouthed. 'Rei!' I mouthed. 'Alright! Can you guys hear me?' Rei thought. 'Yes! Who are they?!' Dawn shrieked in her thoughts. 'Dawn! No need to scream!' Leaf yelled in her mind.

If you haven't noticed, Rei just used her powers to link our minds together. That way we don't need to worry about being heard. Rei is a Psychic. Or more pacifically, she has the power of telepathy, psychokinesis, astral projection, illusions, and barriers. Her psychic powers can also be used as a weapon but Rei usually uses her powers for defense.

'What do we do?' I ask in my mind. 'Okay. Dawn, I want you to go outside and ask them what they want. You have the most innocent look out of all of us. If they accuse you of being a hybrid, deny it.' Leaf ordered in her mind. 'Alright.' Dawn said.

Nobody's P.O.V

Dawn walked out of the treehouse only to sweatdrop. Dawn's face went blank as she watched a maroon hair dude and a green hair dude argue. "C'mon Conbolt! Hurry up and break the barrier!" The green dude shouted. The guy with maroon hair, Conbolt, growled, "Shut up Hayden! I already told you that I can't dispel this barrier!" "And why not!" Ash, a raven haired boy wailed. "There's some sort of enchantment on this one!" Conbolt exploded.

"It's actually an earth enchantment." Dawn piped up. The boys whipped their heads towards Dawn and their eyes widened. "What the heck! When did you get there!?" The boys burst out. "A minute ago." Dawn piped.

"Whatever. Who are you?" A guy with purple hair scowled. "That should be my question." Dawn stated. 'Just finished scanning their minds. Their students from the Hybrid Academy. They saw straight through my illusion at the store.' Rei said. 'What? How?" May asked. 'They were trained to see through illusions. They're Ruby students, whatever the heck that means. But one of them is Emerald or something. Purple guy is Paul Shinji. Green dude is Andrew Hayden. Maroon guy is Conbolt Airstrike. Guy with black hair is Ash Ketchum. Silvery hair is Daichi Kimoto. The Emerald of the group. And finally the dude with brown hair is Gary Oak.' Rei explained.

"Explains the uniforms..." Dawn muttered. "What?" Drew asked. "Nothing," Dawn responded. "But why are you guys here?" The guys looked at each other. "We're here because we believe two girls with brown and purple hair who stole from a local grocery store are here in that treehouse." Gary said pointing at the run down tree house.

"Hm? I apologize but what makes you think that the thieves you are looking for a here?" Dawn asked innocently. "Well, because we saw the two run into this forest. And it's quite suspicious that a barrier is here in this forest protecting some old tree house." Conbolt pointed out. "Well, I can tell you that I actually live in that old tree house." Dawn huffed.

"You live in there?" Ash said, pointing at the tree house. "Yea. You know, I'm pretty fortunate that I actually have some place to sleep on except the ground." Dawn shrugged. "Are you homeless?" Paul asked. " Of course not. I mean like, don't you think my clothes are worth a million bucks!" Dawn said sarcastically. Paul grunted. "Of course I'm homeless!" Dawn claimed, rolling her eyes.

"Okay, but why the barrier." Gary asked. "I have a friend who's a hybrid. She's usually with me but she's in Kanto. And since I live near Flora Town she put this barrier to protect me." Dawn half lied. She did have a friend who put this barrier on but she wasn't in Kanto. Actually, she's in the treehouse. (If you haven't figured it out, the friend is Rei. XD)

"So your not a hybrid?" Drew asked. "Nope." Dawn clarified, "Now can you guys leave? Because I don't really feel comfortable around other Hybrids beside my friend." "Okay." Ash chirped ready to leave. The others however still didn't look pleased. "You expect me to believe your story?" Paul said. Dawn slowly shrugged. "And how did you know that we were Hybrids?" Gary asked.

"Well one, your uniforms belong to the famous Hybrid Academy. And second, I saw your maroon friend trying to break the barrier." Dawn concluded. "Still, what makes you think we should trust you and your story?" Paul asked.

"Easy. She's not telling the truth." A voice said in the back.

The boys looked behind them and immediately bowed. Dawn's eyes widened. She felt a cold sweat run down her neck.

'Girls... We might have a problem...' Dawn thought.
