Freshman Year (part 17)

"Hey Dawn! How's life today?" May asked once Dawn took a seat next to her. For once, her blunette friend did look a bit healthier, both mentally and physically.

"I feel...happy, actually. I wasn't harassed by Ursula for once." Dawn admitted, grinning at her friend. May grinned back and hugged her.

"Thank Arceus, those bitches need to chill. I hate them so much!" May grumbled and almost started a rant until the teacher began talking, ranting about another Algebra lesson for the day.

"Ugh, this is so BORING..." Ash moaned and let his head fall and smack the desk, having the class crack up as their old teacher was busy mumbling while writing on the whiteboard. Gary snickered and his his face with his hands to keep himself from laughing out loud, just to be safe.

Ash pulled out his phone and started playing games, not caring at this point in the year if he got a detention. He had a slim chance of actually getting in trouble since his teacher didn't really mind.

*with Paul*

"Paul, why are you late AGAIN?" Mr. Smith asked, his tone of voice blatantly agitated and annoyed.

Paul just shrugged his shoulders and walked towards his seat, which he realized it was a new seating chart in the class because some other kid was sitting in his old seat. He went towards the empty seat in the very back and almost cursed out loud to see that Ursula was right next to him. She was wearing a low shirt obviously, leaning over with her head resting in her hand and winked at him.

Arceus that made him want to loose all of his shit at that moment.

Paul sat in his seat and turned his chair away as much as he could, completely ignoring the hoe next to him. He felt her tap his shoulder, but ignored that too.

"Hey Paulie, don't you think you can do so much more by your locker with someone like me instead of that freak?" Ursula whispered directly in his ear, making him scoot away even further, glare at her and flip her off.

"She doesn't want you like I do Paulie. You see her everyday, is she forcing you too or someth-"

"Fuck. Off. You. Ugly. Hoe. You fucking harass her, you're nothing compared to what she is so fuck with someone else." Paul hissed, not even wasting his energy to look at the girl that had at least three layers of makeup caked onto her face. She looked photoshopped, this girl can't even DO makeup right. It's that bad.

Paul started thinking about Dawn and suddenly drowned out the things Ursula kept saying and Mr. Smith giving another lecture about whatever was being taught from the textbook.

'What would she look like with makeup? I've never seen her do anything...special I guess. She doesn't need it. When's the last time she had her hair down? She hasn't been wearing that beanie, so that's good, but still...the last time I saw her hair down was like, September. Why does she wear her hair up or back everyday? Today her hair was in a..French braid? Think that's what Troublesome told me what that hairstyle was. I'm sure she's more gorgeous- wait, what?! What the hell are you thinking, she's your friend! You're in fucking class, stop thinking!'

"...Paul! You're my partner, we can work on our homework together! Omg have you even been listening to me?!? Wow, I can't believe you missed the whole part when yesterday I got her cell number and started texting her!"

Paul snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Ursula say that.

What did this bitch do?!

Paul stood up, forcefully kicked his chair facing her and sat back down again, facing her with the most furious death glare he could possibly gi even. He stared straight into Ursula's eyes, making her shift a little from discomfort.

"You better fucking tell me what the hell you said to her or else Arceus knows I'll fuck your whole life up. Give me your damn. Cheap ass. White girl. Phone." Paul viciously and angrily hissed, making even Ursula frozen from being scared to death. She shakily grabbed her iPhone out and typed in her dumb lock, then right before she could do anything else Paul yanked it from her hands and pushed her chair away with one of his feet and looked at her background, which was a selfie of mainly her and him flipping her off.

Wow.

He took a close-up pick of Mr. Smith, who was staring at his computer screen, and put that as her background instead. Then he deleted all the pics that had him in it, which he didn't even know she took. What a fucking stalker.

