Previously in Pokemon Chaos and Order...

Ash had battled his long time Rival, Trip, in the Unova League Finals. After a long Battle, in which he reunited with some old Pokemon from his Journey through Kanto, Ash was finally able to defeat his Rival, and win the Unova League Conference.

Trip, finally losing to Ash, realized that his methods of Training his Pokemon are not the best, and his attempts to get Serena back were also exaggerated.

'We did it...' Ash thought as he was lying in his bed, unable to fall asleep after his victory over Trip. 'But there's still one more challenge for me...' Ash quietly sat up, as to not disturb his Pokemon and his friends. 'I still have to beat the current Unova Champion... what am I gonna do?' He just sat there, thinking.

'This guy, or girl, was able to keep the title of Champion for a whole year...' Ash kept thinking. 'They have to be really tough... so I have to give it my very very best! But if I can't sleep, I won't be able to give it everything! Argh! I need some fresh air...'

Ash got out of bed and walked over to the balcony of the Pokemon Center room him and his friends were spending the night on. Ash closed his eyes, took a deep breath and when he opened them he looked up at the moon.

"You're worried about tomorrow aren't you?" Ash heard a voice coming from behind him. He turned around and saw Serena walking over and standing next to him.

Ash gave a sad smile. "You read me like a book, Serena..." he replied with a chuckle. Serena smiled sweetly and put a hand on his shoulder. "You got this far, Ash..." she said, catching his attention. "You're so close, you can't give up now..."

Ash looked down. "But what if I can't beat the Champion...?" He asks before looking at her square in the eyes. "What if I lose...?" "You are not going to lose!" Serena replied, raising her voice a bit. "You overcame every challenge so far! Suddenly one more battle is too much? I accomplished my dream because of you're determination! Compared to where I started from, this'll be easy for you!"

Ash's eyes lit up by Serena's words. He looked at her with his signature smirk and grabbed Serena's hand, making her blush.

"Don't give up 'till it's over right?" He asked sarcastically. "Y... yeah...!" Serena stuttered. "Go for broke and become the champion! Despite you already being the Champion of my heart..." she whispered that last part. "What was that?" Ash asked, a hit of pink on his cheeks.

Serena blushed. "WHAT?! N... NOTHING!" She spat out. Ash sighed, as if disappointed. "Okay! Now I think we should take a rest..." he said while leading her back to the bedroom, still holding her hand, not that she minded.

The next day...

"GOLURK! USE SHADOW PUNCH!" Commanded the first of the Elite Four members that Ash had to face before battling the Champion. The Ghost-type expert Shauntal. Her Pokemon was a Ghost/Ground Pokemon resembling a Golem from Jewish mythology.

Golurk pulls back one of its arms and purple and black energy appears around it and forms into its arm, causing it to turn black and become outlined in purple. Golurk then brings its fist forward and releases a black fist in the shape of Golurk fist with a purple outline.

"Use Stone Edge as a shield, then use Crunch!" Ash commanded his Lycanroc. Lycanroc stands up on its hind legs and an orange aura surrounds its body. It then slams its front paws onto the ground, causing multiple jagged light blue stones to come out of the ground. Golurk's Shadow Punch hit the stones, destroying them but also getting destroyed, creating a dust cloud.

Lycanroc then charges at Golurk from the dust cloud, it's jaw surrounded by a white aura shaped like a set of teeth. Lycanroc then chomps down on Golurk, lifts it up and throws it to the ground, defeating it.

"Oh me, it appears that I have lost..." said Shauntal as she returned Golurk to its Pokeball. "You may move to the next room..." "Thanks!" Ash said as he returned Lycanroc to its Pokeball and stepped into the next room.

Waiting for him there was the second member of the Elite Four that he had to face. The Fighting-type specialist, Marshal, and his Pokemon, Throh.

"Greetings Challenger!" He exclaimed. "I am Marshal, of the Elite Four! If you wish to battle the Champion, you must beat me!" Throh then rushed over to the Battlefield and got on his Battle Stance. "Okay then..." Ash said as he drew out a Pokeball. "I CHOOSE YOU! TALONFLAME!"

After battling Throh for some time, Ash decided that it is quite the time to finish the Battle. "Use Brave Bird!" He commanded. Talonflame's body becomes surrounded in a light blue aura. It then flies straight at Throh, slamming into them at full force and defeating it.

