Previously in Pokemon Chaos and Order...

"PIKACHU! I CHOOSE YOU!" Ash exclaimed before pointing his finger towards the opponent. Pikachu soon ran the length of Ash's arm and jumped off, landing at the Battlefield. Pikachu and Serperior glared at each other for a few seconds, before charging at each other.

"Wrap!" Trip commanded. Serperior then extended its tail and wrapped it around Pikachu's body, before beginning to squeeze. "PIKACHU!" Ash cried out in shock, seeing his long-time partner is such inhuman agony. 'What am I going to do now?!'

Pikachu was being squeezed tightly by Serperior, barely having enough room to breathe. Trip knew this, and he wants to put Ash and his Pokemon in as much anguish as humanly (or inhumanly) possible.

"LET GO OF PIKACHU!" Ash roared in a commanding voice. Trip grinned, you could see in his face that he was trying to contain his laughter. "No can do Ketchum!" He said. "If you're not responsible enough to Train your Pokemon to a level where they can withstand being crushed, it's YOUR fault!"

"Trip's Serperior is squeezing Ash's Pikachu way too hard!" Exclaimed the announcer. "I don't think the judges should be okay with this!" (Hope you get the reference).

"Pikachu! Use Electro Ball! Shoot it at Serperior!" Ash commanded. "Wrap the tip of your tail around Pikachu's!" Trip counter-commanded. Pikachu was in the process of creating an electric ball that he can fire at Serperior, but Serperior stopped him by insulating Pikachu's tail.

"This is your last chance to give up Ketchup!" Trip said mockingly. "Either never talk to Serena again, or I will crush your Pikachu to pieces!" Ash dropped to his knees. Tears started to flow down the side of his face, he was unsure of what to do.

Then a familiar voice spoke in his head. "Don't give up 'till it's over!" It cried. Ash immediately recognized the voice, it was Serena's. 'She's right!' Ash thought while standing up. 'This is far from being over!'

"PIKACHU! LISTEN TO MY VOICE!" He cried out. "Pathetic..." Trip murmured before snapping his fingers, causing Serperior to squeeze even harder. Serena's Sylveon has popped out if its Pokeball and watched in horror at what was going on.

"SYLVI! ION ION ION!" She cried out for Pikachu. After a couple of seconds of Ash and Sylveon crying out for Pikachu, he shot his eyes open, even though no one saw it. "PLEASE PIKACHU! GET OUT OF THERE!" Ash cried out, hoping that Pikachu would hear him.

Lucky for Ash, Pikachu heard his pleads and was about to fulfil them. Pikachu's cheeks began to crackle with electricity. Without wasting a second, Pikachu released a powerful blast of electricity from its entire body, shocking Serperior both literally and figuratively.

(I've been waiting to do this for a long time!)

"WHAT?!" Trip exclaimed in shock (ba dum ching) as his Serperior was forced to let go of Pikachu by the insane amount of voltage it just received. Pikachu then landed safely on the ground, despite losing his footing because of the pain.

"YOU HEARD US!" Ash cried out as Pikachu gave him a thumbs up in response. While Serperior was still stunned, Pikachu took a look at Sylveon, who was more than relieved to see he was okay.

Pikachu then mumbled something in Pokemon language, which caused Sylveon to look shock and blush, covering her face with her fillers. Pikachu then turned over to Serperior and glared at it with a look of pure hatred. "Pika Pika! Pikachu!" He squeaked. Roughly translated, this means;

"Enough being Mr. Nice Guy!"

"I agree with you 100%, Pikachu!" Ash said, apparently understanding his partner. "Use Iron Tail!" He commanded. "Counter it with Dragon Tail!" Trip counter-commanded. Pikachu's tail then glowed metallic-blue, while Serperior's tail became surrounded by a purple, scale covered aura.

The two tails then slammed into each-other, just like when Pikachu was battling Kevin's Maria. The two struggled for control for a little longer before the two were sent flying backwards. "And even after all of that, neither side is giving up!" Said the announcer.

Ash then dug his hands into his pocket, until he pulled out a yellow, diamond-shaped crystal with a lightning-bolt carved in front of it.