Paul went to her messages and looked through the recent people. #1 Ugly Barbie Brianna, Fav Blueberry Miette, #1 Bitch Giselle, #1 Hoe Hilda, wtf is with these dumb names? By the way, Miette was NOT a pretty blueberry, his Troublesome was his favorite blueberry.

He clicked on the messages with the name of "Fucking Ugly Bitch" and started reading through it.

"Hey fuck hoe."

"Might as well delete this number cause you've got the wrong one."

"Bitch I know I have the right one. Stay away from everyone at school or else."

"You can't just tell me what to do."

"I'm telling you bitch, stay the fuck away. Stop fucking flirting with my Paulie."

"Wtf, I'm not doing anything wrong."

"Bitch, ur gonna be dead after this week, I'm gonna fuck up your whole life."

"Why aren't you responding?! You SCARED?"

"Ur just a poor white skimpy girl who's just using a popular guy to your advantage. Ur worthless. Ur stupid. Nobody likes you, ur friends PRETEND to like you. I bet you pay money to be friends with Paul because what guy would want YOU?!?"

"I'm gonna kill your mother. She doesn't deserve to live for giving birth to an ugly bitch like you. Don't be surprised when you go home this week to see blood."

"Im gonna hurt you."

"Next time I see you off of school hours ur DEAD, got it?!"

"You'll regret not committing suicide earlier bitch."

"Try me"

"Ur so gonna regret talking back. There's nothing more I hate than u."

Paul stopped reading and angrily gripped the phone in his hand, wanting to smash it to pieces. He didn't because he really doesn't want to deal with her yelling about how he'd need to buy her a new phone.

Paul instead deleted the conversation and her number off of Ursula's phone, then chucked it back at her right as the bell rang to signal class was over.

"Fuck you." Paul spat as he shove past Ursula, who didn't say another word to him after that. All she did was gap at him in shock, horrified that he'd side with Dawn instead of herself.

The next two classes went by slow, but everyone managed to get through it as the bell rang for 2nd lunch. Ash and May raced to the cafeteria, literally sprinting and shoving to get to the line first because it was pizza day.

"Man, can they ever Chillax? Haha get it? LAX." Gary joked while Misty rolled her eyes, not impressed one bit by his lame joke.

"Yeah, we all get it. Lax is short for lacrosse so shut up."

"Hey Paul, what spring sport are you gonna do this year? You're good at running, so track would be a good option." Drew asked as he wondered what sport he'd do this year.

Paul shrugged his shoulders as he scooted over to make room for Dawn to sit by him "Not sure, I'm mostly deciding on baseball or lacrosse."

"Baseball's not even a real sport!" Ash exclaimed, making a wtf face at everyone as he sat down by Serena, who was sitting next to Dawn. May sat down between Drew and Misty, while Gary sat on the other side of Misty.

"You know what's not a real sport? Swimming! Duh!" Gary shouted, forgetting that the redhead was sitting right next to him.

Misty instantly turned around and slapped Gary in the face, leaving a big red spot on his left cheek. Gary held his cheek in his hand, mouthing the words "ow" over and over again.

"Say that again and I'll knock you out." Misty demanded as Gary shook his head, not wanting to experience more pain than what he already got.

"Hey Ash, what do you think of the pizza today? It's pretty yummy to me!" May asked as she took another ginormous bite, making Drew cringe and facepalm. Ash agreed with a full mouth, continuing to eat another four slices of pizza before feeling satisfied.

"Oh hey guys! What's UP!" Everyone turned to see Shauna smile and wave as she walked by with some of the soccer players that were going to try out in the spring. Dawn smiled at her as she walked past, then rested her head in the palm of her hands.

"Shauna is so pretty, honestly! I love that girl so much, I'm surprised she isn't dating anyone." May said after she finally swallowed, at least trying to have manners.

"Yeah, didn't she go to homecoming with Barry though? Wonder if it was just as friends." Serena asked, the other girls wondering the same thing.

