Three Weeks Later...

JAMES' P.O.V.

Things have gone back to normal in Ryme City.

Howard Clifford has been arrested, Tim has started a new job as a detective, Lucy has become a successful news reporter, Harry has begun to repair his broken relationship with Tim, Mew explores most of Ryme City by day, and comes home by night, and Hope and I have grown much closer together.

I sit at my office, on my fifteen minute break, my feet propped up on my desk, reading a book that I bought recently, while I pet Hope as she lays in my lap, purring.

Someone knocks on my door, and I put my book down to see who it is.

It's Tim.

"Hey Tim! How're you doing?", I ask him while putting my feet down.

Tim smiles.

"Oh, you know. It's the usual father-son bonding after a huge life changing event.", Tim says.

I chuckle.

"Nothing like a close encounter with death to make a person enjoy life a little more.", I joke.

I see that Tim is holding a folder.

"What's that for?", I ask, motioning to the folder in his left hand.

Tim gets serious, and walks over to my desk.

He takes a seat, and puts the folder on my desk, sliding it over to me.

"We've gotten a few reports lately of suspicious activity happening near the building where we fought Charizard.

I close my eyes, remembering that night, then I open my eyes again.

"Alright. What's there to go on?", I ask him.

"From what the reports say, and from what Lucy was able to gather, there's a female Pokemon Trainer with a Luxray, and she's going around while causing a lot of trouble.", Tim says.

I nod my head while Tim explains the case to me.

"Well, I guess our break's been cut short Hope.", I say while I gently shake her.

Hope sighs.

"At least we had somewhat of a break.", Hope says.

I chuckle.

"I couldn't agree more.", I say with a smile.

Tim looks at me in a weird way.

"I'm guessing you're still not used to me being able to understand Pokemon, right?", I say while smirking.

Tim rubs his head, feeling a little awkward.

"Yeah. Sorry about that.", Tim says.

I smile.

"It's alright Tim. I'm actually still trying to getting used to it myself.", I say.

Tim nods.

"You ready?", he asks me.

"Always.", I say.

We both get up out of our chairs, and head outside.

We get into my car, Hope hopping into the backseat.

I start up my car.

"You said that the reports all say the activity is happening near the harbor where we fought Charizard, correct?", I ask, making sure to confirm the location.

"From what the reports say, yes.", Tim answers.

I nod.

"Alright.", I say.

I put my car into drive, and we head towards the harbor.
