JAMES' P.O.V.

As I sit at my desk in my apartment, closely examining the photos, and documents contained in this folder, I hear my TV in the other room.

What catches my attention is what a news reporter is saying.

"Breaking news! Authorities have discovered the wreckage of a car after being notified about an explosion near the outskirts of Ryme City. Officials have confirmed that the car belongs to Mr. Harry Goodman, a well known detective.", the news lady says.

After she mentions Harry, I tune everything else out.

'Harry's dead?! Could it have something to do with that secret compound? It'd make sense if he found out something huge. Which means...', I think.

"That Harry was murdered. He found out something he wasn't supposed to, and had to be taken out before he could tell anyone.", I whisper to myself.

Hope notices the tension coming off of my body.

She wraps her ribbons around my legs, and she uses her powers to help calm me down.

"Thanks Hope.", I say while ruffling the fur on her head.

"Sylveon!", she says while smiling.