Misty took a swig of water and began her voice of opinion "Well, she and Barry were super close, I don't think anything bad has happened between them."

"Hey, I heard that Leaf rejected Red after homecoming, but he's fine now. They both kinda realized that their relationship was fine just as friends." May said, then finishing the last bite of their food.

"C'mon! Everyone knows that someday Red and Yellow are gonna date! Yellow's really liked him for so long, I don't think Red's realized his feelings for her because their always together now. He really needs to make a move!" Gary shouted, having a couple of the tables turn around to see what was happening. A few girls giggled, so Gary winked at them.

"Cut it out!" Misty gritted, yanking him down by his shirt.

"Oh, is someone jealous? I knew you were always into me." Gary said, then started putting his arm around Misty, until she rammed her elbow into his torso.

The bell rang, signaling that lunch was over.

"YES!!! BAND!!!" Ash shouted, then grabbed Serena's hand and started running towards the class, with Serena barely keeping up.

"Ash! Slow down!!!" Serena's voice echoed in the hallways, making the group snicker.

"Well, the best class is up next, so I can't blame him. Let's go!" Gary declared as he made his way down the hallway, flashing grins at a bunch of freshman girls who were cooing over him.

"That's disgusting! Why would he do that?!" Misty complained as she stomped her way with the rest of the group to band.

Dawn snickered a little bit "Maybe cause you're jealous?" Misty got all flustered at the thought and gave Dawn one of her jokingly "mean looks", then stomped ahead.

"Wow, she actually talked for once." Drew joked, while May punched him in the arm for his comment. "That's stupid, Drew! She's much better than hanging around with YOU." Drew gaped, along with Paul snickering under his breath. "Shut the fuck up Paul."

Dawn felt a poke on her left side, seeing that Barry was grinning at her. "Hey Barry! What's up?"

Barry shrugged his shoulders "Nothin' much. Hey, are you sure you don't want, you know, others to-?" Paul glared at the cheeseballhead, trying to figure out what exactly he was talking about.

'What the Hell does he mean by that?' Paul irritatingly thought in his mind, waiting for Dawn to respond.

Dawn shook her head slightly "I'm sure, thank you Barry for your concern." Barry gave her a thumbs-up "No problem! Just wanted to be sure cause you're my best friend!" After that, Barry quickly ran off to class, leaving the group.

"Guess they've got some secret code or something." Drew muttered, while May didn't seem to mind one bit. It wasn't her business, and she didn't want to interfere with whatever what was going on.

Paul glared at Barry until he was out of sight, then looked down at Dawn "What was THAT about?" Dawn looked up and gave off a nervous giggle "It's nothing, no need to worry!" He stared at her for a few seconds, then glared face-forward, making some of the freshman in the hallway gulp and quickly move out of his way.

"Hey PAAAUUULL!" Ursula squealed, winking and waving his way as a cute attempt to get his attention. Well, for Paul, he thought it was totally psycho and creepy. "Fuck off." Ursula froze, then anime-fell on the ground, stoned.

Miette tried to shake her from her best friends' rejection again "Urzy! Wake up! C'mon, he'll realize how much he's missing someday! GET UP!!!" Beianna sighed and sweatdropped at the scene in front of her.

Drew and May entered the room first, with Paul following behind. He held the door open with his foot for the Troublesome gulf behind him, trying to look as casual as possible.

"Thanks!" Dawn flashed a huge smile at Paul, who was completely and utterly surprised from her sudden burst of loudness. "Don't be so troublesome in class." He smirked, having Dawn try to punch him in his chest and stick out her tongue, then quickly sitting next to Misty.

"I'm not Troublesome." Dawn grumbled under her breath, having Misty crack up from hearing her. "Hopefully you won't be during class." Misty joked, with Dawn rolling her eyes.

"Yeah right, there's no need to worry." Dawn and Misty talked while ignoring Gary pouring for attention until the bell rang, signaling that the last class f the day was starting.