"No more holding back buddy!" Ash said before slapping the crystal on his Z-Power Ring. "LET'S DO THIS PIKACHU!" He exclaimed before crossing his arms together in the shape of an 'X', causing the crystal to glow and the a light yellow-white before surrounding him with light. He then spread his arms to the sides of his body, moving them in a semi-circle formation. He then brought his arms forward, one on top of the other. All the while, Pikachu was doing the same thing.

Ash and Pikachu then stroke a pose. Both of their arms were bent and they were placed in opposite sides of their bodies (left arm facing the right side and right arm facing the left side).

The light that surrounded Ash then went over to Pikachu, surrounding it and making the same 'Z'-like shape to appear before him. "We're not holding back any voltage now, Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed.

Trip's eyes widened in horror, as he knew what was coming. 'He's using a Z-Move!' Trip thought in desperation. "USE FRENZY PLANT!" He quickly counter-commanded. Serperior's body becomes outlined in green. It then sticks its tail in the ground and makes giant roots with spikes on them come out of the ground and charge at Pikachu.

Pikachu then gathers all the electricity it has into a ball that appears in front of its body. Ash and Pikachu then pull back their hands. "GIGAVOLT...!" Ash yelled out before starting to move his fist forward.

"HAVOC!!!!!!!!!!!" Ash yells as him and Pikachu hurl their hands forward, causing Pikachu to punch the ball of electricity and sending it flying towards Serperior.

The massive ball of electricity and the massive brown roots hit their intended targets, causing two massive explosions to appear on each side of the battlefield, temporarily blinding both sides and the audience.

After the dust settled, both Pokemon were lying motionless on the ground, smoke coming out of them. "Both Pikachu and Serperior can no longer battle!" Exclaimed the referee. "It's a draw!"

Trip then angrily returned Serperior to its Pokeball, while Ash walked over to his injured partner and picked him up in his arms. Ash then carried Pikachu over to a safe place. "I'm so proud of you Pikachu!" Ash said while rubbing his cheeks against Pikachu's.

"You defeated Trip's Serperior! That's a huge achievement already!" "Pi... ka..." Pikachu replied weakly before Ash placed him in a safe place. Trip then drew out his sixth and final Pokeball. "HYDREIGON! STAND BY FOR BATTLE!" He exclaimed as he hurled the Pokeball forward, releasing his Pokemon.

"A Hydreigon..." Ash murmured in realization. "So he caught that Zweillous!" (Chapter 41). Ash then drew out his final Pokeball. He took a moment to look at it before whispering to it. "I'm counting on you..."

He then brought his arm backwards as far as he could. "CHARIZARD! I CHOOSE YOU!" He exclaimed while hurling his Pokeball forward, releasing his final Pokemon.

It roared powerfully, even giving Hydreigon a moment of flinching. "This is our one chance to win Charizard!" Ash said. "Let's make it count!" Charizard nodded before glaring at Hydreigon. The two growled for a few moments, waiting for their Trainers to give them a command.

"DRAGON PULSE/DRAGON BREATH!" Both Trainers commanded in unison. Hydreigon fires three differently colored beams from its three mouthed. The beams then combine into a giant multi-colored energy dragon. Simultaneously, a cyclone of pale purple wind appears around Charizard's body and it releases a stream of pale purple fire at Hydreigon.

The two attacks collided with each other, creating a huge explosion in the middle of the Battlefield. When the dust cleared, neither Pokemon took any damage, much to Trip's shock. "My Charizard is no pushover Trip!" Ash exclaimed. "Neither one of us is backing down!"

"It'll be written on your tombstone then!" Trip exclaimed. "USE TRI-ATTACK!" He commanded. Hydreigon opens the mouths on its three heads and charges an orb of energy before each of them, all with different colors. It then fires an Ice-type move from the left arm head, a Fire-type move from the middle head, and an Electric-type move from the right arm head at Charizard.

"Dodge it!" Ash commanded. Charizard then fearlessly flew towards the energy beams, carefully maneuvering itself around them. "Don't just stand there!" Trip insulted. "Dragon Rush!" He commanded.

