Previously in Pokemon Chaos and Order...

Ash and company enter Twist Mountain and are met by a Pokemon Trainer named Amber, who was being attacked by Team Plasma.

After defeating the Team Plasma grunts, they were met by the Leader of Team Plasma, Ghetsis, and his little #$%!& of a daughter.

Ash and Ghetsis get into a battle, which ends in a victory for Ash. Amber decides to join the team for a while, as they head to Iciruss City.

Our heroes have finally arrived in Iciruss City and Ash is more than ready to face the Gym Leader. However, the state their Pokemon are in after battling those members of Team Plasma aren't so fighting fit, so instead of the Gym they headed to the Iciruss City Pokemon Center.

"Hey Ash, this is something I've been meaning to ask you since the beginning of our journey..." Nate said before sitting down across from Ash and Serena (who were sitting together). "Ask away mate!" Ash said while eating a snack he bought for energy. "My life is an open book!"

"What are you planning to do after you win or lose the Unova League?" He asked while taking a quick glance at his sister, who he knew had feelings for Ash. Ash's eyes widened as he nearly choked on his snack, taking a quick glance over to Serena.

"The book closed..." Ash said while avoiding eye-contact with both Nate and Serena, and crossing his arms (Ben 10 reference). "It's THAT bad to tell your friends what you plan to do after accomplishing your dream?" Dawn asked surprised.

"Yeah Ash... it's not like we're gonna spread the word..." Serena said in a sweet tone. This was what broke Ash, and he sighed as soon as Amber sat down next to Dawn. "Okay... I'll tell you..." he said while looking around the Pokemon Center's lobby to make sure no-one's eavesdropping.

"Just to disclose, I never told this to anyone, not even my own mom..." he said in a hushed tone. "So be aware that I'm trustin you four to keep something big as a secret okay?" Serena, Nate, Dawn and Amber nodded. Ash took a deep breath, and then began to tell his story:

(Ash's POV)

When I was around two or three years old, my dad abandoned me and my mom because he wanted to go on a Pokemon Journey and achieve his dream. My mom was the head-chef of the biggest restaurant in Pallet Town, so she was always too busy to take care of me.

This is why she enrolled me in Professor Oak's Pokemon Academy (remember, in this universe you have to take classes on Pokemon to be compatible to get a Trainer's license) at the relatively young age of six.

This is how I was able to get two Pokemon by the time I went to the Summer Camp and met you, Serena, I had already graduated. But the reason I'm telling you all of this is because that all of this happened because my father left.

Despite me being heralded like a child prodigy, I felt like a hollow shell for mist of my life. I don't even remember who my father is. And what's worse is that my mom told me that HER dad did the same to her family when she was my age.

Which is why... I decided that accomplishing my dream has to be my number one priority. After I accomplish my dream... I'm probably going to start looking for 'the one'. I don't want to look for love before I accomplish my dream because I don't want to make my future family go through what I had to go through...

Nate, Dawn, Amber and especially Serena were speechless after hearing Ash's story. "Sorry Ash..." Nate said while lowering his head. "I shouldn't have meddled where it's not my business..." Ash sighed. "Nah, it's okay..." he said. "You were going to figure this out sooner or later..."

As Ash was chatting with the other three, Serena was silent, and her face warming up by the second. 'He said he was going to start looking for 'the one'...' she thought. 'Does he distant himself from people because he cares? If so, then he must not care for me at all because he keeps trying to get closer to me. But isn't that the move of someone who cares?!'

A train of thought was racing all over her mind, but it was interrupted by a small explosion outside of the Pokemon Center. Our heroes then went out to investigate the crash sight, like the meddling kids they are, and discover a struggling Pokemon.

I was a quadruped, colt-like Pokemon with a cream-colored body. It has a short, rounded snout with large nostrils, and blue eyes. It has a large, feathery red mane, long, dark blue, ridged eyebrow-like protrusions, and a single cream-colored horn that curves slightly. The back of its head, as well as its neck, is covered with fluffy, light blue fur. It has blue hooves, which are capable of ejecting water. Its tail is light blue with white spots and resembles an elaborate feather in a cap.

The Pokemon was seriously injured and its horn was broken. "What's that?!" Nate asked, concern filling his voice. Ash stepped forward. "Whatever it is, it's seriously injured!" He said while trying to lift the Pokemon up. Despite it weighing at around 48.5 kg or 107 lbs (which is about 93% of my body weight 😂) Ash was able to lift the Pokemon up no problem.

