Bio: Douglas, formerly known as Doug, jumped from the second gym leader to elite four member after inheriting his position from his dead, billionaire father, Austin. Austin was a horrible father, he constantly ignored Doug as a child in favor of his spendings, which resulted in Doug becoming homeless in poor within the time of Blessed and Fallens events. Despite this, Doug still really liked Austin deep down, despite how cold and distant he and Austin were to each other. Once Austin had a heart attack and died, Doug became severely depressed, despite becoming the strongest elite four member. His depression became so heavy, he almost joined a distant evil team out of rage and sadness about Austin and his childhood. It wasn't until the champions of Fulcre convinced him not to because they know Doug would never do something as horrible as join an evil team and betray a region which so heavily respects him as a gym leader. Nowadays Doug is regarded as one of the pokemons worlds strongest poison trainers, and Doug regularly see's a psychiatrist and talks to his friends, such as Clover, thus improving his emotional health slowly, but surely. He's also unaware about his mother's existence.
