"Are you awake sweetie" her mother asked her.

"Yup...*yawns*"the half-asleep teenager replied while she slowly sat on her chair and waits for breakfast.

"Here..." her mother placed a plate in her table. It was an omelet. "...you need to be ready first before you start your journey."

"Thanks mom!" Diantha said as she begand to eat her breakfast. "It tastes good!".

"Well I made it special for you today after all... " her mother went near her and suddenly shouted "Happy 13th birthday!" as she hugged her daugher tightly and let go after a few minute. "So have you chosen which pokemon to start with?"

"Not really, but I will! Once I get there" 

Diantha finished her breakfast as she prepared her bag. Of course she took a bath and cleaned herself. She prepared some foods and other things she would be needed in her journey.

"Im going mom!" she shouted before leaving.

"Becareful sweetie!"her mother replied.

"I will!"

Diantha quickly ran off to Prof. Oak's Lab. She carefully knocked on the door as she slowly opened it.

"Good morning prof!" she greeted.

"Oh good morning to Diantha and Happy 13th Birthday!"prof. greeted her as he slowly opened a box that revealed pokeball inside. "So have chosen your first starter?"

"I did and I choose Charmander!"

She opened the pokeball but its empty.Then she tried squirtle but its empty too. Then she lastly opened bulbasaur but they were all empty. Professor said that he forgotten to tell that three young kids already choosed them.

"Awww... I really thought I can already start my journey" She frowned. Professor Oak quickly turns around as he looked at the pokeball that was placed onto his desk.

"How about this" Professor handed a pokeball to her. "A strange man left this at my lab. I don't know why they did it but they left a note saying 'Im releasing this pokemon from my grasp and now giving it to you'"

Diantha opened the pokeball and came out, an Eevee! Eevee looked around at its surrounding as it began to run and call to Diantha. "Eevee!" it exclaimed with a smile on its face.

"Can I have this Eevee professor?"Diantha requested Prof. Oak.

The old man nodded in approval as began to hand out Diantha her primary items. "Here's a pokedex and a few pokeball for you to use."

"Thank you professor " she thanked the professor as she quickly went to the door and waved  as she finally left the lab.

Diantha called her mother in her excitement not being able to contain his enjoyment.

[Is that you sweetie?]

"Yep its me!"

[Oh so how did it go? Which pokemon did you choose?]

"I choose Eevee. There were already kids that choose the starters so professor gave me an Eevee"

[Glad to know you're finally fulfilling your dream, just be careful sweetie okay?.]

"Yes, mom!"

She hanged up as she smiled at the sky and started her journey.