"C'mon! The Pokemon Center is literally steps away!" Ash said while starting to head to the Pokemon Center. Before he could take another step though, something crashed like a comet mere inches from Ash. Luckily, Serena spotted the object headed towards Ash and pushed him out of the way.

It was a gray and blue, bipedal Pokemon of indefinable but seemingly draconic basis. It has a blue head and snout and has yellow eyes without pupils, has a pair of pointed light bluish horns on its head and a yellow crest on its skull. Three pointed teeth jut out the bottom of either side of its jaws, which are frozen shut by the ice covering its head. Its long, gray neck has lines running around its whole body, legs, arms and tail.

It has two arms, each with its own claw and each arm is jointed together from its oddly shaped blue wings, which are believed to be used for flying and storing cold air. Each wing has two spikes of ice. The ice covering the wings can break, revealing gray tendril-like appendages on its back. The right side of its body seems to be damaged in some way, as the wing and horn on its head on that side are shorter; the right side of its head also has a spiked edge near its jaw hinge that is absent from its left. Its legs are somewhat slender, and has three sharp ice-like claws on each enormous foot. Its tail has three blue conical spikes on its tip, and appears to be some sort of propulsion device or a container of energy; exactly what it is based on is unclear, but it may be a damaged turbine.

"There you are..." our heroes heard a voice emanating from the Pokemon. "It... it... can talk...?" Dawn said while shaking. "Puny humans. Hand over the Sword of Justice and your destruction will be quick and painless!" It exclaimed.

"LIKE THAT'S EVEN AN OPTION!" Ash exclaimed while drawing out two of his Pokeballs. "TALONFLAME, LYCANROC! I CHOOSE YOU!" He exclaimed while throwing his Pokeballs.

"YEAH! LET'S GO SYLVEON AND PANCHAM!" Serena exclaimed while throwing her Pokeballs. Nate, Dawn and Amber did the same, releasing Nate's Tyrunt and Lucario, Dawn's Rapidash and Togekiss and Amber's Crobat and Bronzong.

"Pathetic..." the Pokemon exclaimed. The Pokemon then raises its head and surrounds itself with swirls of cold air, creating giant spikes of ice which swirl around it. It then blows the cold air in our heroes' direction, and without them even flinching, they were all frozen solid.

"I wanted to award you a quick and painless destruction..." the Pokemon spoke to the frozen body of our heroes. "Now suffer the eternal cold of my Glaciate attack!" The Pokemon then walked over to the injured Pokemon from before, each step creating a miniature earthquake.

"GET UP AND FIGHT ME! SWORD OF JUSTICE!" The Pokemon exclaimed before releasing a multicolored, dragon-shaped beam of energy from its mouth, hitting the injured Pokemon and sending it flying backwards, still unconscious.

"I SAID FIGHT ME!" The other Pokemon roared. A light blue ball forms in front of the Pokemon's jaw. Light blue beams are then released from the ball, hitting the injured Pokemon and injuring it even more.

The Pokemon then shrugged. "Just as I thought... YOU'RE WEAK!" It said while walking away. "Just like your mentors..." the injured Pokemon then whimpered, remembering how his friends and mentors, the Swords of Justice, were brought to the brink of destruction because it couldn't wait for its Training to be complete, and it went to battle this monstrosity alone.

Suddenly its eyes shot wide open and they were glowing red. "KYUREM!" The injured Pokemon shouted, catching the other Pokemon's attention. To Kyurem's shock, the other Pokemon was standing and was covered in a red aura. "FEEL ALL THE PAIN YOU'VE CAUSED FOR OTHERS KYUREM! RETALIATE!" It exclaimed while slamming onto Kyurem with its front legs, sending it tumbling backwards.

"Now you want to give me a real challenge..." Kyurem exclaimed before blasting another Dragon Pulse at the other Pokemon. "HYDRO PUMP!" The other Pokemon exclaimed before releasing powerful blasts of water from its back hooves at Kyurem's Dragon Pulse.

Kyurem's Dragon Pulse and the other Pokemon's Hydro Pump collided, creating a huge explosion. Unbeknownst to either of them, the explosion has melted a bit of Kyurem's ice, releasing Ash's hand and his face.