"Well done..." Marshal said while returning Throh to its Pokeball. "As your battles continue, aim for even greater heights!" "Thanks! I will!" Ash exclaimed as he started to walk towards the next room.

"LIEPARD! USE NIGHT SLASH!" Commanded the third Elite Four member Ash had to face. The Dark-type specialist Grimsley. His Pokemon was a purple leopard-like Pokemon.

Liepard's paws then became surrounded by a black and red aura with a purple outline. Liepard then charged at its opponent, being Ash's Leavanny, leaving purple/red streaks of energy behind its paws.

"Dodge it and use X-Scissor!" Ash commanded. As soon as Liepard was about to slam its paws into Leavanny, it jumped out of the way and started to run on the wall.

The leaves on Leavanny's arms glow light blue. It then puts its claws together in front of it and a light blue 'X' like energy with a magenta and green outline, appears in front of the leaves. It then spreads its leaves apart before crossing them back together as soon as it reached Liepard, slamming into it while its leaves are crossed, defeating it.

"Oh well... I guess luck wasn't on my side on this Battle..." Grimsley said as he returned Liepard to its Pokeball. "You can't argue with a result. You may walk to the next room..." Ash nodded with a bright smile, before walking to the second-to-last room he has to go to.

"Espeon! Finish with Shadow Ball!" Ash commanded. Espeon opens its mouth and creates a purple, black and red shadowy blob near it. It then fires the blob at its opponent, which was a Gothitelle.

The Shadow Ball hit Gothitelle directly, sending it flying backwards and defeating it. "As a Trainer, you are both excellent and elegant..." said Gothitelle's Trainer, Caitlin, as she returned Gothitelle to its Pokeball.

"I am very pleased to have battled you..." "So was I, Caitlin..." Ash thanked the Elite Four member. "Well, you said I was the last Elite Four member you've faced?" She asked Ash. "Yep..." Ash replied. Caitlin smiled. "Then walk through this door to the Champion's Room!" She replied. "Put your skills to the ultimate test!" Ash nodded before walking over to the Champion's room.

Ash then stepped onto the Battlefield, noticing that this stage, unlike all the other Battlefields of the Elite Four, had an audience stand. He then saw Serena and the others sitting in the first row. Ash waved to them.

"So I see you've made it this far..." Ash heard a voice calling out to him from the other side of the Battlefield, which was in shadows. "Do you really think you have what it takes to defeat me?" Ash looked at the mysterious Champion with a confident smirk.

"I, Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, challenge the Champion of the Unova Region to battle for the ultimate goal!" He said while pointing at him. The champion grinned. "Very well then..." he said as he stepped into the light. He was a kid, around a year or two older than Ash, with black hair and eyes. He had a blue scarf and a black jacked over a purple shirt. He has long gray pants and black boots. He also had a bracelet with a Key Stone.

"My name is Alain!" He exclaimed as he drew out a Pokeball. "And I accept your challenge! CHARIZARD LET'S GO!" He exclaimed while throwing his Pokeball forward, releasing his Charizard.

"No way! You have a Charizard too?!" Ash asked, hyped. Alain smirked. "Yes I do..." he said in a smug tone. "I watched you battle, and I was very impressed. But you're not in the same League as a Pokemon who defeated 10 Mega Evolved Pokemon in a row!"

'Whoa! 10 in a row!' Ash thought. He then took a look at the metallic container around Charizard's neck and instantly recognized the blue stone strapped to it.

"Man... it can Mega Evolve too..." Ash murmured. Pikachu's cheeks then lit up with electricity. "Sorry buddy..." Ash gave his partner a sad look. "You're still hurt from the battle against Serperior..." Pikachu pouted, but then felt a sharp pain in his chest, causing him to agree with Ash and take a day off.

Ash then drew out a Pokeball. "We only got one shot at this..." he whispered to the Pokeball, which moved up and down, as if nodding. "GRENINJA! I CHOOSE YOU!" Ash exclaimed as he hurled his Pokeball forward, releasing his Greninja.

"Because of recent changes this battle is going to be a one-on-one..." Alain said. "Winner takes all!" "So we really DO only have one shot..." Ash murmured. He then gave out a confident smirk, remembering what he has at stake if he loses. "Good enough for me!" He replies confidently.

"Very well... so let the Battle begin!" Alain said, acting as the referee for his own Battle, and announcing that Ash's toughest challenge yet, has officially begun.

