Previously in Pokemon Chaos and Order…

Ash and Serena were able to defeat Mewtwo and save the world. After that, each of our heroes stated where they want to go and Ash decided to invite Serena to come to Kanto with him.

However, after all that happened, Grace became a bit overprotective over her daughter and forbade her from leaving her sight. After saying goodbye, Ash surprised everyone by kissing Serena.

One week later...

"I must tell you that it is nothing less than a MIRACLE that there were zero casualties on arguably one of the biggest disasters the world has ever seen..." a woman, presumably a reporter, is speaking on a Television set.

"These never before seen statistics wouldn't have been possible to achieve if it wasn't for the actions of what we call heroes..." the woman kept going. "From teenagers to professors, these heroes risked their own lives and the lives of their Pokemon to keep the world safe..."

"Oh c'mon, aunt Alexa..." Ash spoke from the couch, watching the TV the woman, named Alexa, is speaking through. "It really was nothing..." "I don't think we can classify what you did as nothing!" Ash's mother, Delia, suddenly showed up with a Ketchup bottle.

Pikachu's eyes lit up with sparkles as it hopped over and grabbed the bottle. Pikachu then opened the bottle and started to drink the Ketchup. Ash and Delia chuckled.

"Oh yeah!" Delia said, remembering something. "Red and Leaf sent you a Postcard..." she said while handing Ash something. "They say that they're having a ton of fun in Alola..." Delia continued. "Oh! And Red FINALLY asked Leaf out!"

Ash chuckled. 'About time bro...' he thought to himself before opening the Postcard. All it was was what his mother just told him and a picture of the two having fun.

Ash smiled before frowning for a second. "I'm going to put it somewhere safe..." he said with a hint of sadness in his voice. Ash started to walk up the stairs and into his room.

Ash placed the Postcard on a special container, to make sure nothing bad will happen to it. The container was one of many, holding not only souvenirs he acquired throughout his Journeys, but also the gifts his friends have sent him from all over the world.

Ash looked over to a letter from Nate. 'Nate might not know it, but he has a lot of potential...' he thought to himself. 'It's only been a week, and he already has a new Team of 6 AND his first Badge! He says he met some douche of a Trainer called Paul, who is now his rival. Kevin and Barry are also acting as rivals, and Ellie was finally getting the treatment she deserves for her disorder. Her, Dawn and Lillie are now trying Contests...'

Ash then walked over to a weird badge that Star, Marco and the others who stayed in Unova sent him.

"I have no clue about what this weird Badge is..." Ash murmured. "But it's a gift from my friends. How rude will it be to not accept it?" He then continued to walk along the shelf all the trophies were being kept (including his winning trophy of the Unova League).

Ash then spotted a small backpack. This was a gift from Clemont, Bonnie, Korrina, Alain, Aria, Mairin, May, Max and Drew. It might appear to be too small to hold anything of value, but it can transform into a protective suit of armor.

On the side of the backpack was etched "Clemontic Gear On!" and right under that (in crayon) was written "If this one blows up call Bonnie and Max Relationship and Invention Repairs Inc." Ash chuckled.

'I've only met Clemont once...' Ash thought. 'But I have a feeling that we could've been great friends...' he continued to walk along the shelf. He saw a letter from Sawyer, telling him that he can't wait to battle Ash again.

He kept walking and saw a professional photo-shoot from Trevor and the rest of the gang in Johto, showing an image of Suicune, one of the three Legendary Beasts from Ho-Oh's legend.

Ash chuckled before his face turned to sad again. He reached down to one of the pockets on his jacket and pulled out a white handkerchief with a blue stripe on the edge of it.

'I miss you Serena...' Ash thought while looking at the handkerchief. A tear fell down Ash's face as he remembered all the time he spent with Serena. The good and the bad times. 'With Serena... every moment felt like a dream...' he thought.

Ash then heard his door open and Pikachu came walking in. It hopped on Ash's shoulder and gave him a sad look. Ash looked back at his life-long partner and gave it a sad smile.

"I'm fine Pikachu..." Ash said. "It's just... I miss her so much..." he continued, holding the handkerchief close to his heart. Pikachu licked Ash's cheek, but it did little to help him cheer up.

Knock knock knock...

Despite being on the second floor, Ash heard the front door knocking. "Ash..." he heard his mother call out to him, a bit of surprise in her voice. "It's for you!" She continued. "Just a second mom!" Ash replied. He quickly placed the handkerchief back in his pocket and walked out of his room.

He slowly but surely walked down the stairs and entered the Living Room. He noticed his mother had an excited look on her face. "Gee, mom..." Ash said with a slightly annoyed tone. "Why are you so excited? It's probably just Gary here to brag about him, and I quote; 'hooking up (with) a Tomboyish Mermaid'. Whatever that means..."

"Just open the door Ash..." Delia replied, still excited. Ash nodded and walked over to the door. He opened it slowly, trying to avoid Gary's bragging, but when he opened the door he wasn't met by a bragging mahogony-haired boy of his age, but was tackled with a hug.

Ash was shocked, to say the least, and was still confused about what just happened. It was only when the person hugging him broke the hug did he understand what was happening. His eyes widen in shock as he looked at the girl in front of him.

"Serena?!" Ash asked in shock. She blushed and smiled sweetly. "Hey Ash!" She said with a sweet tone. Ash was still unsure if his eyes were playing tricks on him or if this was all a dream, but when Serena took Ash's hands and interlocked her fingers with his, he knew that it was really her and that she was really here.

"Serena... what are you doing here?" He asked, though in reality he couldn't care less about WHY she was there. He was happy and satisfied with her just being there.

Serena smiled. "My mom might be stubborn but she is my mom after all..." she answered. "So I'm just as stubborn as her! I didn't give up until she let me go here... though I wish she hadn't come along for the ride too..."

Ash looked behind her and saw Grace was standing there, waving him hello. Ash waved back before turning his attention back to Serena. "I heard what you said Ash..." she whispered, blushing heavily. Ash blushed too.

"But you never let me answer..." she continued, looking straight into his eyes. "So... what is it...?" Ash asked back, blushing harder than ever. "Isn't it obvious...?" Serena asked in a hushed tone. She then wrapped her arms around his neck and lifted her foot slightly. Ash quickly caught on and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling the two of them even closer together.

"I love you..." Serena whispered, before the two of them started to kiss. This time the kiss wasn't rushed, and so they stayed like this for a while only stopping when they needed to breathe.

After they broke the kiss they just put their foreheads together, their eyes still closed and still blushing heavily. "I love you too..." Ash whispered back to Serena. Pikachu just stood there and smiled, before feeling something wrap around him. When Pikachu turned around he saw Sylveon wrapping her feelers around him and hugging him tightly.

"I don't care how long the road is or how hard it will be..." Ash said. "I'm ready to start a new adventure... with you..." "No matter where the world takes us, no matter what happens..." Serena replied. "I'll be okay, as long as I'm here with you..."

The two smiled and embraced again. One adventure may have ended, but a new one is just beginning. Ash and Serena have come a long way together, and now they'll continue to be together, forever.

A way of new types of challenges. A way of sickness and health, happiness and sorrow, friends and enemies... Chaos and Order...