The two Pokemon continued to clash with each other. Ice Beam and Dragon Pulse clash with Hydro Pump, Glaciate gets "eaten" and then thrown back with Retaliate, and Ancient Power becomes yesterday's news with Focus Blast. Eventually though, both Pokemon get tired of battling and are ready to finish this off once and for all.

The Pokemon that is fighting Kyurem was a little bit faster and as such was able to summon an attack first. The Pokemon opens its mouth and forms a light blue and yellow orb of energy in front of it. It the fires the ball at Kyurem. Kyurem, without even breaking a sweat, slaps the Focus Blast aside sending it towards our heroes' frozen bodies.

The Pokemon tried to summon another Focus Blast, but became way too tired and was unable to. "I told you you were weak..." Kyurem said in a taunting and menacing tone. "Now you will perish..." it says as it powers up its most powerful attack, Glaciate.

Before Kyurem's Glaciate could hit the weak Pokemon, they heard a shaking voice. "ELECTRO... BALL...!" A gold and blue ball of electricity is then blasted towards Kyurem's Glaciate and destroys it. "WHAT?!" Kyurem exclaimed in shock (no pun intended).

"Hey... A... a... a... ARTICGUANA!" The voice called out in a taunting tone, revealing it to be Ash, shivering like crazy. "If... y... y... you think... y... you... if you think you're tough... come... COME AT ME!" He exclaimed, while Pikachu stands up, ready to battle.

Before Ash could give Pikachu a command, Pikachu glanced over to the icicle that is trapping our heroes. Pikachu's eyes widened in shock and anger as it saw Sylveon frozen. Pikachu's cheeks then lit up with sparks and charged over at Kyurem, dodging its Ice Beam attack and slapping it in the face with a Super Effective Iron Tail.

"Who... who... who are you...?" The Pokemon asked Ash while gasping for air. "My name is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town!" Ash exclaimed, the cold finally not affecting him anymore. "AND I WON'T JUST STAND BY WHILE THIS POKE-BULLY IS BEATING UP ON YOU! PIKACHU, USE THUNDERBOLT!"

Pikachu then fired its signature Thunderbolt attack, hitting Kyurem square in the face, and creating a cloud of smoke. Just when Ash was about to relax, he noticed that blue bolts of lightning were coming out of the cloud of smoke, and Kyurem flew out of the cloud of smoke, looking different.

"You've made an awful mistake boy!" Kyurem exclaimed. "AND THE LAST!" Kyurem then puts its claws together, and a light bluish-white ball of energy surrounded by electricity is formed and becomes larger. Kyurem then separates its claws, and the ball is fired at Ash and Pikachu.

Without receiving a command, Pikachu fires another Thunderbolt attack, aiming for Kyurem's Freeze Shock attack. Pikachu's Thunderbolt was strong enough to propel Kyurem's Freeze Shock back at Kyurem, exploding in its face. But even that wasn't enough to defeat Kyurem, who re-emerged from the cloud of smoke, looking different again.

Kyurem just growled before releasing its next attack. Kyurem's body glows orange and creates a circular reddish-purple aura around itself. It then releases multiple reddish-purple beams of energy at Ash and Pikachu.

The injured Pokemon's eyes widened as Kyurem's Ice Burn was getting closer and closer to Ash. It gritted its teeth, slammed its hooves on the ground and cried out, as its body glows orange, blue, green and purple.

Before Kyurem's Ice Burn could hit Ash and Pikachu, it was obliterated by a Hydro Pump attack. When Ash and Pikachu opened their eyes, they saw that the Pokemon from before was standing, and looked different.

The dark blue protrusions become shorter and lighter in color, resembling ears. Its horn becomes dark blue, and grows larger and ridged. On the side of its head are three feathers colored aqua blue, green and orange.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" Kyurem exclaimed in shock. "Woah..." was the only thing Ash could say. The Pokemon then looked at Kyurem dead in the eyes. "I AM KELDEO OF THE SWORDS OF JUSTICE!" It exclaimed. "AND I WILL NOT STAND BY WHILE THIS POKE-BULLY IS BEATING UP ON AN INNOCENT HUMAN!"

Kyurem then growled and fired another Ice Burn. Before it could hit either of them, Keldeo's body glows yellow, and a giant yellow blade of energy forms from its horn. Keldeo then uses the blade to slice the Ice Burn. Before Kyurem could retaliate, Keldeo pulls off the same trick again, slicing Kyurem and creating a huge explosion.

