JAMES' P.O.V.

I open my eyes, a little confused on why I'm not dead, and then I gasp once I realize what's happening.

Rayquaza, a Pokemon I became friends with a year before I moved to Ryme City, has just saved me from falling to my death.

"R- Rayquaza?!", I stutter.

"Hello James. It's nice to see you again.", Rayquaza says.

"It's nice to see you again too.", I say with a smile.

Rayquaza's eyes widen in shock.

"Y- you can understand me?!", Rayquaza says in surprise.

"I told you he could understand us now.", Mew says while crossing her arms.

Rayquaza snorts.

She never did like being corrected.

"So what's the deal with that Pokemon? Why'd he throw you out of the building?", Rayquaza asks.

"Long story short, that's Howard Clifford. He's somehow managed to possess Mewtwo's body. We've gotta figure out a way to severe their link.", I say.

Rayquaza smiles, ready to fight.

"So what do you need me to do?", Rayquaza asks.

"I need you and Mew to distract Howard while I go for Howard's actual body. He has a device on his forehead. I think that if I take it off of him, the link should be cut, thus forcing Howard back into his own body.", I say.

Mew and Rayquaza look at each other, and nod.

"Let's do it!", Rayquaza growls.

"We will buy you some time Master James!", Mew says.

"Good, thank you.", I say.

Rayquaza flies back towards the skyscraper, and I jump through the broken window I was thrown out of.

I manage to land on my feet without falling.

I see Tim and Pikachu fighting that lady from before.

'Wait a minute... that's not a lady! That's a Ditto!', I think.

Tim notices me standing here.

"James?!", he says in disbelief.

Pikachu turns his head towards me.

"Kid, are you alright?!", Pikachu says with obvious worry in his voice.

"I'm fine, where's Howard's body?", I ask.

Tim points over to his left, and then immediately gets slapped in the face by the Ditto.

Pikachu rams into the Ditto, causing it to flinch.

Tim takes his advantage, and starts punching and kicking the Ditto.

I see Pikachu actually biting the Ditto.

'That's gotta hurt.', I think for a moment.

I rush over to Howard's body.

Just as I'm about to reach his body, Rayquaza slams into the building, destroying everything around us.

I get underneath a table to avoid all of the falling debris.

The Ditto gets crushed by a large piece of the roof.

I look over at Tim and Pikachu.

They're also hiding underneath a table.

Pikachu is holding on to Tim tightly, and I even think Pikachu is screaming in a high pitched voice.

Then I realize something, and my heart skips a beat.

'Where's Hope?!', I think.

I quickly scan the now destroyed room, but I can't find her anywhere.

I get out from under the table.

"Hope?! HOPE!!!", I yell.

Tim and Pikachu get up as well.

I run over to them, now more concerned about Hope than Howard.

"Do you know where Hope is?!", I say, panicking.

"No, we don't. Right after Howard threw you out of the building, Hope ran out of the room. I have no idea where she is now.", Tim says.

'Oh God! Please don't be dead! Please don't be dead!', I think.

"Master James! We can't hold Howard back much longer! Please hurry!", Mew says.

I look around for Howard's body, temporarily blocking Hope from my thoughts.

I spot Howard's body.

"Over there! Let's go!", I say, pointing at Howard's body.

We quickly run to Howard's body as, now only Rayquaza, fights Howard.

I lean Howard's body against his flipped over desk.

I grab the device on his forehead when suddenly, Tim, Pikachu, and I start choking.

Howard has finally returned.

He raises us into the air as he continues to choke us.

I kick my feet out while I grab at my throat.

'I don't wanna die!', I think.

My vision begins to get fuzzy.

But suddenly, I see a pink blur run at Howard, and tackle him to the ground, breaking his concentration on us.

We fall to the floor, coughing, and gasping.

I look up, and see...

"Hope?!", I say while coughing.

The Pokemon turns towards me.

She smiles at me.

"Go stop this son of a bitch.", she says.

I nod, stumble to my feet, and run towards Howard's body.

I don't hesitate, I rip the device off of Howard's forehead, and break it in half.

"NOOOOOO!!!", Howard yells.

Suddenly, Howard's body moves again.

He looks up at me.

I grab him by the shirt, and give him one hard punch across his face.

"You piece of shit.", I say.

I let go of him, and walk back to Tim, Pikachu, and Hope.

I crouch down to Hope.

I look her in her eyes, and I smile.

I hug her tightly, and she tightly wraps her ribbons around my arms.

I start crying, so relieved that it's over, and that she's alive.

Mew flies over to us, and she joins our hug.

"You did good Mew, you did good.", I say, sniffling.

"Thank you Master James.", Mew says, smiling.

Rayquaza appears, causing Tim and Pikachu to step back a little bit.

"Are you okay James?", Rayquaza asks me.

"I'm okay. Are you okay?", I ask.

She nods.

"If you ever want to visit me, I'll be in the forest on the outskirts of Ryme City.", Rayquaza says.

She then flies away.

I finally let go of Hope and Mew, then stand back up.

Mewtwo groans as he gets up.

I walk over to Mewtwo.

"Are you okay Mewtwo?", I ask him.

He looks at me.

"Thank you for saving me from that awful nightmare.", Mewtwo says.

I nod.

Some police officers run in, and Mewtwo flies away.

The police officers escort all of of us out of the building.