Ash smirked. "Kay! Let's start this off big time! Water Shuriken!" He commanded. Greninja put its hands in front of the shuriken-shaped part of its legs. A swirl of water then appears in front of each of its hands, forming into orbs and eventually into blue sharp-edged throwing stars. Greninja then hurls the Water Shurikens at Charizard.

"Use Dragon Claw!" Alain commanded. Both of Charizard's claws became surrounded by a light-green energy, causing its claws to grow longer and sharper (while also glowing green). Charizard then slices the incoming Water Shurikens, causing a cloud of steam to appear in front of it.

"Now's our chance!" Ash whisper-yelled. "Use Night Slash!" He commanded. Greninja then spread its arms apart. Greninja's hands then became surrounded by a black and red aura with a purple outline. Greninja then charged at Charizard, leaving purple/red streaks of energy behind its hands.

Alain however, seemed unintimidated. "Thunder Punch..." he said in a confident tone. Charizard's fist is surrounded by yellow sparks, which grow into a ball of electrical energy. Charizard then punches Greninja in the gut, causing it to fly backwards.

"GRENINJA!" Ash cried out. "As you can see, I am not a pushover..." Alain said, still keeping his confident tone. Greninja's hand clutched the ground, not willing to give up and ignoring the pain it felt. "NEITHER ARE WE! LET'S GET STRONGER TOGETHER GRENINJA!" Ash exclaimed as he and Greninja started to synchronize their movements.

Greninja became surrounded by a mystical veil of water, which eventually forms a whirlpool around it. The water vortex surrounding Greninja blew up into a million water droplets. The water droplets then began to move until they formed four swirls of water on Greninja's back. The swirls form an orb and eventually a giant Water Shuriken. Greninja stands up, its appearance altered. Ash and Greninja then open their eyes together, which flashed red.

Alain then touched the Key Stone in his bracelet, which starts to glow. "Respond to my heart! Key Stone, beyond Evolution! MEGA EVOLVE!" He exclaimed. The stone on Charizard's container also shot out rays of light as it began to glow. Charizard's body then glowed green before the rays went over to each other, the rays coming out of Alain's stone combined with the rays coming out of Charizard's stone, causing Charizard's body to glow purple.

When the glow dissipated, Charizard's body was different. Its body was black and blue and it was spewing out blue flames.

'That Mega Charizard looks different then my...' Ash thought. "Peculiar..." Greninja replied telepathically. "It appears that Charizard has two Mega forms..." 'Kay then... let's give it all we've got!' Ash answered.

"Use Blast Burn!" Alain commanded. Mega Charizard's body becomes engulfed in light blue flames. It then punches the ground, sending a wave of energy into the earth which then moves underneath towards Greninja. "Kay! Water Shuriken!" Ash counter-commanded.

Ash and Greninja then reach for their backs and Greninja grabs the giant Shuriken on its back. Greninja lifts the Shuriken above its head and brings it down to the ground with force, creating a shockwave strong enough to counter Mega Charizard's Blast Burn attack.

"What?!" Alain cried out in shock. "No-one's been able to counter Charizard's Blast Burn before!" Suddenly, red sparks appear around Charizard's body, indicating that it needs to recharge. "NOW'S OUR CHANCE GRENINJA!" Ash exclaims. "ICE PUNCH!" He commanded.

Ash and Greninja then slam their fists together, creating cyan sparkles. The sparkles then create a dome of white and blue energy (surrounded by snowflakes) around Greninja's fists. Greninja then springs towards Charizard and punches it in the jaw with so much force it sends it flying backwards.

"CHARIZARD!" Alain cried out in worry. "FLAMETHROWER!" He commanded. From the cloud of debris that Charizard was buried under, a stream of blue fire gets shot towards Greninja, exploding all of the debris and hitting Greninja directly.

Ash and Greninja put their arms in front of their faces, to try and protect themselves from the heat. "Let's break through Greninja!" Ash exclaims while Greninja is protecting itself from Charizard's Flamethrower. "Aerial Ace now!" He commanded.

Greninja jumps up with a high burst of speed with a clear aura around it, it then charges forward with a high burst of speed with a clear aura around it. Before Charizard could react, Greninja had already slashed it multiple times.

"Thunder Punch at close range!" Alain commanded. "Counter it with Ice Punch!" Ash-counter commanded. Charizard and Greninja then punched each others fists, Charizard's fist crackling with electricity and Greninja's fist crackling with icy energy.

