One Hour Later...

JAMES' P.O.V.

Harry, Tim, Hope, Lily, and I enter the same interigation room where I interrogated Sam yesterday.

Harry sits the man down, and handcuffs him to the chair.

I sit down in a chair on the opposite side of the table.

"I'm only gonna give you one chance to tell me who sent you to kill me.", I say.

The man stares into my emerald green eyes.

He realizes that I'm not bluffing.

"I can't.", the man says.

"Why not?", I ask him.

"If he finds out I ratted him out, he'll send others out to kill me.", the man says.

"Look, if you tell us who sent you, I swear on my life that I'll do everything I can to keep you safe.", I say.

The man's eyes have a pleading look in them.

"Even though I tried to kill you?", he says, a little skeptical.

"Yes.", I say.

He sighs.

"Sebastian. His name's Sebastian.", the man says.

My eyes widen.

I know who Sebastian is, because I've already met him in person.

The memory of that man and his Charizard hits me.

"Do we have a deal?", the man asks while reaching his hand out towards me.

I shake his hand.

"Deal.", I say.

I didn't know what his name was at the time, but once I reported him to the authorities, I learned his name.

His illegal Pokemon battling operation was shutdown, but Sebastian and his Charizard were able to escape.

'It makes sense. Why he'd send someone out to try and kill me. He has a personal grudge against me. And I can use that to my advantage if I'm careful.', I think.

"Alright. He's the deal.", I say to the man.

He looks at me, waiting to hear what I have to say.

"I'll drop my charges against you-", but he cuts me off.

"Really?!", he says in shock, surprise, and relief.

"Let me finish.", I say.

He nods.

"I'll drop my charges, AND, I'll keep you safe from Sebastian.", I say.

I hold out my right hand towards him.

"Alright?", I say.

He shakes my hand.

"Alright.", he says.

I turn towards Harry and Tim.

"Get him somewhere safe, and make sure to keep a close eye on him in case he tries to run away, or in case he tries to do anything suspicious.", I say to them.

Both Harry and Tim nod.

I get up out of the chair, and head towards the door.

My left hand just reaches the doorknob, when the man speaks up again.

"My name's Ricardo.", he says.

I turn my head towards him.

"Hi Ricardo, I'm Detective James Johnson, although I'm sure you already knew that.", I say.

I open the door, and walk out, with Hope and Lily close behind me.