Streams of bright blue aura start to form around Hydreigon's body and then they grow and cover most of its body, with a black shadowy aura inside the bright blue and purple, dragon-shaped aura as it grows. "Use Steel Wing!" Ash counter-commanded.

Charizard's wings expand and glow a metal-gray color. Charizard and Hydreigon then charge at each other, finally colliding and creating a huge explosion in the middle of the battlefield.

When the dust of the explosion cleared, Charizard was sent tumbling towards the ground. "CHARIZARD NO!" Ash cried out, causing Charizard to regain its balance and use its wings to float safely into the ground. "There's only one way we can beat this Charizard!" Ash exclaimed, remembering the night before.

"Thanks for sending them over Professor Oak!" Ash thanked the Professor over videophone, thanking him for sending in Bulbasaur and Snorlax, and notifying Officer Jenny to bring over his Squirtle.

"So aside fro Keldeo you're going to battle with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Snorlax and Squirtle..." Nate thought out loud. "That comes up to 5 Pokemon, who's your sixth?" He asked curiously.

Suddenly, a shadow appeared over them, darkening the bright night sky. Ash looked up and smiled. "I think you're about to find out..." he said before running over to his Charizard, who was about to land.

"It's great seeing you again, Charizard!" Ash exclaimed as he hugged Charizard. As usual, Charizard blasted Ash in the face with a playful Flamethrower. Before Serena could worry too much, Charizard showed its tail to Ash, revealing an object around it.

Ash's eyes widened in shock. "Charizard... is that what I think this is?" He asked, bewildered. Charizard nodded and Ash smiled widely.

Ash then closed his eyes while pulling out the silver necklace he was wearing, revealing a hexagon-shaped container in the middle. "Serena gave us this power..." he said as he brought the necklace over his head. Ash then shot his eyes open. "LET'S UTILIZE IT!" He exclaimed before opening the container, revealing...

"A KEY STONE?!" Trip cried out in shock, now noticing a similar stone in a golden container around Charizard's tail.

"NO HOLDING BACK CHARIZARD!" Ash exclaimed as he tightly closed the container. The stone then began to glow yellow and shoot out rays of light from Ash's fist.

The stone on Charizard's tail also shot out rays of light as it began to glow. Charizard's body then glowed pink and orange before the rays went over to each other, the rays coming out of Ash's stone combined with the rays coming out of Charizard's stone. Charizard began to glow and change.

"UNBELIEVABLE!" Exclaimed the announcer. "Ash's Charizard has just Mega Evolved!" "YES!" Ash cried out in happiness. "MEGA EVOLUTION IS SO AMAZING!" The skylight on the roof of the building where the Vertress Conference was being held then opened up, revealing harsh sunlight that came pouring down on the Battlefield, blinding a lot of people.

"Mega Charizard's Special Ability is Drought!" Ash explained. "Get ready to be hit by some extra powerful Fire moves! FLAMETHROWER GO!" He commanded. The flame on Mega Charizard's tail grew brighter and stronger as a red aura surrounded its body. Mega Charizard then opens its mouth and forms a ball of white fire with a red-orange stream of fire spiraling around it. It then fires a stream of white fire with red-orange fire around it from the orb at Hydreigon.

Charizard's Flamethrower attack hit Hydreigon directly, creating a huge explosion. "Don't give Hydreigon time to recover!" Ash commanded. "Steel Wing!" Mega Charizard's wings expand and glow a metal-gray color. Mega Charizard then charges at Hydreigon at full speed.

"Use Crunch!" Trip counter-commanded. The mouths on Hydreigon's left and right heads open and as soon as Mega Charizard was about to hit it, Hydreigon bit down on Mega Charizard's wings, causing it to growl in pain.

"CHARIZARD!" Ash cried out in worry. "What are you waiting for?!" Trip asked sarcastically. "FINISH IT OFF ALREADY! DRAGON RUSH NOW!!!!!!" He commanded. Hydreigon's body then becomes surrounded by a blue and purple aura.

Ash began to panic, he knew that if Charizard was hit even one more time by Hydreigon's Dragon Rush, it's over. 'There's only one thing we can do in a situation like this...' Ash thought. 'It's risky... but it's our only hope! We only have one shot at this... we can't be dumb about it...!'

