Amy's POV
"Is everything ready for the experiment Amelia?" My boss, Cameron Miranda, asked.

I'm Amelia Angela Addison, but most people call me Amy. I'm a new scientist working for Team Fusion. Our goal is to make pokemon stronger by altering their genetic codes and combing them with other pokemon genes. Right now we are in our secret lab hidden high up in Mount Everpeak.

"All set sir." I said, some of my long brunette hair falling over my face.

"Good. Bring in the Pikachu!" Cameron ordered.

One of the other scientists entered the room carrying an Pikachu and placed it on a testing table.

"Pika pi?" The mouse looking pokemon said, looking confused as it looked around the room.

"The Eevee dna sample." He said, looking at me.

I nodded and went to one of the cabinets filled with pokemon dna samples. I grabbed the bottle containing some brown liquid which is labeled, "Eevee".

At the corner of my eye I saw the Pikachu's expression change from confusion to absolute fear. I looked at the bottle at hand and started having second thoughts.

"Amelia! Hurry up!" Cameron ordered.

"Oh umm. C-coming s-sir!" I shuttered, shakily walking over to him.

As I was about to hand him the sample, one of my coworkers accidentally bumped into me and spilled the sample on me.

I screamed in pain as the dna sample started to spread on my skin as it passed through my lab coat and then the pain just stopped.

"You imbecile!" Cameron screamed at the coworker.

"I-I am very so-sorry sir!" He said, apologizing.

"Just get another dna sample!" He demanded.

I obeyed and got another sample. I went to one of the tables filled with tools and got a needle and extracted the sample to be injected into the Pikachu.

'Please don't do it.'

"Huh?" I looked around as I heard a female voice but saw no one talking.

'Please miss. I'm begging you.'

I looked around and saw Pikachu looking at me, almost pleading me.

'P-Pi-Pikachu...?' I thought to myself.

That's impossible. It- It couldn't be...

'Yes. It's me mam.'

The Pikachu was looking straight at me.

'H-how can I understand it...?'

"Amelia!" Cameron shouted in range.

"C-co-coming si-sir!" I said running back to Cameron's side.

I handed Cameron the needle as he smirked devilishly. "Excellent."

I took one last look at Pikachu as it gave me that same pleading look, begging for me to help it. I sadly smiled.

'I'm very sorry...' I thought, looking away from Pikachu.

Cameron then injected the Eevee dna sample into the Pikachu as it cried out in pain. The Pikachu then started to glow a bright white light, practically blinding all of us as we all looked away as it started to transform.

As the light faded away I looked back and gasped as my hazel brown eyes widened. I looked at what has become of Pikachu.

Pikachu has practically transformed into an Eevee, with a few alterations. Instead of Eevee's usual fluffy tail, it was now a Pikachu tail, it had Pikachu's eyes and red cheek. Her fur was now yellow and the fur around it's neck was black, the ends of it's paws was color brown, the tips of it's Eevee ears were color black and it had Pikachu's brown stripes on it's back.

Upon seeing this, Cameron smug grin appeared in triumph.

"We did it." He said. "We shall call it... Eevechu."

Eevechu opened it's eyes and looked down at herself and gasped.

'W-what happened t-to me?!' Eevechu said in horror. But her eyes started to drop until it fainted.

"Eevechu!" I said, as I pick her up.

Her breaths were unsteady and she looked to be in a lot of pain as her cheeks emitted tiny electrical sparks. 'What have I done?!' I thought to myself.

"Excellent, perfect, brilliant!" Cameron exclaimed, clapping.

"Perfect?! How could you say that?! Look at her!" I said lifting Eevechu as I glared at him. "She's in a lot of pain now and this is all your fault!"

He just chuckled.

He walked to a rope that hung from the roof and pulled on the rope. Then the wall started to open revealing lots and lots of pokemon that appeared to have had their genetics alternated already, in cages. I gazed upon each pokemon in horror as I heard all their voices and cries for help.

'Someone help!'

'I wanna go back to normal!'

'What happened to me?!'

'Where am I?!'

'I wanna go home!'

"You see Amelia." Cameron started. "I genetically mutate pokemon so that I may use them to one day rule the world." He said calmly.

"Oh yes. I completely forgot you're new." He said chuckling.

I started in horror at all the pokemon and back at Eevehu, as her breaths continued to stay unstable.

"No... This- this is wrong! And I won't allow it!" I said, holding Eevechu more protectively.

He chuckled again, only this one sounded more dark and evil as he slowly approached me.

"And what are you gonna do to stop me?" He said grinning as he continued to walk closer to me.

I slowly started to back up, my legs shaking in fear. But as I hit the wall, I pressed a button. Then red lights started to flash and a beeping noise started to beep over and over. I turned around and saw I had pressed the self-destruct button. The pokemon's cages all opened, releasing all the fusion pokemon.

"Self-destruction in 3 minutes!" A robotic voice echoed through the speakers.

Cameron stared in disbelief as he watched all the fusion pokemon run to the exit.

"No..." He muttered. "NO!" He screamed in range.

He then glared at me.

"You will pay!" He said, running to me.

My eyes widened as I started to run to the exit.

"Hurry everyone!" I shouted to the pokemon.

All of them nodded as I lead them to the exit. We all ran as fast as we could, Cameron right behind all of us. As we reached the exit, I quickly encoded the password as the doors automatically opened and the pokemon started to run out.

"Hurry now!" I said as the last of the pokemon ran out.

I was about to follow until I tripped, dropping Eevechu in the process. I looked up and saw Cameron's evil smirk as he looked down at me. And in the corner of my eye I saw Eevechu waking up.

"Eevechu! Run!" I screamed.

Eevechu then looked at me as it's eyes widened.

'What about you?!' I heard it's voice ask in panic.

"I'll be fine. Just save yourself!" I said, weakly smiling.

"You will pay Amelia." Cameron said.

'I'm ready to accept my fate.' I thought to myself.

Then Eevechu jumped in front of me, it's eyes filled with anger and it's red cheeks sparking up.

"Eevechu! What are you doing?! Run!" I said.

'And leave you alone with this jerk? Fat chance!' She said looking at me, smiling confidently.

"1 minute till self-destruction!" The voice said through the speakers again.

"Eevechu!" Eevechu screamed as she shot what looks to be a Thunderbolt attack at Cameron as he fell to the ground.

'Okay come on!'

I stood up and mustered all the strength I had left and ran out with Eevechu. After running in the forest for a few more seconds we heard a loud explosion. But we continued to run. After a few extra seconds we stopped to rest.

We both fell to the ground, sitting, both of us patting like crazy.

"We... W-we made i-it..." I said, catching my breath.

'Ya w-we... S-sur-survived...' Eevechu said.

Then we heard a twig crack.

"Who's there?! Show yourself!" I demanded.

Then the fusion pokemons from earlier all showed themselves. I looked at all of them. Pokemon who's dna a have been tampered with and now have transformed.

'You save us. Thank you.' One of the fusion pokemon said.

It looked like a Bulbasaur but its color was white with it's patterned spots being purple, instead of it's usual green bud on it's back, it was now a bright glowing and hot purple fire, and it's eyes were yellow instead of red.

I looked at all of them.

"I'm so sorry for what happened to all of you..." I said standing up and started walking.

'Wait! Where are you going...?' Eevechu asked.

I turned around and smiled at all of them.

"I'm going away. To make sure no harm to all of you again. If Cameron is still alive, he will surly come after me. Goodbye everyone. I'm glad I could help." I said as a single tear fell from my eye as I started to run.

'Wait!'

But I was gone.