Both Pokemon struggled for dominance until they were flung backwards with incredible force, both panting uncontrollably. "Dragon Claw!" "Night Slash!" Alain and Ash commanded simultaneously.

Ash and Greninja moved in perfect synchronization and spread their arms apart. Greninja's hands then became surrounded by a black and red aura with a purple outline. The auras then form into two sharp kunai shaped blades. Simultaneously, Charizard's hands became surrounded by a light-green energy, causing its claws to grow longer and sharper (while also glowing green).

The two then charged at each other and started to duel. The two jumped over, under and around each other, trying their best to get the upper hand. Greninja then was finally able to slice Charizard across the chest, but Charizard was able to do the same to Greninja.

"I think... it's just about... time... we wrapped this up..." Ash murmured, out of breath. "I agree..." Alain said. "BLAST BURN!" He commanded. Charizard then used its Blast Burn attack, which blasted towards Greninja. "Jump and dodge!" Ash commanded.

Greninja crouched, and the Shuriken on its back grew bigger. Greninja then sprung upwards, dodging the Blast Burn attack. "NOW GRENINJA!" Ash exclaimed. "WATER SHURIKEN!" He commanded. While still in the air, Greninja grabbed the massive Shuriken on its back and brought it over its head which caused it to grow to a massive size. Greninja then hurled the giant Shuriken at Charizard, who was unable to do anything.

When the Water Shuriken hit Charizard, it created an explosion so massive it actually malfunctioned the camera equipment the League was using, and actually cracked the screen of the scoreboard. "CHARIZARD!!!!!!!" Alain cried out in shock.

When the dust finally settled, Charizard was still standing, much to the shock of everyone. "Way to go Charizard!" Alain exclaimed with pride. "Now Thunder Punch!" He commanded.

Charizard however, did not respond. It didn't even acknowledge its Trainer's command. All Charizard did was collapse face-first on to the ground, reverting back to its normal form. Alain gasped, and Ash just stood there jaw dropped. Alain looked down and gave a sad smile before returning Charizard to its Pokeball.

"You battled well Charizard..." Alain whispered to the Pokeball. Alain then walked over to Ash. "Congratulations..." he said. "You are now officially the new Champion of the Unova League. I'm impressed!"

Ash then looked at Greninja, tears welling up in his eyes. 'Thanks Greninja...' he said telepathically. 'I couldn't have done this without you...' "You're more than welcome Ash..." Greninja answered telepathically before reverting back to its normal form and nodding.

A few minutes later...

Alain and Professor Juniper then inserted Ash's data to the hall of fame, stamping Ash's name in the annals of history as one of the Champions of the Unova League.

After that, Ash returned to the lobby of the Pokemon Center him and his friends were staying at, and was almost immediately tackled by a hug from Serena. "YOU DID IT ASH!" She cried out with tears if joy.

Ash then returned the hug. "Serena..." he murmured. "Yes Ash?" Serena asked him, still held in his embrace. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a while, and I figured now's the best time to say it..."

Serena broke the hug and looked at him in shock. 'Is he... is he... is he...?!' Was the only thing she could think of. Ash took a deep breath. "Here goes... Serena... I li..."

BOOM!

An extremely loud booming sound from outside interrupted the moment Ash's been planning for a while. Before the two could investigate the noise, an image appeared on the screen of the Pokemon Center's TV. Ash was shocked, the woman on the TV sounded EXACTLY like the woman he's been hearing in his nightmares.

"People of Unova!" The woman said. "I am Lusamine, the former President of the Aether Foundation. Now, I am the leader of a new organization, known as Team Rainbow Rocket! And our mission is to rid this world from all living beings, and let the era of the Ultra Beasts begin..."

Hey guys! Infinityalbi10 here! Sorry for the 3 day interval between Chapters. I decided to take a rest, especially after I got a job.

Hope you enjoyed the end of the Unova League and tomorrow-ish, I hope you'll enjoy seeing the beginning of the final arc of the story; the Ultra Downfall as I call it. We're back to giving summarys, so here it is;

After Ash's victory over the Unova League Champion, Alain, our heroes have been thrown in the middle of a war. The former president of the Aether Corporation/Foundation, Lusamine, has decided to purge the planet of all living being except for her and her followers, so that the era of the Ultra Beasts can begin.

Will our heroes be able to stop Lusamine? What kind of powers do the Ultra Beasts hold? What even are the Ultra Beasts?