Ash then slammed his foot down and cried his lungs out, as loud as he possibly could. "CHARIZARD! SEISMIC TOSS NOW!!!!!!" He commanded. Mega Charizard then shot its eyes open. It grabbed hold on both of Hydreigon's neck appendages (the necks it was using as arms).

Hydreigon looked confused, but Mega Charizard smirked. Mega Charizard then blasted itself high in the air, causing the blue and purple aura surrounding Hydreigon to break up and fall apart. Mega Charizard flew higher and higher until it flew above the clouds. Mega Charizard the did a back flip before nose-diving back to the ground at full speed. Mega Charizard's body became surrounded by flames because of the friction it was experiencing.

As soon as Mega Charizard was close enough to the ground it stopped, spun around a little bit with Hydreigon still in its grasp and then hurled Hydreigon to the ground with so much force it created a huge dust cloud that surrounded the entire stadium.

After a couple of seconds, the dust cloud finally dissipated. Mega Charizard was hovering next to its Trainer, while Hydreigon was inside a huge crater. "HYDREIGON IS UNABLE TO BATTLE!" Exclaimed the referee. "CHARIZARD WINS! WHICH MEANS THE VICTORY, AND TITLE OF VERTRESS CONFERENCE WINNER GOES TO ASH KETCHUM!"

"AND WHAT A KNOCKOUT!" Exclaimed the announcer as multicolored fireworks flew out ad lit up the sky with beautiful colors, despite being broad daylight. Charizard then reverted back to its normal form and roared with pride, releasing a stream of fire from its mouth, as some sort of VICTORY SCREECH as a song began to play.

(I know it's cliche, but I really really love this song!)

Ash however remained speechless. He still had to process the information he was receiving. "I... I won...?" He questioned, his eyes beginning to fill with streaming tears. "I... I can't believe this..." he said as he looked down, causing a huge smile to form on his face.

"WE WON!" Ash exclaimed while jumping upwards with glee. Before long however he noticed Trip, who was distraught and kneeling on the ground. "I lost...?" He questioned, not sure of how to handle the situation. "It can't be... I know I raised my Pokemon perfectly... I never made one mistake... I had a perfectly balanced team... nothing should've been able to beat it..."

"But you still lost..." Ash said, trying to keep his tone reassuring, and not mad. Trip refused to make eye-contact with Ash, and he began to cry. "Look Trip... there's only one reason you lost..." Ash said as he knelt down next to him. "You were so focused on beating me and making up excuses for why Serena broke up with you 2 years ago... that you never gave your Pokemon the proper trust, respect and love that they deserve..."

Trip finally took a moment to think about that. He knew what Ash could do, he saw the amazing feats Ash did with his Greninja. He never knew how Ash did that until now... 'Ash believes in his Pokemon... he loves them...' Trip realised.

"I... I'm sorry..." Trip said with a choked voice. "You're right... I thought I was better than everyone... and that made me the bad guy..." Ash smiled, stood up and extended his hand for Trip. "If you treat your Pokemon better I know you can do amazing things..."

Trip smiled and took Ash's hand as he stood up. "I'm sorry for everything..." Trip said again. "I think it's better if we put all our differences aside..." "You got it!" Ash replied. Trip then returned Hydreigon to its Pokeball and for the first time, praised his Pokemon on a job well done. He then began to walk away.

"Oh yeah..." Trip said. "You won the bet... so can you please tell Serena that I'm sorry? I don't deserve someone like her..." Ash adjusted his cap. "I'll pass the message..." he replied. "She'll be very pleased..." Trip smiled a sad smile. "One more thing before I go..." Trip said. "Good luck facing the Champion tomorrow..." "I won't lose!" Ash exclaimed.

Hey guys! Infinityalbi10 here! I'm pretty sure you all saw this one coming but Ash just won the League. And I bet the Mega Charizard thing would've been a surprise if SOMEBODY hadn't spoiled it back in Chapter 23. Anyways, Ash is going to face the current Champion and I'm keeping his or her identity a secret until tomorrow (or the day after tomorrow as the case may or may not be).