When the dust cleared Keldeo was still standing, but Kyurem was nowhere to be seen. "THAT... WAS... AMAZING!" Ash exclaimed while running towards Keldeo. "Why thank you Ash..." Keldeo thanked Ash as it returned to its normal forme.

Pikachu then reminded Ash that his friends and their Pokemon are still frozen. "OH NO! WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?!" Ash cries out in worry. Keldeo thinks for a bit and then has an idea. "I've got it!" It exclaimed before releasing two powerful blasts of scalding hot water from its hooves at the ice, heating it up and melting it.

Meanwhile, somewhere else...

Kyurem, still in denial, is stomping its way back to its lair.

It was about to throw a Tyrantrum, but is stopped when it realises that it has visitors. "Don't worry icy one, we're not here to harm you..." a female voice said. "We know what you truly want. To see all of Unova covered in ice! And we can give it to you!"

Kyurem then looked interested. "Go on..." it said. "We're bringing together a group of remarkable people..." the woman said. "And our goal is to crush our enemies and obtain the ultimate goal of purging this world of humans! The Swords of Justice are our enemies..."

A man then walks up to the light, revealing it to be Ghetsis. "And so is the boy who helped Keldeo defeat you..." Kyurem then grinned. "Whatever team you're building... I'm in!"

Back with our heroes...

After Keldeo melted Kyurem's ice with its Scald attack, Ash and Keldeo brought blankets and medicine for our shaking and cold heroes. Pikachu first hopped over to Serena's Sylveon, to make sure that it's alright. Sylveon blushed at Pikachu's act of kindness, and was even more surprised after it decided to cuddle with it. (Awww...)

"No... way...!" Nate exclaimed while wrapping himself with the blanket he has. "I can't believe you've actually battled Kyurem!" Before Ash could speak, all of them heard three voices speaking simultaneously. "He did more than battle it!" The voices exclaimed. They all turned around to see three Pokemon walking up to them.

"VIRIZION! TERRAKION! COBALION!" Keldeo exclaimed in surprise. "You're alive!" "We're more than alive..." Virizion, the green one, said. "And so are you..." Terrakion, the brown/grey one, said. "You are now a Sword of Justice!" Cobalion, the blue one, said.

Keldeo smiled and started to tear up. The four then gathered together and combined their horns.

Virizion: Greater than one is two.
Terrakion: Greater than two is three.
Keldeo: Greater than three is four.
Cobalion: When the strength of friends is combined into one...
All: ...Then true power and courage are created!

Ash sat down next to Serena, much to her shock, and started clapping his hands. "You were awesome Keldeo!" He exclaimed. After finishing its oath, Keldeo then walked up to Ash. "Thanks but..." it stopped for a moment. "I want to come with you!" Ash, Serena, Nate, Dawn, Amber, all of their Pokemon and ESPECIALLY The Swords of Justice were shocked by this.

"No offence guys, but if my Training with you is complete, I think it's only fair that I begin my Training with a human..." Keldeo said. Ash's eyes tear up. "I'm flattered Keldeo!" He exclaimed. "I'll happily train you!"

Ash and Keldeo smiled as Ash pulled out an empty Pokeball and lightly touched Keldeo's forehead with it, sucking it in with a flash of blue. After the capture succeeded, Ash looked up to the Swords of Justice. "Don't worry you three!" He said. "I'll take really good care of Keldeo!"

So to clarify, Ash explaining his plans for the future is actually a pro-Amour theory that I came up with to explain why the "H E double hockey sticks" Ash is so dense when he clearly established that he did think that at least one girl was cute (that lass wit a Cubone).

Secondly, ASH JUST CAUGHT A KELDEO! How about that? Next Chapter Ash will be facing against the Iciruss City Gym Leader, which he has met before, and he will be using Keldeo for that battle! Anyways, here's next Chapter's summary:

After Ash's incredible battle against the Legendary Pokemon Kyurem, Ash feels that he's ready to face the Ice-type specialist of Iciruss City, Bryce.

Despite having a Legendary Pokemon in his arsenal, Ash can't shake the feeling that he has met this guy before, and that it's going to take much more than just Type advantage to defeat him.

Will Ash come out on top and win his seventh Gym Badge? Will he discover where he has met Bryce before? And what does the mysterious woman in the shadows has in store for our heroes?
